Our stay was excellent, and we especially want to commend our butler, Xiao Jiang. From pre-arrival communication and meeting us at the scenic area ferry terminal, to planning our itinerary and arranging dining and boat tours during our stay, she was incredibly thorough and thoughtful throughout. She proactively anticipated our needs, even thoughtfully providing mosquito repellent. Her demeanor was warm and professional, and her service was attentive yet unobtrusive, making us feel truly welcomed in this water town. The hotel's architecture uniquely reflects silk culture, and the breakfast was delicious. Coupled with our butler's high-quality service, our trip was incredibly comfortable. We'll definitely choose Silk Hotel again on our next visit.

This hotel truly lives up to its reputation as the best in Zhejiang's ancient towns. While the entrance isn't grand, it holds a charming secret within. The hotel boasts an inner courtyard with a covered bridge, and from my window, I could gaze upon a picturesque scene of small bridges, flowing water, and lotus ponds. The intricate eaves, carved windows, stacked tiles, and dark walls perfectly encapsulate the ambiance of a Jiangnan village, especially when strolling through the alleys in a light drizzle. This hotel provided me with the most beautiful ancient town experience. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The welcome fruit wasn't just a couple of apples and cherry tomatoes; it was a selection of premium fruits. The bedding felt like high-end sateen cotton, though I'm no expert, I could tell it was of excellent quality. There were even multiple pillow options. The room was spotlessly clean, which is a huge plus for me as I'm a bit of a clean freak and have high standards for hygiene – this place passed with flying colors. Breakfast needed to be reserved a day in advance. While the variety wasn't extensive, every dish was exquisite and catered to both Chinese and Western tastes. The personalized butler service was excellent; Grace was available 24/7, ready to assist with any questions I had, both inside and outside the hotel. The hotel's location is right in the middle of Wuzhen's West Scenic Zone (Xizha). Although it's on a street, it offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend this place.

Service: The hotel's service is truly five-star. We were greeted by a staff member named Qingguo, who patiently escorted us from the parking lot back to the hotel and then thoroughly explained various touring strategies for Wuzhen. Environment: The hotel rooms are very spacious, and the hotel's gardens and pavilions are perfect for photos, so you don't have to go out and deal with crowds. Dining: For breakfast, the hotel offers two dining options, and we chose the one at 'Siyi'. The breakfast here is quite exquisite, what we'd call 'pretty food.' The interior environment is also very photogenic, so you can easily snap some pictures after your meal.

The exterior is a traditional Jiangnan water town residence, but the interior is a world of its own, with high-end facilities in every room. Stepping out, you're in misty Jiangnan; returning, you're in a luxurious manor. The contrast is striking and leaves a deep impression. Overall, the stay was very comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. I really appreciate the hotel arranging the boat check-in; it was a fantastic experience.

A Wonderful and Peaceful Stay in the Heart of Wuzhen The hotel is located inside the Wuzhen resort, right in the middle of the main walking street, making it very convenient for exploring the area. Despite its central location, the hotel is set within a fairly large compound, and our second-floor room was charming, peaceful and very quiet. Our room was exceptionally spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were assigned a personal assistant, Xiaojing (小静), who was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We connected with her through WeChat, so we could contact her anytime with questions about the hotel or arrangements within the resort. She took excellent care of us from the moment we arrived until our departure. Breakfast was also excellent, with a choice of three different set menus. We especially loved the fish noodles! The luggage porter service was extremely convenient too—we simply left our luggage with the staff, and it was transported through the resort and delivered directly to our room. Overall, we had a wonderful and highly satisfying stay. We would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wuzhen. The environment is simple yet luxurious, and the lobby has a great ambiance. The rooms are meticulously cleaned, even the corners are spotless, and there are no strange odors. Zora provides thoughtful and attentive service, proactively informing guests about hotel amenities and key local attractions. It made my stay feel secure and relaxing, perfect for both tourists and those on a temporary visit.

