Booked a full board and food was up to expectations. However do note that drinks (alcohol, soft drinks and even water) are charged separately even under full board. The bed in the room was adequate and had a great unobstructed view of the coast.

This hotel is excellent we loved every part of it. Stayed in room 620 ideal for reception/pool (level 7) and restaurant (level five) the hotel is spotless the staff are excellent and the sound of the sea each evening is soothing. Tips The hotel is a bit of a distance to the main town it’s very hilly and we only went down once you can walk a kind of cliff path but it’s full of stairs which after a while kills you and gets very tedious. Go out of the hotel walk to the top road go right and you will see a walkway with steps follow them down (they are called the Agatha Christie steps as there is a statue as she had a house there each step has a book title on them) just keep following the road down to the sea front loads of shops and restaurants plus the lido ( which is due to open soon) you can either walk back or get a taxi (4/5 euros) we didn’t bother going again as the Main Street above the hotel had many bar’s restaurants and shops very reasonable priced excellent service not much of a party time if you like that kind of thing down town will be better for you. Food Breakfast is amazing plenty of choice and easy to get through Evening meal got board quickly so used only a couple of times drinks expensive and didn’t approve they charged for water you pay for drinks on the way out or you can charge money to your room and top up when it runs out we preferred to pay as we go drinks wise we preferred to eat out and give to local family business etc. The pool The rule is no personal towels you need to hire them from reception ten euros (refundable with receipt) to change for fresh one one euro exchange but we found we could use both our own and the hotels the reason they like you to use them to show that you are staying there and haven’t sneaked in. The bar is good very professional service. The room Lovely views over the sea the bathroom has been the best I have ever had abroad lives the multi shower lights and the screen window trick great fun to play with tv is crap so we always take a fire stick power lead and remote control Wi-Fi is very good the codes allow two devices per ticket but you can have as many as you like we had three tablets two phones and a fire stick don’t forget to put in the code for your fire stick to make it work you might not get every thing you get at home but it’s better than the tv without it We booked with jet2 excellent transfers etc the excursions we booked was the body trip up the side of the island we managed to see whales and dolphins I do warn it will be a long day 11.45 we left and didn’t get back until eight pm if you don’t like rough conditions sea wise this trip might not be for you as four plus hours on a boat feeling sea sick isn’t much fun there is chance to swim off the boat the food was a bit naff not to everyone’s taste take a jumper it can start to get cold. This was our third stay at Hotel Botanico, and we felt like we were returning 'home' after a gap of 2 years because of Covid. This is such a beautiful hotel, in a stunning, peaceful garden setting. The rooms are excellent, the staff are so friendly and helpful. Beautiful swimming pools and amazing spa facilities. There are lots of restaurants and bistros very close by, as well as the hotel's own restaurants, and a shuttle bus leaves for the main port just a 10 minute ride, which is full of restaurants, bars and shops etc. Jet 2 holidays were efficient, helpful, and all the arrangements worked.

We had a very pleasant week at La Carabela Hotel at the beginning of April. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly diverse; we especially valued all the fruit and veggies, i.g. oven-baked apples, fried bananas, aubergines and courgette, salad leaves and the sweet cakes. The cleaning of the rooms and making the beds were very excellent and took place often enough, so it was lovely to return in the evenings to a well-cleaned room (there might be a need to clean under the bed say once a week though). Although the open-air pool was not in use, we enjoyed swimming a few times in the covered pool, which is of course very handy should it rain. The view from our balcony towards Teide was breathtaking both during the day time and at night. The view from the roof terrace of the hotel was also very impressive and that area would be worth using more. Although there was a need for some repair work here and there (locks on the balcony and bathroom doors, shower handle), the overall feeling in the hotel was tidy and pleasant. The adjacent building was being renovated, but the construction noise did not bother us at all. The area where the hotel is located is nicely peaceful, but yet at a very short walking distance from a variety of shops and restaurants. Also we got a nice amount of exercise when walking down to the lower part of the town, to the beach and Lago Martianez, and then back up to the hotel.

