A top ecolodge, a magnificent island, a good restaurant, very friendly and efficient staff. Magnificent dive on a small wreck. Superb decoration. Ideal for 2 nights, total disconnection. Very good and varied breakfast. Good cocktails too.

This is truly a hidden gem. We spent 2 nigts in a kubo which was wonderful, but I would recommend 3 nights. The shared shower and bathroom was no problem. They were so nice. The food though is just wonderful and everything is so fresh. Go here when you are tired of all experiences elsewhere on Palawan and wind down. I tried the yoga too, which was a good experience Even for a beginner

Exactly what you picture when you imagine a tropical island. Quirky accomodation added to the picturesque. Limited menu of 4 choices changed every day and was always good. Beach had lots of shady huts and hammocks and water was perfection. We had to change huts as ours had no steps and hoisting ourselves up was a challenge but we are in our 60s and most guests about 30. We managed fine without wifi but no air conditioning was more challenging. Also no issue with shared bathroom but rocky floor also difficult. The staff were absolutely amazing and cocktails also good!

This luxury hostel is located at one of the most beautiful and picturesque places in el nido. The camp is constructed beautifully and you have multiple activities. The food is super duper awesome - the chefs really know their stuff. This was the highlight of the stay... The staff is super friendly and courteous.. Another highlight for me was the shipwreck snorkelling on the other side of the island.. The price for the stay (8000 php) is quite expensive given the facilities ( shared bathroom and no AC). Also given that they charge 1500php per person for transfer from elnido. So the total trip cost of 11000 for 2 is extreme. Suggestion would be to go to the stays on the other side - which lack luxury - but just as good on location..

Where do i start???? I saw the pictures and reviews of Dryft and had high expectations (and crossed my fingers that the reality would be just as nice). I’m sorry to say the truth of the matter is that the pictures, reviews and information on the internet don’t do this place any justice. Upon arrival I was searching for a word to describe what I was seeing and feeling. I eventually I settled on “breathtaking”. Dryft is definitely an oasis in this crazy world we live in. The beaches are pristine and the water is crystal clear! The resort itself is nothing but magical. An eco-friendly resort that provides a service that many 5 star hotel chains could learn from. The staff are honest, real and wonderful people who give love and warmth 24/7 (miss you Kate). The food was to die for and my buddy Carlo is a magician when it comes to deciding what culinary delicacies he will create each day. I can honestly say I never had a bad morsel of food throughout my entire stay. As for activities and entertainment, the vibe is Ibiza sunset chilled and the snorkelling is some of the best I did in the Philippines. I actually went to Dryft to participate in the Yoga & wellness retreat. The programme was perfectly designed by Siân, Kendra and Piper to cater for all abilities and the wellness side of things blew me away. We all went on our own journeys, supporting each other as we delved into our hearts to create true connections and meaning. I made some soul connections that I will never forget. The massages were amazing and the sunsets spectacular (star gazing on paddle boards at night is out of this world). I could continue to write about Dryft but I’ve never been one for spoilers. My parting thought/advice/recommendation is “Go”. Go to Dryft and experience a piece of paradise (even if it takes a long flight to get there). Like the advert says….. you’re worth it ! Bravo Chris & Faith ❤️ Can’t wait to come back and see you all again x PS - You know I will be back, as I still have a few cocktails left to try ;)

Dryft Darocotan is the best place we've been to during our journey to the Philippines! It's really peaceful and secluded and the resort is so beautiful and original! There is plenty of things to do - swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding, playing volleyball and much, much more. The food was delicious, also I think the best we've had on Philippines and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer, hopefully we will come back one day:)

It has been two fantastic nights here, with fantastic surroundings. The staff is very serviceminded, friendly and sweet. They make wonderful food with fresh ingredients and the staff are good at explaining what is in the food. They are also good at English, so they are easy to communicate with. It is clear that they try to give their guests the best experience. We would definitely recommend this to others!
