Find the Cheap La Fortuna Hotels

This hotel was unlike any hotel I have stayed in the past. There are so many positives. Nothing is all good. I was allowed to check in early which was wonderful. Staff was welcoming on arrival. I booked through **********. I was asked about my welcome drink and massage discount. I don't know if this was a mistake on the booking website. Never had this happen before. There isn't an elevator on the second floor. The rooms use traditional keys. The safe uses a key too. The room is spacious with a nice balcony. There is a refrigerator and a small coffee maker. The wifi in the room is spooky. It usually works on the balcony. There is a nice trail at the hotel. There is a nice pool and spa. The breakfast opens at 7 am. Some activities pick you up by 7. The breakfast has a lot of choices. There is an omelette bar. For the most part, I didn't really like the breakfast. It's about a 10 minute walk to other stores or restaurants. It isn't far but there isn't a sidewalk. I didn't care for the food in the restaurant ( it's usually empty). Plan accordingly. The bed is comfortable. You are surrounded by beautiful nature. You wake up to chirping. It is serene. The housekeepers make animals out of your towels. I have only seen that on cruises. That was a plus. The front desk will help you with tours. I had a tour I booked cancel last minute. They called and got me set up for another tour. This hotel is really unlike any hotel I have ever stayed in. I am glad I came. No place is perfect.

I visited the hotel for 3 nights with my wife. What an amazing experience we had! The couples rooms are extremely private, with an outdoor shower and a private jacuzzi on the balcony....the balcony is completely surrounded by deep forest, so its 100% private. Rooms have a a direct view of the volcano and the jungle. Its honestly impossible not to relax in this hotel. My only caveats about this hotel are the following: 1) There is a price to pay for sleeping in the middle of the jungle - the place is ~20 minutes away from town were all the restaurants and main attractions are...so either have a car, or be prepared to spend a bunch of money on cabs and arranges transportation 2) The breakfast options are not great, this is the only bad thing i have to say about the hotel experience. You will have basically the same limited options each morning 3) The path to the rooms is quite hilly - people with mobility issues might have a challenging experience (although the hotel personnel is EXTREMELY accommodating, and they have golf carts available to move you around). Thus, there is a very viable solution for people with limited mobility...just do consider the situation when booking. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitively recommend it!

He claims that the seven-star hot spring resort hotel is very comfortable, the room is clean, the pillows are very comfortable, the bedding is very soft, and the two bottles of pure water are given. The orchid room I live in is very Comfortable, the curtain is a volcano, with free breakfast, breakfast is very good, the bathroom is very luxurious, double sink, the most important thing is the service is very good, there is free gym and swimming pool, but in fact these are not the focus, the biggest focus is outdoor The hot springs, where people and nature are united, need to be called the hotel shuttle to arrive in about 3 minutes, but it will not be a quarter of an hour. You can enjoy the VIP area when you live in the hotel. The name of the area is actually written in Chinese, Shangri-La, hot spring antiques, Many waterfalls descend from the mountains. Your most important thing is to enjoy life. There are many people during the day. At night, there are fewer people, so you can feel in the hot springs. Starry sky, the volcano is very beautiful and very comfortable, there are the sound of waterfalls, the feeling of intoxication, the hot springs, bars, buffets, etc., for everyone, you can also take a bath here, if the outside person wants to go about 100 dollars or so, In fact, it is more cost-effective to rent a hot spring. The hotel lobby is also very beautiful, the waiter's clothing is very formal, this is the best hotel I have lived in this trip, if you drive out to eat, about 20 minutes drive has a Chinese restaurant is also good.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights as part of a trip with GAdventures booked through trail finders in the UK. We were checked in to what I think must have been the worst room in the hotel. It was at the back and over looked a side alley. We quickly showered and went to meet our group for dinner. When we got back, we noticed this god- damn awful smell which was coming from the drains and the water hadn't drained from our shower a few hrs earlier. Drains are notoriously bad across CR. We went to reception and the guy couldn't have cared less. We insisted he come and smell for himself. Well, he just couldn't have been more patronising or belittling. He said he couldn't smell it, he accused us of 'just showering' when we showed him the water and refused to do anything ie is clear the smell or move us. He said quite clearly numerous times, the hotel was full. We were left with no choice than to contact our Rep. Strangley enough we were given a different and much better room immediately. When we left, a lady came to our bus, thanked us for our custom and said they are a family run hotel. Clearly explained why the chap on reception couldn't give a hoot - he was hardly going to be sacked! Young ish guy, curly hair tied back in a pony tail. Poor Ester who came to say goodbye has no idea. He best things about this hotel are the friendly staff in the bar below, the view of the volcano from the terrace, and its only a shirt walk from the best place to eat in town- the rainforest cafe opposite (and Andreas is the best server!) but apart from that, I'd avoid it at all costs

I loved this hotel in which we stayed as a family for seven days. The views are breathtakingly beautiful (website photos don't do it justice at all) and everything is just so easy because of the exceptional help of the hotel staff who will take care of anything you could possibly need. The tours organized in partnership with this hotel are extraordinary and we did almost all of them. The beauty of the place and the accommodations (living and service) were exemplary. To testify further, when I left, it seems I had forgotten my laptop, and before I had even realized this and fallen into complete panic, the hotel staff contacted me through what's app to make arrangements to currier it to me in the hotel in San Jose we would be staying in the night before we catch our flight back to Canada. Thank you Jocy for saving me! I would have been lost without my laptop and you and the entire staff were truly exceptional. This place is spectacular. Don't miss it.

The Royal Corin is truly a 5 star Hotel . The all around Service is outstanding ! From the moment we walked out of our drivers vehicle we we treated as if we were the only guests staying on the property. All the staff went above and beyond taking care of all our needs the detail service is exquisite and that includes Bell Boy, Front Counter Staff, Restaurant Wait Staff, Pool Bartenders, they always addressed us by our names they always remained Professional and friendly while never compromising their detailed service . I must mention the Daily Breakfast spread was the best I’ve ever had . The selection of the fresh squeezed juices were delicious. We will definitely be back to be pampered in this amazing property and the next place we vacation will have very big shoes to fill. 💜💜💜

This was our second trip as a couple to Nayara in the past two years. Nayara is amazing and by far the best resort we've ever experienced. The landscaping is meticulous and beautiful, wide variety of wildlife including sloths and toucans, and the best staff anywhere (when you return 2 years later and you recognize staff, you know they are happy and cared for by management). We love Nayara and will be back again!

The room, service, and location where great! The breakfast buffet was very good!