The hotel H10 Tenerife Playa, is located in a great area, close to amenities. We stayed on the ground floor in a family room, consisting of 2 twin beds a single bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom had 2 sinks and the room had a fridge (unstocked). The safe was in the wardrobe, which was not fit for purpose. Its too narrow, I could not put my laptop inside it (please hotel manager CHANGE THE SAFES). The hotel buffet restaurant was fine for breakfast and dinner (did not go inside for lunch). They do not serve English Sausages, or English Bacon, unlike the Lanzarote Princess H10 hotel. Or waffles for that matter. Dinner was OK, always something to eat and was plentiful. The pool bar serves a la carte food and is served to your table. This area is undercover or outside area too. There is 2 pools (1 heated, sometimes warmer at times than other days). There is also a kids paddling pool, this was sometimes heated and other times not. There is a pool and table tennis table and darts board outside, which is good for you to use. Lots of organised activities of games during the day with the programme you can read close to the bar area. Sunbeds are plentiful, DO NOT put your towel down, before 8:50am otherwise it will be removed by the towel brigade. Happened to us once and we learnt very quickly!!!!!! If you are on Priviledge board then there are certain sunbeds they keep aside for these guests. (Bit of a joke really) and they are allowed these black/grey towels down or towel brigade put them down to stop anyone else using them. (Bloody Joke). Smoking, is a nightmare there, people smoking in the pool area, people can smoke outside in the outside pool bar, people smoking in permitted outside bar areas. Everywhere you go, smoke, smoke and bloody smoke. I write this outside the pool area, and SMOKE. I shallow breathe all day when its bugging me. GO AWAY AND SNOKE AWAY FROM OTHERS ITS NOT NICE. Please ban smoking in the hotel and put them in a corner where no one goes!!!!! The weather appears to be cloudy most mornings and does bubble up most afternoons. (Stick to the south of the island if you want Sun ALL DAY). I liked the hotel, but would not return due to smoking policy of hotel and weather of the north part.

My husband and I visited the Sol Costa Atlantis Hotel for a week in April 2024. We were very much looking forward to our stay at this particular hotel as having viewed it online, we thought it looked rather nice. Our arrival at the hotel was quite late due to having experienced a flight delay therefore, we were feeling quite tired, however, we found that the reception staff were not very welcoming or friendly, they just went through the process of getting us checked in, there was no ‘Welcome to our hotel, have you stayed with us before’, nothing of that nature, no welcome drink was offered. Once checked in, we went to our room which considering it was a 4* hotel, we were surprised at how basic the room was. We unpacked and tried to open the Safe to store our valuables. We were unable to open it so being tired, we decided to deal with everything the following morning. We were booked on a half board basis so, we got up the next morning to go for breakfast and both said how incredibly warm the room was and, because of the room temperature neither of us had slept well. We checked the air conditioning but were unable to deal with whatever the issue was. We then went for breakfast which, unfortunately, wasn’t great. We absolutely appreciate that with buffet food, due to it sitting, it can get cold quickly but, having said that, there were a lot of people staying at the hotel if the dining room was anything to go by which meant that the turnover of food from the buffet was quick so, I wouldn’t have expected the food to be as as cold as it was. Also, the toasters which were in the dining room, there just wasn’t enough of them and then, to make matters worse, when you put a slice of bread through the toaster you had to repeat the process 2 to 3 times as the bread wasn’t toasting!! Then we had the coffee machines of which you had to queue for a considerable length of time to get a coffee as again, for the amount of people, there weren’t enough coffee machines. After breakfast we went to reception to report the air conditioning issue. The chap with whom we spoke said he would get a maintenance person to fix whatever the issue was. We informed him we were out for the day so the technician could go into our room at any stage. We also asked about the Safe in our room to which the chap on reception advised that we would have to pay to use the safe. I was appalled to hear this saying to him ‘That’s daft, surely if there’s a safe in the room, it forms part of the room, it’s a bit like saying, there’s a wardrobe but you can’t hang your clothes in it until you pay to use it’. My view is if you’ve paid for a room, then you should have access to everything in that room especially the safe as it doesn’t cost the hotel any extra to allow guests access to the safe in their room!! After our day out, we came back to our room only to find that the air conditioning hadn’t been fixed much to our disappoin**ent and to make matters worse, when we reported it

