"We were very happy with our stay at Matie Osiria. We arrived at around 9 am in the hotel and they let us check in early even if the check in time was still at 4pm. It was such a treat for us because we were able to go to a lot of tourist spots in Busan without any hassle. Although we cannot speak Korean, the receptionist were able to understand and speak English and we were able to understand their instructions. The hotel has a great view of the sea and the bay, it was so refreshing. The room was also clean and beautiful. The double beds and the pillow are soft and the bed linens was of great quality and clean. Their bathroom was clean too. The room was big too and we do not feel cramped. It was just a walking distance to the Haedong Yonggungsa temple, and the Lotte Malls and Lotte World Adventure, Skyline Luge and other malls. There are also great restaurants within walking distance that serves great affordable food. It is also near the Osiria coastal walk where you can see fisherfolks drying sea weeds and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. They have toiletries like shampoo, soap, tooth paste etc. I wrote it because most of the hotels in South Korea do not provide single use toiletries anymore. The location was good for us too because there are not lots of tourists around unlike in some areas of Busan which is teeming with people. It was really a relaxing place. I will surely book here again in the future and i will recommend Matie Osiria to our friends."

"The owner is friendly and goes through the house rules with guests before check-in. (This is thoughtful, but also implies there are many rules.) Eating strong-smelling food is prohibited in the rooms, but there's a dining area for guests. However, it can get noisy if other guests are inconsiderate, making it hard to relax. The hairdryer in the room has weak, cool air and an irritating high-pitched sound. You can't use 110V appliances (transformers are forbidden), but there are two USB charging ports. There's a large TV with YouTube and Netflix, but since you can't eat late-night snacks while watching, I didn't use it much. The room has a small entryway, and you need to close the inner door, otherwise, the sensor light keeps turning on and off. The layout is a bit small; you can barely open two suitcases. There are six lighting zones controlled by both a master panel and a remote. Although there's a full-length mirror, the indoor lighting isn't bright enough for applying makeup. The bathroom isn't a wet/dry separation, and the door opens inwards, requiring a shower curtain to be pulled across. To get fresh towels and bottled water, you need to hang used towels on the door. You also need to inform them in advance if you want room cleaning. Toiletries like toner, lotion, makeup remover, razors, toothbrushes, and paper cups are provided. The view is average; from the eighth floor, you can see the rooftops of buildings opposite. The location is good, with a CU convenience store across the street, and 7-Eleven, a supermarket, Lotte Department Store, Seomyeon Market, and many restaurants nearby. It's about a ten-minute walk to Seomyeon Station, which is quite close. Breakfast was pretty much the same for all three days I stayed. The bananas weren't very tasty, but the tuna salad was good. The lobby has a restroom, a fridge with bottled water, a dining area, and a luggage scale, which is very thoughtful. They even let me store my luggage after check-out (though they're not responsible for its safekeeping). The elevator doesn't require a key card to operate, which raises a slight safety concern."

"I really liked this hotel. Even though it’s a bit remote, it’s very quiet, the view is amazing, and the room is comfortable, I truly enjoyed my stay. The bus stop is very close, and if you need to go to the airport, there is also an airport bus nearby, about a 13-minute walk. Before coming, I had read some reviews and many of them were quite negative, so I was a little worried. But once I arrived, I liked it immediately. The hotel is cozy, and the staff are very friendly. Even though it’s in a quieter area, I think it’s actually very convenient to start exploring Busan from this side. It’s much less crowded compared to the city center. Plus, Lotte Mall is just a few stops away, so if you plan to do some serious shopping, it’s very convenient. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip to Busan."

The hotel is super convenient, just a 1-minute walk from Lianhan Station Exit 5 or 7. If you take Exit 5, there's an elevator, so you don't have to lug your luggage up and down stairs. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily, and they provide two bottles of water. Having a washing machine in the room is a huge plus! There's a CU convenience store on the first floor of the hotel, and a 7-Eleven right across the street. Plus, there are tons of restaurants nearby, offering everything from pork soup and rice, BBQ, and pig's trotters to abalone porridge and cold noodles.

