You may find this humble hotel serves a very nice hospitality. This hotel location is easy to reach. The receptionist promptly assists us on check in and out. The room is renovated, comfort, clean and spacious. Special touch in the room while you check in; the praying corner, the barcode for ordering room service, the welcoming arrangement (art towel, fruit, special printed welcoming note with guest picture). Love the view from the room. Food and beverages served in restaurant. The taste is so authentic homey Minang food and Chinese food – all tasty. You may find the various dishes. All Halal food and beverages. Love the bubur sumsum (rice flour porridge served with palm sugar), lontong sayur (rice cake with curry veggie soup). You will get lucky, when this hotel holds a special event, such as inviting the Indonesia Master Chef who live cooks in front of the guest. This hotel also has the masjid for pray, and 2 halls for meeting or special event.

Decent room in terms of cleanliness and size it's suitable for business travelers. Great service from the staff starting from security to receptionists to housekeepers. I really had a great time staying at Holiday Inn Express Matraman. The only downside on the other hand was the breakfast. The food was not delicious. Staff working at the restaurant were nice however the food was disappointing in my opinion.

Short vacation in Jakarta and staying at the Whiz Cikini hotel, was very impressive with a friendly reception at check-in by Mas Doni,giving a warm welcome and sweet smile upon arrival. The size of the room is quite large and the simple decoration of the room made us rest well. The delicious breakfast made us more excited to continue our waiting activities. This is the WORST hotel I've stayed in Indonesia. Although I was upgraded to a suite (Marriott Titanium), the suite is actually a downgrade from the standard (renovated) rooms! They refuse to downgrade you to a better room! From Check in to check out it was a total nightmare! The reception turned up 15 minutes after I arrived at 2am and it was like they were doing me a favour to check in. Further calls during the stay to reception (if answered) took between 20-30 minutes to action anything. Asking for fresh towels? Budget an hour. The room looks nothing like the pictures - Tiles are cracked, the bathroom is from the 60's - you are lucky if you can get a shower with regular temperature water. The room is a sauna - which is great for people who like hot rooms, aside from the putrid smell, the air conditioner is set to 26 degrees, The fixtures are all dirty - from the desk to the light switches, there was actually Red Sambal on the light switch after the housekeeping serviced the room. There is dirt everywhere and the management doesn't care! It's not about the hotel being old - there are many older hotels in Jakarta which have maintained a fantastic standard, don't expect that if you choose to stay here!

Room - average(request for non smoking but give me smoking room at level 2. Corridor really can smell the smoke)
Room outside view - very bad(level 2 room window facing concrete wall and you cant see anything other than concrete...what a view!)
Location - very good since its nearby to the shopping mall and a lot of place to eat there

Was here for 1 night , room was clean no smell , receptionist so welcoming and polite especially mr fakri or fikri i forgot, he’s so nice though.
Otherwise still hear people from another rooms, but im ok with that, and at night still hear about motocicle and car because so near with the road. Not recommended if you bring your own car bcs the parking lot not available. Not recommended about the massage as well , it’s just the lady need more training about massages. Overall about the room and place so nice, near from restaurant. With the affordable price , is worth to stay thanks

I am from pt. I seeing stay at Hariston hotel. I think I am this hotel I recommend. When I have breakfast at Delima restaurant I was welcomed open Wulan and then I was served good dental open Novi, Febi and Helmi. The other staff are also very friendly and very helpful. Thank you Hariston hotel.

This is my first time trying Pan Pacific, and it was a terrible experience.
I have always been a fan of Pan Pacific and Parkroyal hotels. In fact, a few days ago, I was at Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur, and the experience was awesome. But at this Pan Pacific, the service was terribly slow. I asked a simple question about their food, but they only returned my call after two hours! Luckily, Plaza Indonesia is nearby, so I could book some food.
The food at the club is for those who are tired of 'Indonesia.' It's too westernized. There should be more options.
As for the room, I am deeply disappointed as their TV couldn't connect with my phone, so there wasn't much entertainment. I called twice to ask, but they were unsure about it and didn't bother to come to the room to check. I went down to the counter and told them I was going out and wanted the TV fixed when I returned. Unfortunately, it was still the same. I ended up watching from my iPad. Even the radio/speaker wasn't working.
Additionally, I was promised a free gift but couldn't figure out what it was.
Then again, they just opened, so I can't blame them entirely. I just think they're not ready yet for customers.
To be fair, some areas they did well:
- The shower experience was really good.
- I requested a birthday setup, and they were able to cater with banners and a cake, nicely presented.
- Club facilities such as gym, swimming and steam room were great as well
I wanted to return to Pan Pacific tomorrow but had to cancel the plan. I hope Parkroyal Service Suites will be better tomorrow.

