Excellent stay in calligraphy room. This place is as charming as they come and very sought after. The building itself has a long history and the restaurant downstairs is a hidden gem.

The hotel is located at the center of George Town, could reach all tourist attractions by foot. The stuffs are very friendly and the hotel is clean and delicate. Definitely it will be my first choice for my next trip to Penang. ❤️

Overall good

Definitely one of the more successful repurposed properties in Penang. Very central location to all the spots. Cleanliness and hygiene is very good! Good breakfast to start your day. Room is of a very good size and high ceiling (if on top floor). Highly recommended!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Campbell House. Excellent location and reception staffs were welcoming and very helpful. They provided us with maps & recommendations after check in. Always asked us about our day and highlights. Thank you for a memorable experience! The room is very clean although small for 2 to share. I would recommend the double room for one traveller or short/weekend travellers with less luggages.

The hotel combines history and modernity, with great rooms and a good location, right near Kimberly Food Street. It will introduce the highlights of Penang in detail. The loft room with an extra bed is especially suitable for a family of three.

Penang has a colonial style hotel. The balcony is close to the sea and the sea view is unobstructed. The room is quite large and has a tropical style, especially the bathroom and cloakroom. The symmetrical design highlights the luxury and elegance. It is the most unforgettable hotel

The hotel has a strong Nanyang flavor. The Penang tourist map provided by the front desk staff is very helpful. The hot water is not strong. The room next to the room is under renovation. I didn't get a good rest in the hotel after getting off the plane.

The ideal location of the hotel, friendly staff at the reception who gave directions to the area. But the staff in the restaurant is very inattentive. We ordered tea, they brought coffee, we ordered Benedict with salmon, they brought it with ham... The air conditioner is positioned so that it blows directly on the bed (opium room)

The century-old building is worth staying in. It has only 12 rooms. The service staff are very kind and answer all our questions. We also met the proprietress who enthusiastically introduced the handmade ice cream next door and let us try it. Environment: Each room has a different design. We stayed in 2 rooms, and they both opened the door...wow...British style mixed with Asian embellishments. Hygiene: The guys clean it every day and it is quite clean. Service: I really can’t say enough good things about it. They enthusiastically answered the introductions and even helped us find the wrong store on Google. Handmade snacks and lemon tea are provided every day. I really like this hotel. However, the waiter does not speak Chinese, so we all communicate in English.