Nice clean hotel, rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures. There is a kettle and fridge in the room you can ask at the bar for cups to make tea/coffee. Rooms are kept clean and tidy daily by house keeping and are alternated on a Saturday and Sunday. Day trips can be booked at reception and are cheaper than outside we realised this too late and could have saved ourselves 20€ on Siam water park. The pool is small and cold and you can’t use inflatables. There is a huge selection of pools along the sea front which you can access for 5€ each person, you can use the sun beds and stay all day. The restaurant is fast pace and I was surprised by the variety available for both breakfast and dinner, breakfast offers tea and juice with your food but only water with dinner. We was half board and that’s what was available to us. We are a family of 5 with one fussy eater and we were all more than happy with meal times. The bar sells a wide range of cocktails at a better price than the bars and restaurants outside. Staff are friendly and happy and will do their best to help. Just returned home and this was a wonderful family holiday that I will remember forever. Beautiful views and location was within easy access to shops bars and restaurants. The beaches are volcanic black sand and are rocky with lovely rock pools. Larger beaches are about 20 min walk away but the water was contaminated when we was there so you couldn’t go in the sea but the beaches were lovely to sunbathe on. Watch out for people selling fake bags they can be rude it’s not recommended to engage with them unless you are genuinely wanting to purchase a bag regardless of knowing the quality or price as looking is fuel for their persistent unpleasant pressure for you to buy there and then. Would highly recommend this holiday.

The hotel was very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. They changed the bedding and cleaned the rooms every day. There was a good variety of food at lunch and dinner, always a salad bar, bread, chips, tomato pasta and a dessert table as well as a few main options with vegetables. Breakfast was really good, fresh fruits, meats & cheeses, cooked breakfast and toast. Plenty of tea/coffee options and juice. There were also snacks during the day in-between the main times. The bar outside by the pool was great, there is a menu explaining which drinks come under the all inclusive and there’s plenty to choose from. For me the only thing that let the hotel down was the entertainment. In the day was great, they had plenty of pool games and music but at night the main entertainment didn’t start until 9.45pm so not the best for kids. Some of the entertainment was really good, but they only stayed on for about an hour, so felt like it wasn’t really enough. Because there is not loads around it, I think it would have been better to be on for longer. Overall a good experience, was perfect for us just wanting a relaxed holiday by the pool!

Arrived very late due to TUI delays 01-30am receptionist very welcoming,unfortunatley we were on 11th floor.Following day staff would of moved us to floor 7 but we would have to wait until mid afternoon, we stayed on the 11th floor,3 lifts but peak times you wait a while All staff very friendly,no kettles in room towels paper thin,beds comfy tele on wall with 1 channel sky news(but you dont go away to watch tv) safe deposit box €20 deposit,€18 for the week.Tiny fridge in room Food very bland brekki cold but there is a microwave,Beer and beverages very average in paper cups (not ideal) we found couple local bars 5 mins away €4 a pint very nice. Pool area far too small for size of hotel,sun doesnt come up until 11-30am so no rush in getting a sunbed pool is very very cold. This hotel is clean but needs a good upgrade. Some nice bars and cafes very local to this hotel,macdonalds and burger king near too My advice take a kettle We wont be returning

Apartment is very comfortable room, with balcony and table, indoor table, all kitchen comfort. Family is done almost every day. Very clean, very friendly staff, including at the reception. We were next to the restaurant on the floor, so a little noise in the evening, but next to enjoy the animations. The residence is well placed to walk in the city, car parked outside at a maximum of 5 minutes in adjacent streets. the staff explains how to go there ... Very happy with our stay.
