The building is nicely furnished. It looks like a breeding plant. The entrance area is depressing, no attractive furniture or other furniture that give a guest even minimally the impression and feeling of being in a hotel. The mattress (at least in my room) is over, the room was rather modest. The bathroom and the room were clean. The walls are bright and I must say the room neighbors had a satisfactory evening or a satisfactory night. The price of € 70 for one night to the second is rather too high for this ”hotel” but experiences cost money.

A new, good address. The circumstances are of sound, high quality, the style of the hotel is in line with today's standard. Notably well-functioning the lifts, notably applied to the whole reception. The prices are fair, even cheap when selected carefully. The location of breakfast rooms is not very cheap. Ich bin eine gebürtige Essenerin und kenne deshalb das Hotel schon ewig. Die Lage ist zentral, gegenüber vom Hauptbahnhof und mitten in der Stadt. Die Zimmer sind je nach Kategorie geräumig. Ich finde es toll, das man die Fenster öffnen kann. Auch die Betten sind bequem. Frühstück gegen Aufpreis, dort gibt es allerdings Verbesserungspotential. Trotzdem 100% Empfehlung

Wow. What a trip that was to the Essen Spiel convention. And what an excellent hotel we have had the luck of booking a room into. Everything was top notch. We were given a room on the second floor, right across the elevator, in room 226. That was indeed super convenient, since for soundproofing, the windows were always shut, and I'm a smoker, so it made my outside trip to the smoking area easy. Everything in the room was where it should be. Plenty of sockets to plug our electronics in, a desk to put our convention stuff on and make our plans for the following day. Water pressure was spot on in the shower, all-in-one soap was naturally provided in a dispenser and filled daily. Room cleaning was done super meticulously in the morning and the cleaning people were nice and attentive when we happened to stumble upon them. All the staff we ran across were super nice and kind, even though we were always bugging them with annoying and trivial matters. The evening shift at the bar and reception really tried their best to satisfy our bothering demands. Hats off to them for putting up with us. I feel that we may have indeed tested their patience's limits. Despite all our best - or worst - but unintended in honesty - efforts to piss them off, they didn't even lose their smile. Great job, everyone! The cherry on top was the hotel's decision to open up a big room full of tables and chairs for the Spiel attendees to pass the night once the exhibition day was over. Really thoughtful and it's one of those small details that win people over. I'm looking forward to returning to the convention next year, and I'm sure I will be booking a room in this hotel alongside my plane and convention tickets. Keep it up, GHOTEL!

The front desk closed at 22 o'clock. I didn't see this message on Ctrip. When I waited, the person in charge of the hotel had already driven away and was about to leave. There is a student apartment opposite. You can see clearly from their room, so it is recommended to close the curtains. The biggest drawback is that the sound insulation of the door is extremely poor. It is almost as if there is no door. You can clearly hear the opening and closing of the door in the next room, and even the sound of the TV and alarm clock. In the morning, the sound of the cleaners making phone calls in the corridor is just like... It's like it's right in my room, so scary The pillows are very flat and uncomfortable. The bed is okay. The shower space is a bit small. People with taller bodies may find it more uncomfortable. The service was pretty good when checking out (maybe it was because of a different person)

Central location for access to the centre of Essen. Parking opposite and various shops and restaurants in walking distance. Comfortable and modern like all NH. Room a bit warm and didn’t seem possible to adjust.

The hotel is 20 minutes walk from Essen Central Railway Station, not far from the pedestrian street, walking is within walking distance, parking is also very convenient downstairs in the hotel itself. The parking fee is 17.5 Euro/night, which is a bit more expensive. The parking fee has to be paid in advance and not accepted. It is estimated that inflation in Europe has been quite severe in the past two years. I feel that prices are soaring, and prices for meals and accommodation are rising.

The hotel is in the centre of Bochum, exit the hotel and you are in the centre. Parking is underneath the hotel in a public garage for an acceptable daily rate. Beds great, but the bedlinnen for a double bed is so small that one person is left out in the cold. Hotel is brand new. Loved the hotel. Breakfast great except the juices. Friendly staff. What needs improvement: The mentioned bed linnen / covers. The hotel needs to do something about that. I do not know what kind of ”juice” comes out of the machine at breakfast, but you really cannot call this orange juice.

Also die Dusche als ich die gesehen habe dachte ich mir, ok das wird mein stammhotel, nur leider 1 punktabzug für den überhaupt nicht passenden duschkopf, erstens zu schwach und zweitens zu nah an der Ecke, das war so richtig enttäuschend, nichts destotrotz würde ich da wieder buchen, hoffe nur das der Geschäftsmann mal sich überlegt diese Kleinigkeit zu verbessern für die Perfektion. Ausserdem ist der Boden die aller beste Wahl die man haben konnte, bei den anderen hat man immer ein Ekel bekommen, bei dem habe ich mich getraut barfuss zu laufen Danke
