The location is excellent—right by the waterfront—making it very convenient for sightseeing, relaxing walks, and exploring nearby attractions and eateries. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even better. Breakfast had a good selection, with both local and international options, and the dining area was comfortable and spacious. Facilities like the pool and common areas were also well-kept and enjoyable. Overall, Grand Margherita Hotel offers great comfort, good service, and an ideal location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching, whether for leisure or business."

"The location is superb, right by the Kuching Waterfront, and just a few steps out the door is the bustling Chinatown - Carpenter Street. The famous Sarawak State Legislative Assembly building is also nearby. Secondly, the environment is great, the hotel is very clean, and the staff are very friendly. I forgot my facial cleanser and shower gel, but the front desk staff quickly found them and returned them to me before I checked out, which I really appreciated. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kuching!"

"The hotel is located in the town area, just walking distance to the main bazaar, waterfront, and other tourist attractions. Very convenient. The pool and cardio room is located at the other wing, there is a bridge to walk over."

"Location is good as there’s lots of eateries and shops right outside the hotel. There’s a supermarket directly opposite the hotel too. 1st night encountered power trip in the hotel room and Manager Akmal did an excellent service recovery by giving us a suite room for the night. Throughout the stay he recognized our family and keep apologizing for the inconvenience caused."

"Imperial Hotel Kuching offers a convenient location and generally comfortable rooms, but the air-conditioning system needs attention. Each time the unit is switched on, it produces a loud, persistent noise that disrupts rest. The room itself is clean and well-kept, and staff service is prompt, yet the noisy aircon significantly affects the overall stay. Addressing this issue would greatly improve the guest experience."

"Nothing fancy but very practical and strategically located hotel at the riverside. Good for business or couple. The room is clean, mattress is solid and the shower pressure is so far the best over my years of travelling. The rates are the better one as compared to other neighbors. The reception is also friendly. 7-11 convenient stall located opposite hotel entrance."

"Our 5th time staying here and have always been happy with hilton kuching rooms being spotless. However this time, we have got a room that is not so clean and things were in bad condition as compared to the previous rooms I have stayed in. Check in was great as attended by Bong. One other feedback, the lobby area parking attendant, there is one lady with short hair seems to be quite fierce looking and not sure if this is a hospitality service from Hilton Kuching as she does not even have a smile on her face as compared to the rest of the staff attending to the parking in the Lobby, they were very friendly and welcoming which I have always experienced in the past. Hope the management is able to do something about her and remind her on the basics of being in thehospitality service."
