I stayed one night at this hotel (12/16/20). Two days later (12/18/20) I received a call from a woman who told me I had left something behind in the room. She then proceeded to describe drug paraphernalia and accuse me of being the one to leave it in the room. She then asked for permission to throw it away to which I responded ”yes please throw it away because it is not mine.” The next day (12/19/20) I had an unauthorized charge for $150. I called the hotel and was put on hold for a long while until I was then hung up on. I called back immediately and they said that I was being charged for doing drugs in the room and that was against their policy. I told them again that it was not mine and I was willing to prove it. I only had a carry on bag coming from the airport and was timestamped. It shows that I would not have time to buy drugs after leaving the airport while also being in a town I've never been to. I was lastly informed that they would look further into it and get back with me by Christmas at the latest. It is now the 28th and I have yet to hear from anyone. They are clearly lying, stealing, and taking advantage of people that live a distance away in hopes to get away with it. I will be contacting the BBB as well as my lawyer if this is not resolved immediately. In that case. not only will you be refunding my money but you will also be responsible for my legal fees as well as whatever measures are taken to prove that this drug paraphernalia is not mine and i do not do drugs. On a separate note, it also goes to show that they are doing an unsatisfactory job at making sure the rooms are being deeply cleaned after each guest. This is always an unacceptable practice, but during Covid it is absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. I have all the proof I need to show my innocence and have my money returned and this company will be hearing from me until it is resolved completely.
On Friday, I received an email from Prescott Valley Water informing me that my water usage was unusually high and that there was probably a leak in my home’s water pipes. I rushed home and confirmed that there was such a leak. The town shut the water off so we wouldn’t waste more water than we already had, and we miraculously found a plumber willing to do the requisite work on Saturday. However, this left us without water – without flushing toilets and working showers – for the remainder of Friday and most of Saturday. As a guy, I would happily use a camp toilet and handle hygiene using pre-moistened disposable camp towels for a single day, but my wife was having none of that. She insisted that we check into a local hotel for the night. What neither of us realized is that there was some sort of soccer-related event in our area that weekend, and hotel rooms were in very short supply and prices reflected that scarcity. After several unsuccessful inquiries elsewhere, we drove to the Hampton Inn and Suites located just down the road from our home in Prescott Valley. We explained the situation to the two on-duty clerks, Jamie and Jaden, and they were very understanding. Because we were local and because of our situation, they found a very nice room for us and gave us a considerable break on the price. My wife was able to not only shower, but also enjoy the jacuzzi. Jamie and Jaden went above and beyond to help us, and we are very grateful to them. They were extremely courteous, understanding, and kind, and Hampton Inn and Suites is fortunate to have such wonderful people on staff. Thank you, Jamie and Jaden!
I have yet to complete my stay. However, felt compelled to express my utter dissatisfaction and horrible experience thus far at this hotel. First, upon entering my room I immediately noticed the carpet was not vacuumed as it had pieces of trash throughout the room. It also appears as though the carpet has never been shampooed or steamed cleaned as the carpets are extremely dingy. The bedding/linen were grossly dirty ( I have a video) to support. I went downstairs to express and show the front desk. I was offered another room, when I went to check the linen in the other room it was just as bad as my initial room. Room has two televisions and neither one worked, the iron is broken. On the third night I tried to enter my room (with dinner in hand) and key card didn’t work. I went and got a replacement and that card didn’t work either. I went back downstairs to tell front desk that my card didn’t work. The gentlemen asked for me to go up with him, I told him I wanted to eat my food first because it was already getting cold. We sat down in the lobby to eat and was immediately told we couldn’t. This hotel is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It should be considered a motel because that’s the way they operate. I would never recommend anyone stay at this place.

The location and grounds were absolutely beautiful. I loved the balcony and the ambience. The lobby was nice and I enjoyed the 24/7 coffee bar. However the rooms are dated, the pillows have sweat stains. There were brown stains on the carpet and dust on parts of the furniture. There were reddish stains in my sheets. The lamp shade was cracked and discolored. Free breakfast tasted kind of old. I’d go again for the ambience and the area. They are pet friendly so I’ll make sure to bring my dog next time:)

GGuest UserDecided to take a last minute weekend trip to Prescott and couldn’t have been happier. Gentleman who checked us in was very nice, quick process (and $1 candy and snacks! Couldn’t beat that!). Room was perfect, bed cozy and comfy. Took advantage of the indoor hot tub right away! Breakfast was a great assortment of items. All around great stay!
JJuliet redulaWould highly recommend this place! Very clean and close to the downtown but still quaint and quiet. Breakfast was awesome and the staff were so polite and accommodating!! The room was very comfortable and clean.
This was our second time staying at The Hotel . Our first visit was met with mix-ups that we chalked up to technical errors. Visit number two started off with a rather long wait to check in ( only two ahead of us … but only one person at the desk). We listened as the couple ahead of us were “upgraded” to a king suite because the room they requested had not been cleaned yet. Our turn came, only to be told that ALL of our reasons for choosing this hotel were incorrectly identified by a new staff member as available. There was NO apology for their mistake… nor any compensation suggested for their errors.. no “ upgrade” for us!!! . Ok… things happen… check in to the room we didn’t really want, but friends were on the way. After ******** for a few hours, I returned to the room (11pm) to find it had not been vacuumed very well from previous guests ( see pics) and listened to yelling/cussing/slamming doors from neighbors . After 15 min I walked down to desk ( no one answered the phone) to request they be reminded of general hotel quiet hours between 10pm -6am. Finally, to relax in the tub… only to discover long, black hairs ( cleaned out tub before taking pics… dang it!!!) from previous guest. Night number two was a repeat performance, so once again, I made the trek to the desk. Security showed up about 10 min after my notification … the time now well after midnight!! The only highlight of breakfast ( think cold food) , was Karen …who was very friendly/happy. She was one of only THREE people we encountered during our stay, who was friendly/seemed happy to be employed there. Kayla ( cashier) was another and we did not catch last persons name. When we checked out the next morning, there were no carts available for our luggage, apparently they do not have more than 2 carts. You also have to leave your identification with them as collateral in order to get a cart… fyi. In conclusion, it’s a gamble staying here. You might get the room you request… you might get upgraded… you might get sleep… you might get a clean room… a cart for your luggage… a warm breakfast … Our recommendation? Check in to a place in town… your gamble might pay off there!!
GGuest UserThe place was clean and the staff was very helpful. We were just passing through and we're very happy with our choice. We will definitely stay there again.
GGuest UserI will not give 5 starts because you can so much hear your next room’s noise. During my stay, the next door two ladies kept taking and laughing till 2AM. Horrible!! You can hear almost everything. I do not recommend this hotel. Typically during the hot season, you will have all rooms booked. Too noisy!
ehhhh.... Bed soft, but hair on pillowcase. Bathroom counter and tile floor sticky. Just adequate shower; towels thick. Soap pretty industrial. Lights OK. Heater/AC good, fridge good, didn't use microwave. Flat TV good. Enough outlets for several electronics. WiFi OK, password-free though. Door didn't feel particularly secure. Convenient to downtown. It's an old property, started out modest, now used and modest. Chipped paint/rusty railings/cement chipping off stairs. As per foto, parking lot getting repaired, pretty bad at the driveway. I don't know if they're rehabbing the adjoining rooms as well, or just the pavement.
