We returned to Rhino Post after five years but sadly only two nights this time. Lovely rustic rooms but without air conditioning can be a bit stifling on a very very not day! Food very good with choice at dinner and nice wine list and friendly service. The game viewing in this concession remains excellent with elephants galore. The highlight was the impala cheetah kill. Our guide this time was James, very friendly and interactive and quick to judge the knowledge level of clients. Until the next time!

Perfect for game drives, not for relaxing In general a nice lodge but very focused on game drives. Limited service and possibilities if not on a drive. Compared to 5 other lodges with lower price less standard. We also missed some kind of guidance/management, everything was on the ( nice) ranger. Most Africa-feeling as not fenced and no free walking in the evening.

Man muss Abends auschecken, ok dann eben so. Was passiert dann ?

We had a great stay at Rhino Post Safari Lodge. The whole stay was magical but our guide Wesley made the trip. He was very knowledgeable and his understanding of animal behaviour meant he could foresee what animals were going to do. We saw and learnt so much and all thought he was great. At the lodge itself, you can watch animals at the watering hole from the comfort of your balcony or the main bar area. The dinners were lovely and offered local meats and foods to try and it was all freshly prepared. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The shower is outdoors and the hot water is very limited but you are expected to take a fast shower due to water shortages. We all want to go back! the whole experience was great.

Great location and Staff are excellent. Food was very good with three choices for the nighttime entree. Very active watering hole at the lodge in October. Drives were great and we saw many animals each drive. Rooms are very good but be aware no air conditioning in the rooms so Summer might be pretty warm. It was perfect for Spring time.
