This family owned and run hotel is lovely and is centrally located for discovering the beautiful city of Ferrara, Italy. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The associates (often family members) at the front desk were extremely helpful with recommendations for restaurants, galleries and salons. The included breakfast buffet was generously supplied with a multitude of choices including fresh juices. We were able to walk the entire town and to enjoy a Medieval celebration in the piazza of the castle directly in front of the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful visit! Diane and Alejandro Lopez

This hotel was very well located a stones throw from all the major sights in the city. Breakfast was ample but took a long time to be served. Bathroom was clean but shower had no pressure. Bed was rock hard. The ladies at reception were very helpful and did what they could to improve matters which were not really in their control. Wifi did not work every day and there were no TV channels except in Italian. Lighting in room extremely poor which made it hard to even read a book. Would probably not return.

We spent in this hotel only one night. The hotel is nice and the receptionists were very friendly. But unfortunately, when we came with our group, one triple room wasn't ready for check-in, so we needed to wait until our room will be cleaned. So it was 3 p.m. and we came from the airport after the 4-hours flight. The breakfast was OK (nobody waits for an excellent breakfast from the Italian hotels), but the coffee machine didn't work and the bar attendant had to prepare it for each of us. The hotel location is very good, a 3-minute walk to the main sight- the castle, some small shops around. But I recommend walking a little bit more to find more interesting cafes or restaurants.

The hotel is located in the outskirts of the city center but it is very convenient if one is traveling by car. To arrive to downtown one needs around 15 minutes on foot. Fine for us. One can see that it had been a very elegant place, unfortunately right now needs renovation. Some things of our room were not in good condition. The heating system was not working properly but fortunately the people from the reception sent someone to fix it. We had too a little inconvenient with some kids that were making a lot of noise making it impossible to sleep. Again the problem was solved. It would say that the most outstanding offer of the hotel is the helpfulness and friendliness of some people in the reception area .There is a guy who is fantastic and I am so sorry that I can’t remember his name. The breakfast was ok. Investing some money to renovating it would be a fantastic idea!!!

Room and breakfast 4 stars! It is located in a very quiet area just a few steps from the centre, this receptional hotel is located on the ground floor with beautiful, comfortable, clean and quiet rooms. The owners are very friendly and willing to provide any information that is useful for the visit of the city and its monuments, and also for the best restaurants in the city. Breakfast is varied and prepared at the time chosen the evening before. A wide choice of house cakes, brioches, yoghurt, cereals, marmelade, honey of various kinds, etc... We had a very beautiful triple room, in the green tones. In the vicinity there is a large free parking for the car, and the structure has a garage to re-establish the bikes. Excellent quality price, very recommended, is like staying at home.
