Very nice staff ! Great place , very clean and great location

We went to a concert and had a late checking at 12:30. The non-smoking room we were provided reeked of tobacco smoke. The front desk was notified but my kids had fallen asleep and I didn't want the hassle at 1 of moving to another room. The next morning upon daylight, it became very apparent this was a very run down, poorly maintained or cleaned hotel. Besides the overpowering tobacco smell, we discovered the following issues, a smoke detector missing, the AC unit was badly damaged, not all lights were working order, mold in all corners and along grout in tub and the outside of facility had trash all in parking lot and along outside of facility. The manager again was notified of tobacco smell in room and blamed it on another guest smoking in nearby room. He never apologized or tried to make the issues right. I find fault that not only did the horrendous smell not concern him and could create issues for anyone with lung or breathing issues (hence non-smoking) but operating a facility with the amount of issues our room alone had and then charging what a much better accomodations would cost is unacceptable. All these were brought to management attention again and through Hopper who I booked through with the manager refusing my request for a refund. THIS is an UNSAFE (missing detector, lights not working) UNHEALTHY (mold, tobacco smoke) environment I highly recommend you not subject yourself or family to these conditions.

I booked a room, dinner, valet parking, and a spa treatment as a gift for a friend. She really enjoyed the hotel. She loved her massage at the spa, and she said dinner at Whiskey & Rye was good. I’m glad she enjoyed her stay so I definitely feel like it was worth it, but this is my first time dealing with a luxury hotel and I’m a bit surprised that everything seemed so difficult. For starters, I booked the room online. I called to confirm I’d done so correctly because it was a gift and I didn’t want any problems. Initially, I was told the room needed to be in my name and that my friend could be listed as an extra person in the room. I was told that the manager would email me a credit card authorization form and that I’d need to fill it out and fax it back by a certain date. I never received a form so I called back. I was told that the room needed to be in my friend’s name and that I’d be emailed the authorization and I could email it back when I filled it out. I got an authorization link but it wasn’t a form I was meant to fill out, it was just for prepayment but it was listed for $0. I called back again and asked to talk to a manager just to make sure there wouldn’t be any issues. He set me up with everything and said he’d email the authorization. It never came through so I had to call back. Eventually, I got the proper authorization link and prepaid. My friend had no issues with her stay. One thing I found annoying was that I prepaid for a 50-minute massage at the spa. I also paid for a $50 activity credit for dinner. I noticed I was overcharged and my friend said her card was charged as well despite the manager assuring me they just needed her card on file, that I’d be the only one with charges for the accommodations, taxes, and incidentals. Again, I had to call several times and ended up never being able to speak to who I needed to. I emailed corporate and I got connected to who I needed to, but it’s a process and each email reply takes 24-48 hours. I was told that the massage actually costs $50 more than the credit I’d paid for, which seems misleading. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t attach a monetary value to the spa credit instead of advertising it as a fully paid 50 minute massage. Because of that, the credit I’d purchased to cover dinner was applied to the spa treatment, which meant I’d paid $52 for dinner out of incidentals. It’s not a huge issue, but it just feels misleading. The charge on my friend’s card also fell off and I was told that someone should’ve explained she’d have a hold placed on that card in the event of damages. No one did, and I would’ve paid more toward the room and incidentals initially if I’d known that. I’m really glad my friend enjoyed her stay but I don’t know if I’d feel inclined to book here again in the future. The added packages seem more like a headache than just paying for stuff outright. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was exceptionally clean, the location was perfect for exploring the city, and the restaurant downstairs served delicious food. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel!! I work in the hotel industry, I spent 10+ years in housekeeping, from housekeeper all the way to executive housekeeper amd I am super critical about hotels. I have also worked for Hampton Inn & Suites before. This property has a very well trained staff, extremely professional welcoming front desk staff and super clean beautifully maintain super clean rooms and facilities. 5 stars all the way for this property!

Wow! As the father of the bride for my first-born daughter & her fiancé we researched long & hard for a hotel that could handle our out of town guests to give them an authentic Texas experience. After evaluating different options we chose the Historic Sinclair Building Fort Worth from Marriott Autograph collection. Sinclair is a renovated office building that Sinclair Oil used to operate from and is just steps away from Sundance Square. Marriott has touches throughout the building that tributes its storied history. Sinclair has combined the authenticity of the past with cutting edge technology. The bathroom mirror had apps inside the mirror for the weather, news, & music etc. The bathroom also had lighting that could change colors and moods. The curtains could be closed with the touch of a button so you can fall in asleep in the absolutely amazingly comfortable bed. While all that was more than wonderful the real magic happened with the service- starting with sales leader Courtney Towson & GM Tammy Vallejo. They invited us to lunch to learn about our event and provided top notch solutions from putting gift bags in guest’s room, private check in line, and a complete staff of can-do attitudes. Courtney even came in on Saturday to check in on us. She opened up roof top bar for bride/groom first looks. After the wedding we came back to a bottle of wine and handwritten note of congratulations from Courtney. Magical day, Magical Property, Magical Location, Magical Service!!!

Unfortunately we would have loved our stay near sun dance square but I had a thousand dollars on my card and this hotel instead of taking 174 for the room took 450 plus 380 plus the room charge of 174 be careful handing a card over for so called incidentals

On what was becoming an incredibly horrible day became absolutely fantastic, because of my husband and I stumbling upon the TownPlace Suites. We were having an awful time with our prior reservations at a different hotel, and needed a different hotel right away for that night. We were running out of places that were open, when we did find one the hotel desk was so rude I walked out before even checking in. We came across TownPlace suites and from the moment we walked in we knew it was the right choice. We were greeted by Katina Pesina who was extremely friendly and without even knowing the day we were having greeted us as if we were he only guests. We were only supposed to stay one night, but because of how amazing the staff and how clean our room was and the fact that we finally felt relaxed we ended up staying two nights. I would go back here in a heartbeat anytime being in Fort Worth. All the staff was amazing, Katina the Asst GM bent over backwards for us and everyone that walked through the doors, not to mention her and the other staff were so much fun to chat with every time we walked by. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for making out stay end up being amazing.

The hotel served my purpose - I just spent 2 nights. Fortunately I did not have to depend on the breakfast bar as it was very sp****. Room was clean, A/C could be updated, room had fridge and microwave and little coffee maker.
