Really great hotel! Staff were very helpful and super lovey! Room was amazing, and nice and warm on arrival specially as it was super cold in Chicago! Room and bathroom was clean, and even had a mini fridge to store snacks you might have bought during the day. Pillows were actually really comfy too! One down side is the gym equipment is a little outdated. I booked this particular hotel as it had a fitness center but it’s very outdated and the pins on the weights were really hard to moved/were jammed, and one of the treadmills had a dip on the middle of it when you walk on it which feels unstable. Still super great greatful they offer equipment though and great to get a little workout in on holiday!

A classic Hi USA hostel. For 400 RMB, getting a bunk in the South Loop is something to be grateful for. The location is excellent: a bus stop is just across the street to the south, a metro station to the north, and Grant Park to the east. Most major attractions are even within a 20-minute walk. The water dispenser is only on the second floor, which is quite inconvenient. Having to go downstairs every time to get water is a bit of a hassle. The downsides are clear: the decor is a bit dated, and there are no bed curtains. Plus, it's right next to the elevated Loop 'L' train tracks, so the noise is noticeable. Those with poor sleep quality will have a tough time. Personally, I don't mind; it's part of Chicago's character. There are lockers in the room for your belongings, just remember to bring your own lock. Each room has a sink outside the door, with separate bathrooms and toilets. The bathrooms are equipped with shower gel and shampoo, and amenities are restocked promptly. However, the shower water pressure in the room is insufficient. I also tried the communal showers, and the water pressure there was much better than in the room, making for a much more comfortable wash. The cleaning staff are efficient, promptly removing dirty towels and emptying trash cans. The front desk staff are very friendly, and you can ask them for fresh towels even late at night. In summary: For 400 RMB, what more can you ask for from a bunk bed within the Loop?

It was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in the US so far. Good for the price and the staff are super nice and helpful. I liked the free drink vouchers and the bar food too. I’d definitely stay here again if I travel to Chicago again.

The service was very good. A Chinese male waiter at the front desk was very nice and helped us a lot. He arranged a very good lake view room for us. The location and environment are very good. Recommended.

Excellent location, within walking distance to nearby attractions. Plus, the hotel offers great views, including Navy Pier.

The room is very narrow and the hotel is a bit old. There is a public lounge area for coffee, tea and work. It is next to the Chicago River and is quite noisy. There are many tourist buses at the door.

At first, we had a problem about the room being not ready for check in. However, the staff gave us the king size bed. The location is good not far from the metro and walkable distance to downtown. The main problem for our stay was the very cold weather. Good stay.

The hotel is in a prime location, next to the Michigan Bridge, next to the beautiful Londonhouse. It is a long and narrow building with a small facade. There are two hotels inside. The 20th to 40th floors are CQ, and the 20th floor and below are the river hotel. You can walk down to the river and take a boat. You can walk to Millennium Park and Navy Pier. The north-facing rooms face the Trump Tower and overlook the bridge on the Michigan River and the ships coming and going. The rooms are simple and suitable for tourists who are looking for cost-effectiveness. There is a self-service coffee machine on the second floor, where you can rest and watch TV. There are desks and chairs suitable for business guests. I didn't see many Asians during my stay.

The room has a great view and the location is quite good too. You can easily walk to the Magnificent Mile and it's not far from anywhere. The service attitude was also good. I'll probably book here again next time I visit!
