No WiFi service. Complimentary or welcome goodies like fruit and bottled water would have been nice. Quite expensive accommodation but you're paying for prime location, that's all. Staff were super friendly and helpful just a very tired and run down place.

Hotel office that is to say without meals or breakfast but they can clean if you wish, it is included in the price. Large comfortable room with equipped kitchen and above all with a view and an exceptional location. This makes up for the dilapidated side of the bathroom. The receptionist, whose name I have forgotten, is adorable, she speaks English clearly and distinctly, remarkably polite and simple, she can organize an excursion for you and can give you good advice. The title says it all really. Staff were very helpful and location is top notch but the place is in need of some TLC but I understand the owner has 'a plan' for that. As it is on the main road through Camps Bay, it can be noisy in the evenings.

This was our second time at The Place, which has an outstanding situation on Camps Bay, friendly staff and allocated (if tight) parking. For two couples the Penthouse was ideal, with lots of space and great views, though in the absence of a functioning lift - perhaps because of load shedding, but no explanation was forthcoming) - a rather testing stair climb for retirees. Stylish furnishings of yesteryear, and some gloomy corners, but overall a hugely enjoyable place to stay.

The location is very good, just on the water line. The kitchen is quite poorly equipped, maybe counting on the many restaurants around. Risk of noisy 'neighbours ' due to the circular structure of the place

We had the best view of the beach and so much to choose from with food options. The apartment we stayed is was absolutely gorgeous and clean. We never had an issue and we had asked to check out an hour later and the staff were so understanding we absolutely loved our stay ☺️

The property is well placed next to the beach. It's clean. It's suitable for people who like to cook since it's self catering. Also there restaurants nearby if do not like cooking. I will definitely book the place again if I visit Cape Town again.

We had a lovely long weekend as a family in Camps Bay, the accommodation was really great at Place on the Bay, the location is perfect, easy access to restaurants and the beach. Would definitely recommend the accommodation and return for sure!
