The 2-rooms apartment was very spacious, equipped with washing machine, basic kitchen appliances. The location is great, within the walking distance to waterfront.

Love this hotel. 15 minute walk to Victoria and Alfred Hotel by the wharf, lots of things to do, places to eat, close to banks with ATM, close to shop. Ots got its own restaurant, you can order room service, they have a 7 day Happy Hour from 5-7, good breakfast buffet. Room with a balcony, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, pots n pans, plates, etc like you are in a condo. My room has a huge living room and dining, King size bed, tv in bedroom and living room. Most of all the staffs are all professional, helpful and very nice, especially the Manager Zilu - superb customer service! Zora, Tyrone, Gode and Unathi and many others that I cannot remember their names ❤️ I love this hotel 👍
Response from Property: Dear maricelf438, Thank you for sharing about how much you enjoyed your stay during your recent visit. I am pleased that our location, spacious apartments and personal serviced helped to ensure that you had a memorable holiday. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. I stayed in a one-bedroom apartment for two weeks. It was lovely and had everything you needed for a longer stay. The photos you see online are the same as the room itself. It was nice to have a balcony and let some fresh air in. The people at reception always had smiles on their faces, and so did the security staff at the front of the hotel. It is so nice to be greeted with a lovely hello and big smile from the staff each day. I used the hotel gym nearly every morning. It was small, but it served the purpose I wanted. As the apartment rooms are pretty big, I could also do a workout in my room. The breakfast was nice each day, and the service was amazing. I only drink herbal tea, and most places I go overseas do not have the tea I drink, so I bring my own. Each day, Goge knew I had my tea bag and would come and grab it from me every morning to make me a pot of tea, which was so sweet and lovely. My only suggestion is to have instructions on how to use the washing machine/dryer in each room as they are not all the same. Reception had instructions but I had a different model, so it was not applicable. I couldn’t quite figure out the dryer, so the lovely Dylan came and showed me how to use it to me and my colleague. As I was going to be at a conference all day, he came and removed my clothes from the dryer and folded them so they would not sit in the dyer all day, which was lovely of him. Overall, it was an excellent stay.

Great location, walking distance from Waterfront! We stayed in this hotel for about 15 Days! The reason I selected the hotel because its apartment style self catering structure was adequate for a long stay. I have to say the hotel needs a bit of TLC; furniture is outdated and few items on the verge of breaking. The hotel is very clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast Team was great and they use to make oats for me when asked.

I booked this hotel because the Westin was 3x more expensive, but I was disappointed by it. Rooms are really apartments so they are large. I was in the 4th floor and there was lots of noise from upstairs, breakfast was a little mediocre. Front staff was kind but not very resourceful. I had an accident with my hand and I was given no doctor options and they could hardly find a first aid kit, not a lot of self-drive there. I checked out 2 weeks ago, and still waiting for them to process the credit card charge so I will have issues expensing the stay. All in all, quite mediocre and won't stay here again

My entire stay was stellar! The check in process couldn't be easier. The rooms are exactly as shown on the website, were immaculate and well-functioning. Security was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was amazing. We ate there almost every night of our stay! By choice!!! Every member of staff made us feel welcomed and at home. The hotel is perfectly located for walking to the Waterfront, Bo Kaap, District 6, the palace, etc.--and I am not a person who enjoys walking! While I wouldn't recommend walking the area at night (nor would I for any other major city in the world), as two female tourists, we felt perfectly safe walking throughout the CBD during the day.
Response from Property: Dear shoobootie1, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are pleased that you enjoyed our spacious apartment and that our restaurant offered welcoming service and good food. It is great to hear that you found our location ideal to explore the all the surrounding areas. We look forward to welcoming you back on you next visit to the Mother City. If you want to experience how a hotel from a large chain should be run properly this is the place to go. Not 5 star but much better than many 4 & 5 star hotels we have stayed at. Rooms (apartments) are fully equipped, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a great standard. Location is excellent – easy walk or Uber to Waterfront and other areas. The staff were helpful and friendly to the last man/woman. The couple of times we needed to call someone (e.g. trying to figure out how to operate a very complex Bosch washing machine) we got immediate and effective attention.
Response from Property: Dear McGlobal, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are pleased that our spacious and fully equipped apartments offered you the comfort to relax. You compliments regarding breakfast and the friendly service your received from the team has been shared accordingly to encourage the team to continue to offer personalized experiences. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next trip. Sincerely, ConradJ General Manager

I spent a week here for a work trip, and I have to say that it was an excellent stay. The bedroom - I had one several floors up - was large, quiet and spacious. The room cleaning was excellent every day, and the way the bed was made absolutely perfectly every day is difficult to find, so it was very welcome at the Protea North Wharf. The breakfast was plentiful and I appreciated the eggs station, and also the ability to sit outside on warm mornings with a coffee. Ubers were easy to get most days. The pool was welcome on hot days.
Response from Property: Dear disgrun, Thank you for your review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and that the our large apartment and daily housekeeping added to your comfort. I look forward to sharing your compliment regarding breakfast with the restaurant team. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit to Cape Town. Sincerely, ConradJ General Manager

We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a two bedroom apartment with a balcony. It was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The air con worked perfectly and we were not affected by load shedding. There were large, comfortable sofas and a great kitchen. Breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. There was an on site beauty salon, which had reasonable prices. The pool was disappointing -shaded and bleak. Our balcony too lacked any furniture. The hotel was in the business district so a short Uber ride from the Waterfront. There was a pleasant Italian restaurant opposite the hotel.

I would give this hotel a better than very good rating if not for the air conditioning. We could not get our room cooler than about 75F even after visits from staff maintanence. The rooms are fabulous and the staff is great. Good food and drinks. Just bad AC.

Wow what a well run hotel, The staff here work very very hard and do things quickly. The front desk will handle any request with great haste. Yasmin Gault was extremely helpful. The breakfast staff are all very friendly and attentive. The breakfast itself is minimal in its variety but maximal in its quality. Was extremely convenient and was included in our rate. The rooms were comfortable and very large. We got two rooms and Yasmin was able to keep both of them together. The cleaning crew is quite expeditious and able to help too. Finally, the location of this hotel is ideal for Cape Town travelers. It’s in the central business district and is walkable to just about everywhere in the city. This was a great stay!

Just stayed here for 10 nights and would highly recommend it. The location was perfect, about 20 minutes walk to the waterfront. This means it’s quiet at night, unlike the hotels at the waterfront yet near enough to all the major sights and 2 minutes from a hop on bus stop that takes you everywhere. The rooms are massive & very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Has a small kitchen with a washing machine (which looked new), oven, dishwasher. Shower was good and has a bath as well. Can’t fault the breakfast and we also had some evening meals as well which were very tasty. Don’t forget happy hour between 5 and 7, lovely wine at great value. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Really cannot fault this hotel and we had a great stay here. My one little gripe is lack of decent pool. If just the hotel had the whole roof space, put some plants, sunbeds and better pool up there, this would really be the icing on the cake. The pool as it is, is not inviting and doesn’t get used. But otherwise, it’s an excellent hotel and it would be our first choice if we visited CT again.
