Facilities: The hotel's infrastructure is quite comprehensive. My only minor complaint is the lack of a gym; even having two treadmills would be great for people dealing with jet lag, but unfortunately, there's nothing at all.
Hygiene: The hygiene is excellent, clearly reflecting very standard hotel management.
Environment: It's directly opposite the train station, and there's a food court just a short walk away. Plus, the supermarket downstairs and the trains are all very convenient.
Delightful little hotel in a quiet but easily accessible area of Budapest.
Rooms were clean, nice and warm. Heating could be adjusted to your own preference.
Paid for Breakfast consisted of a Coffee of choice and two delicious warm croissants.
There is a private courtyard for Al fresco drinking or chilling out.
Highly recommend to friends and family.
Great central location, super convenient, right next to the famous New York Cafe. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, like a concert hall, very grand and ceremonial. The lobby is quite lovely too. My only minor complaint was at checkout; when I spoke to one of the receptionists, a Caucasian woman, she didn't even bother to look up. It was the other female receptionist next to her who actually helped me.
My girlfriend and I spent a weekend there. The staff were kind and helpful, the location was convenient, and the room was clean and well-maintained. Excellent value for money!
The apartment complex is located on the corner of two quiet side streets. The nearest metro station, Blaha Lujsa-ter, as well as the Keleti train station, are easily accessible on foot. The new building, completed in 2026, is naturally still in good condition, very clean, and was presumably intended for apartment rentals. The apartments that are currently vacant are being rented out to tourists like hotel rooms. The booked breakfast for two people for two days was already there upon arrival, but unfortunately, the portions weren't very generous and were eaten on the first day. It seems we were expecting two more portions for the following day... Well, a little diet never hurt anyone! What was practically non-existent was the Wi-Fi, which only connected for a few minutes at a time before disconnecting again. The furnishings were rather spartan, which is due to the intended use as long-term rentals – the future tenants are meant to furnish the apartment to their own taste. The fairly large eat-in kitchen, estimated at 25 square meters, didn't feel particularly inviting as a result. The bedroom, with the necessary minimum distance between the double bed and the walls, was very cozy. The bathroom had a shower head built into the bathtub – a real challenge for anyone who showers without flooding the bathroom. The small balcony shouldn't be forgotten; it offers enough space for two people to enjoy the fresh air – and it's also a good place to dry laundry and umbrellas.
Considering the many old, small, and worn-out hotel rooms out there, this is definitely a worthwhile addition, but not preferable to a true four-star hotel.
My recent stay at Bristol Budapest Hotel was an excellent experience from start to finish; I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest.
I arrived at around 02:00, and despite the late hour, check-in was completely seamless. The staff were clearly expecting me; this made the whole process quick and effortless; exactly what you want after a long journey.
The room itself was immaculately clean and very well presented. I appreciated the small touches; like the fridge stocked with a bottle of water, which can be replenished simply by taking it down to reception. The bed was very comfortable, with soft, high-quality linen that made for a great night’s sleep. There was also a good tea and coffee setup in the room; a welcome addition.
Even though my room faced the street, I slept with the window open and wasn’t disturbed by noise at all; something that really stood out. The bathroom was spacious enough, with plenty of clean towels and some lovely complimentary toiletries.
At one point I needed an iron and ironing board; reception provided both immediately without any fuss; which summed up the efficiency of the service throughout my stay.
Breakfast was a real highlight. I had seen some mixed reviews beforehand, but I genuinely don’t understand why. The selection was extensive; covering both continental and hot options. Everything was beautifully presented, tasted great, and was constantly replenished and well maintained. It was easily one of the best parts of my stay.
What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. Every single person I encountered was friendly, helpful, and welcoming; always with a smile. That level of hospitality made a big difference.
Overall, this is a solid and reliable option for anyone visiting Budapest; I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
An absolutely fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the room rate was great value for money. There's a supermarket nearby, and you can easily walk to many places from here. I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Budapest! The only minor downside was that the air conditioning wasn't very strong, but everything else was perfect! The whole place felt very new and modern.
Conveniently located and easy accessible with Tram.
I'd like to acknowledge and commend the service delivery of front desk staff - Ms Sophia for extending extra care and diligently handled all the hotel guests.
Always potray herself professionally and also elevate the service and check in experince.
Good work!