GGuest UserI visited Mercure Sabang with my 4 years old and my mother of 84 years old. Both of them were very happy, my son loved the kids activity on Sunday morning, my mother enjoyed the breakfast and become gourmand (at home she doesn't eat much anymore). It was maybe a combination of good food, perfect lighting and friendly ambiance in the resto. Me and my son love the pool, it was in the perfect depth (1.3m), not too deep but not too shallow either. The room was spacious, we took the type of privilege room, the bed and pillows was super comforting, and everything was so clean. One advise, if you are a non smoker, request non-smoking room and floor immediately, We checked in a bit late so the 1st night I need to chose between having a king size bed in a smoking floor/room or twin bed in the non-smoking one. I was then chose the twin bed and move to other room with king size bed in non smoking floor, because the smell of cigarettes in the smoking room-floor was so strong. It is a good thing for the smokers I think, because not many hotels have a smoking room nowadays. So overall i would say that Mercure Sabang is 10/10. Will surely revisit.

Room is very spacious and cosy. Got the smoking room on level 8. Hotel interior and exterior looks like a 5 star hotel. Was so nice of the Front Desk who upgraded me for free.
Didn’t manage to try the breakfast.
Free laundry for you to do it ON YOUR OWN. They provide detergent and there’s dryer too.
Everything about this hotel is good. From the staffs, location, interior etc. Book it!

GGuest UserReally appreciate with all staff and all services Hotel. New newness hotel near central of Jakarta and Tanah Abang. I recommend the room with swimming pool, nice and calm situations. The first day is really good, even the noise come from beside room, and you can asked for moving room (the reception ana will give you as long they still have available room) Breakfast very crowded and no one staff restaurant take the dirty plates glass on your table😤 its like you self serving. But so far the hotel really good. I like the lobby interior, they have guci at the coridor room. The smell really good at every area hotel.

GGuest UserWe visited this hotel 2 weeks ago, receptionist greeted us with smile, booking process only need several minutes, there is comfortable lobby for waiting and very wide pool. We booked suite room because its the biggest room for us to take maternity photo and there is bathup with nice night city view. BBQ night dinner taste was awesome with butter rice, various fresh fish, sirloin corner, salad bar and lot of desserts. Breakfast taste is good and mostly indonesia traditional food, you should try their porridge. Dental kit using great quality with branded toothpaste. Checkout process very fast and after that we go to pasar baru with 3 minutes walk. Special thanks for receptionist staff and restaurant staff for your friendly services. GGuest UserService was top-notch! From concierge to housekeeping, every service point was exceptional! Commendable mention goes to Arsyad from Front Desk who assisted us at every turn... From helping us sort out an area to meet our Local team to helping us with our odd requests... He did it all with a smile and made us feel welcome and safe with his warm personality... The 17th floor Housekeeping from May 28 to June 2nd was also incredibly attentive... My room was always how I wanted it without my need to inform them... Property itself is clean, well-maintained, and they were careful with the sanitising as we exit the pandemic... Unfortunately it misses on 5 star as there was no room service available for when we were hungry and weren't wanting to Grab food... Otherwise it is truly hard to fault this property... Keep up the 5* service!

BBrianHotel building and lobby looked nice enough. Checking in was a breeze.
Room hallway looks old and gloomy, reminded me of my dormitory days but with better colours.
Bedroom didn't have much space, but was still tolerable. The wallpapers had yellowing/dried leak marks.
Washroom was tiny and all the drains (sink & shower) are very slow at draining. And no lock for the washroom.
The worst was the lighting, i turned off the lights while sleeping, woken up to a room fully lit with tv on maybe a couple hours later. I thought i might have accidentally pressed a button while sleeping. Turned everything off and went to sleep again, then same thing happened again. In total this happened 3 or 4 times, too tired and sleepy to care.
I didn't bother complaining because it happened between the middle of the night to dawn. Even if I did complain the possible solutions would be to send a technician or switch me to a better room, and neither is desirable. I was on a one night business trip with full schedule both days.
Breakfast was nice, plenty of options, but the service wasn't so good. When i was showed to my table, the host asked if i wanted coffee or tea, I picked coffee. Went around to take my breakfast, came back to table and coffee wasn't there. Then not long after i started eating, a waiter came by and asked if i wanted coffee or tea, said coffee. 5 minutes later another waiter came by if I wanted coffee or tea..again. Finally got my coffee a good 15mins later, I should've just gotten a cup myself.
Asked for sunny side ups, eggs came after i finished my plate, about the same waiting time with coffee and the egg station was empty when I ordered.
I'm sorry but I don't think this was a 5-star hotel, and the price wasn't worth it.
I believe the problem with light was caused by the room card slot right to turn on the power. Must've gone wrong and failed to detect a card in the slot and shut everything off, then suddenly detected the card again, hence all power and light kept turning back on.
Won't be staying there again
Hallway picture doesn't look that bad in picture, because my phone decided to make it look nicer by auto-adjusting the light level, much darker in reality

IIscaThe stay was okay..the great thing the location is nearby with the menteng street food. Ms was really helpful and very kind staff for assisting me during my check in.
