NIK the Greek

We had an absolutely outstanding meal for New Year's Eve and our family was so impressed. The food quality, taste, and service were so high, we love the atmosphere here and it is like visiting our Greek family, not that we have one. The food is made with love and amazingly, they surpassed themselves on last year's food. Incredible flavours and for a few hours, we felt like we were in Greece. Thanks for all you do Nik, you and the family put your heart and soul into everything! I highly recommend eating here!

Unfortunately I stayed over Christmas 2024 for three nights, room No 5 smelt of damp, the view out of the window was of a flat roof with a industrial expel air from the kitchen below, the window had a broken wooden blind, the bed and mattress was of poor quality there were no draws to use for your clothes and on the second night & morning the central heating together with the hot water failed…I checked out after 2 nights….would I use this accommodation again…. NO, NO, NO !

Stayed the night above the restaurant and the accommodation was superb, lovely, clean, spacious and cozy room that suited us down to the ground. We booked a table at the restaurant and were greeted by a waiter (didn’t get his name) who was very welcoming and accommodating throughout the evening. Nik the chef and owner obviously has a passion for food as the meze we had was superb both in taste and presentation. All In all good value for money, the other food that came out to other tables looked mouth watering as well. We met Nik and had a nice chat (and shot) at the end of the evening, nice fella who is doing a great job along with his partner Laura. Definitely recommend this place to both stay and eat at, we’ll defo be returning and hope to take the large bottle of ouzo in the shop away with us next time! Excellent find for a wonderful lunch. Very helpful staff and the food was so good. We had pita bread wrap, the pita was best I’ve ever tasted. Hubby had trio of dips which again were lovely. Highly recommend and we will certainly return

Myself and my partner, have been twice now for a meal, the staff are attentive, very friendly and the food is amazing, it's a hidden gem. I would put the titles of the dishes down of what we had But I can't remember how to spell them. :) Just to say it's awesome and I'm booking another meal for family visiting.

I contacted the venue to make a last minute booking and they were very accommodating. The menu had traditional Greek cuisine with a cafe selection also available. The wine and the cuisine - amazing! The service was excellent! We also had a tour of the gift shop where we were personally introduced to Nik, who told us the story of how the restaurant was founded.