Accommodation: The facilities were well-maintained, and our room was clean, hygienic, and very comfortable. Dining: We thoroughly enjoyed the dining options, including the Chinese restaurant, the organic cafe, and the breakfast spread. The ingredients were fresh, which gave us peace of mind. Service: The service truly stood out – it was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, with staff always going the extra mile. A special mention to the cleaning staff: one housekeeper proactively offered me sanitary pads and brown sugar when she noticed I wasn't feeling well. Another time, during breakfast, the staff kindly helped me carry food to my table while I was holding my child. Family-Friendly Amenities: There's an indoor Montessori kids' club, which, while not huge, is a nice option. Right across from the hotel is an organic farm; it's perfect for a leisurely walk if the weather permits and has a lovely French chateau ambiance. Photography: We used the 'Qidu Travel Photography' service. They were very efficient and even gifted us three complimentary photos. We were extremely pleased with the results!

Transportation: Pujiin is located outside the ancient town, directly opposite the ancient town's tourist service center, just across the road. Hotel Service: I really have to commend the hotel's strict rules and regulations. The staff meticulously enforce them, which was almost too ”friendly” for a family trip. We booked two king rooms, one for two adults and one child, and the other for one senior and two children. Upon check-in, we were told that each room only provided two adult tickets. Even for the senior and two children who qualified for preferential policies, they stated, ”Our adult tickets are counted per person, regardless of whether you're an adult or a senior/child with a preferential ticket.” So, we had to purchase additional tickets at the front desk or buy them ourselves. Despite having three children, no children's amenities were proactively provided. By the time we remembered, it was quite late. The children had no slippers or dental kits and had to use the adults'. In the morning, before entering the dining room, we were stopped and asked for our room number. Before even finishing counting the people, they started saying we had exceeded the limit and needed to pay extra (only two adults and three children, one of whom was under 120cm, had arrived at the restaurant first). I went to the restaurant after checking my luggage. After giving my room number, the staff told me it was full and I needed to pay extra. Maybe I'm just cheap, but I decided to leave and forgo breakfast. Finally, I have to complain about the bathroom design. Perhaps it's an issue with the rooms on our side? After putting down the bath mat in the shower, the door couldn't close. When the bathroom door was opened, it blocked the sink. If someone was using the sink, you couldn't open the door to enter, which was very inconvenient.

I have been to the small town of Puyuan many times. Every time I go, I choose Meishang Hotel. The service is as excellent as always. This time I traveled during off-peak hours and it was very quiet. The hotel also added a lot of personalized services, such as experiencing singing bowls and going to the gym. The experience is good. Xiao Yao from the hotel specially picked us up at the door and sent me the guide and weather information in advance. Very thoughtful!

Facilities: The room facilities live up to its design hotel status, with a bathtub and Bluetooth speaker. The amenities are all good. The pool and spa areas are very well-designed and look beautiful when lit up at night. Breakfast: The taste gets a 7/10, but the variety is a 5/10, quite limited. The à la carte beef noodles are delicious, but the other dishes are too few, and classic Chinese options are scarce. I hope for more choices. Cleanliness: Overall very clean. There are no obvious hygiene blind spots in the rooms or public areas. However, with many water features, some corners inevitably have a bit of dampness, and the wooden floors show their age. Environment: The hotel itself is a scenic spot. White walls, gray tiles, and numerous waterscape courtyards make for great photos from any angle. It blends perfectly with Wuzhen's江南 water town aesthetic. It's not far from the Xizha Scenic Area, just a few minutes' drive. Service: Butler Kevin's service is top-notch, very enthusiastic. Food delivery can even be brought to the room, and housekeeping responds promptly. However, on the second day, the room cleaning didn't include changing the duvet cover, just a simple bed making. There was a welcome fruit platter upon check-in, and a small farewell gift upon check-out – very thoughtful. Overall, my evaluation of this hotel is excellent. The design is fantastic. If you just want to quietly stay in Wuzhen for a couple of days and not go anywhere else, this is definitely the place to choose. I highly recommend it.