The room is incredibly spacious, even larger than suites in many high-end or luxury hotels. The service is excellent, and the breakfast pastries are top-notch. This is an absolute gem of a hotel, highly recommended! 👍
🏨🍳🛏️🌇🚆 After staying in Prague, Vienna, and Budapest, we found this hotel to be the best value of the trip.
The breakfast was decent and runs from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, with probably the best eggs we had during our whole stay across Central Europe. The hotel is very well situated — close to the train station and within walking distance to Old Town attractions, which made exploring easy.
The rooms are quite small, and we struggled a bit to fit all our luggage between the two of us, but the beds were extremely comfortable and we slept really well. Also worth highlighting is the excellent air conditioning in the rooms, which made a huge difference during the warmer days.

Amazing
MM618100****Boho is a boutique hotel with tasteful design and high service standards. The rooms are stylishly furnished, clean and spacious, and the king bed and large bathtub are comfortable. The location is excellent, the room is soundproofed and it is quiet even in the downtown area. Breakfast is good and the buffet selection is very rich. Our room includes free experience of hotel spa, fitness.
The hotel is very close to the Freedom Bridge. It takes about 7 minutes to walk. Nearby is the university, with the Hungarian National Museum. There is also a delicious pancake fruit shop Hi Bing.
GGuest UserChoosing Amberlyn Suite Hotel for our Budapest trip was the best decision! The location is superb, nestled in a quiet neighborhood yet incredibly convenient. We could easily walk to several major attractions and metro stations, and there were tons of restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel's decor is very stylish, modern yet cozy. What truly stood out was the service; the front desk staff were not only welcoming but also offered incredibly professional and authentic local tips. We felt right at home.
RRenewed Health & WellnessThis gem of a boutique hotel was so reasonably priced, and just 4 mins from the Metro & trams. Airport bus pick up/drop off is 10 min walk. The hotel arranged a private minibus transfer from the airport as we didn't land till v late.
The staff are so unbelievably helpful.
The breakfast is plentiful and there's complimentary coffee served all day and someetimes pastries too.
The rooms are spacious and immaculate and beds v comfortable.
Would highly recommend
KkobeleungI stayed here for 5 days, and there was no replacement of toilet tissue and towels until I contacted the WhatsApp service agent. The location is great, but there were no coffee capsules, instant coffee, or tea bags available, despite having a coffee machine and a kettle as typically provided in an apartment. When I requested the crooked toilet lid to be fixed, I had to wait until the last day (4 days in total) with no resolution, which posed a safety risk. Overall, the price is not cheap, and the service is mediocre.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right downstairs from the Red Line Metro and tram station. It's less than 20 minutes to Fisherman's Bastion and other attractions. The room was quiet, and the hot water was plentiful and heated up quickly. Breakfast was quite rich. The gym was a bit small, but the view was nice, allowing me to relax my eyes while running. The only downside was that I had requested a late check-out on the last day, but the next morning, the housekeeping manager said there was no record and wouldn't agree. After much persuasion, they only allowed me to extend for one hour.
GGuest UserThe manager is great, kind, and helpful.
The receptionists are untrained and unhelpful.
Definitely needs improvement.
The breakfast is decent, but the female staff is distracted and inefficient, except for one woman at 13-5 Men, a helpful and kind guy.
Renovation work next door is causing disruption.
SSiuzanEverything is great.. Next time we will definitely stay here.
The room has everything you need. Washing machine, washing capsules, iron, ironing board, refrigerator, kitchen utensils.. In general, you can live peacefully..
We checked in late at night. The keys to the room were in a small safe with a code. They sent us the instructions for checking in in advance with all the passwords and addresses).
The location of the hotel is quite comfortable..it is not noisy under the windows at night.
TTobySiuI’m so amazed by the quality I get for such a low price. The staff replied quickly to my questions. However, you need to check in again using their own portal and then you need to reserve a credit card for them in case of damages. There’s air conditioning in the room so it’s perfect. Even there’s a washing machine with a washing pod ready for you.
JJuli0318Overall
Enjoyed staying at this place. Cozy and safe and located in the centre. easy access to almost all the tourist attractions.
A bit noisy at night but I could rest without any problems.
The hotel entrance is difficult to find. It is between the bank and burger king
Cleanliness
Not sure what kind of daily cleaning was available but I could get fresh towels and I could ask to empty the bin.
They are very nice but I asked to hoover the room, which wasn’t available…
Facilities
Shower pressure is good. Hot water is hot enough to relax.
For the kettle, it is not set in the room. You need to ask at the reception desk.