Everything was great, except for the rather cold front desk staff. Location: Absolutely perfect! It's directly across from the Haeundae Tourist Information Center, just a short walk across the pedestrian crossing. The first floor has a convenience store and a bakery, and the second floor hosts three restaurants: the hotel's buffet (serving breakfast and lunch), a king crab restaurant (reservations easily made via Naver), and a sushi place. Step out of the hotel, turn right, and within ten meters, you'll find a McDonald's and Ilpum Hanwoo (which is absolutely delicious). The convenience for dining and accommodation is a solid 10/10 – I was extremely satisfied. Facilities: The front desk is on the third floor, where you'll also find luggage lockers. Each floor's hallway has an ice machine and a water dispenser. In the room, there are six large paper cups, four bottles of water, and six pour-over coffee packets, so you'll definitely have enough ice and coffee. The hotel also offers airport/city shuttle buses every hour, though I didn't use them. The rooftop infinity pool is on the smaller side, but the view makes up for it. Plus, they manage entry by time slots (for an extra fee), which keeps it clean and peaceful. My room had a partial ocean view facing the beach near the tourist center, not a full 180-degree view, but I was still very happy with it. Note ⚠️: Remember to bring your own toiletries.

It's very close to the train station, about a 10-minute walk. The room is a bit small, and laundry service is quite expensive, more so than other hotels. There's a front desk staff member who speaks Chinese, which is very convenient.

This feels like a luxury hotel, but the substance is lacking… 1. **No in-room phone.** If I wanted to call the front desk, I had to use my own phone to find the number in the booklet and dial it. 2. **Low floors are… well.** The 'ocean view' was useless. Some building's water tank and a Holly's coffee shop blocked most of it. I had to crawl on the floor, taking 5,000 photos, to get just one decent shot. So, if you're on a low floor, you'll have to crawl to see the ocean! Okay, maybe this is my fault for not paying more for a higher floor. BUT, the room photos in the introduction made it seem like there was an unobstructed ocean view, which feels like a scam. There weren't many hotel reviews, so I couldn't have known. I feel cheated. 3. **The biggest problem is privacy.** The toilet faces a window, and the jacuzzi and shower are also in front of full-length windows. Since it's a low floor, you can make eye contact with people in the cafe across the street. My bathroom breaks, showers, and jacuzzi use could all be public! I don't know if the windows are meant to be covered, but it felt very awkward. I had to keep the blinds fully down to use the bathroom and jacuzzi, which defeats the purpose of an 'ocean view' and felt very stifling. They told me not to close the jacuzzi window because of humidity, but the shower is right there, and I almost froze showering! Seriously, you'd think they'd put more thought into the design, even beyond the ocean view… 4. **The room is so big, but there are no mirrors anywhere** you’d expect one! Only the bathroom mirror, which made doing makeup and getting dressed in the morning incredibly inconvenient. 5. **I used a barrier-free room, but as an able-bodied person, I didn't feel any consideration for disabled guests.** Even I, a seasoned traveler in my 20s, had trouble distinguishing between the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I almost ran out of hot water in the shower trying to figure it out. The labels are tiny and on the back somewhere, so you have to really search. Couldn't they use dedicated bottles or at least proper labeling? 6. **There's no room service or similar services, but other services are expensive.** Maybe I just couldn't find it, but usually, hotel F&B services are in the in-room booklet, aren't they? There was nothing. Okay, maybe because it's a lower-star hotel, it wouldn't have it. BUT, late check-out extension costs 33,000 won (which isn't cheaper than other luxury hotels). So, the standard doesn't reach luxury hotel levels, but the service fees feel comparable to one. Breakfast also felt similar, so I didn't use it. Considering all of this, if you're just looking for a cost-effective place, it's okay.

After all, it's a branded hotel. The Lotte Hotel lobby is grand and upscale, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, bright, and clean. The location is excellent, with a subway station nearby for easy travel, and it's not far from Busan KTX Station or the airport. There's a convenience store across the street for easy access to food. Plenty of restaurants are right next door, making dining very convenient. The Lotte Duty-Free Shop is also right there, perfect for shopping. The only downside was that I couldn't find a TV channel to watch the World Cup.

Baymond is situated in a perfect location. We were in a walking distance to many restaurants, the beach and convenience stores. The rooms are on the smaller side. Interior could be upgraded as it is a bit old. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a lovely rooftop pool and sauna on site. Pool and jacuzzi are overlooking the beach and the busy streets of Haeundae. Places to check out nearby: Busan x the sky, olive young, hot pot spots, Indian restaurants, baskin robins for some ice cream If you’re looking for a convenient, affordable hotel Baymond is a good choice.

Although this hotel requires two transfers to get back to the upper floors, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a pedestrian street with plenty of food options, and the beach is just across the road. I'll definitely bring my kids back here for a vacation again.

It was difficult to find the hotel; the address on Trip.com's map didn't match, confusing it with the building next door. The reception staff were friendly. However, in the morning, when I wanted to have breakfast, the lady asked me to pay an extra 18,000 won for it, even though I had already paid. We had trouble understanding each other, and I had to pay again to eat. For that price, not even coffee was included with breakfast. The pool was nice and warm.
