Location is good. All the malls and eateries are within walking distance. Have been staying at this hotel on every visit. Price is reasonable too.

The hotel is conveniently located. Though the room was a little smaller than expected, it was comfortable and clean. Overall the services provided were good. It would be nice if the staff could converse in English.

Great hotel experience. My room was upgraded and I enjoyed the view. Room is clean and I got the rack to dry my wet towel and clothes. Location is good as the bus station is just a few minutes away and easy for me to go both sides. Check in and check out is very smooth as well with a nice talk at the counter. Will definitely come back if I visit Hainan again.

Every time I go to Haikou, I will stay at Baohua, but I was very unhappy this time. At the beginning, the security guards, concierge, front desk, and housekeeping were all very good and had good attitudes. The failure was in the food and beverage department. From the Thai restaurant on the first night of check-in to the breakfast restaurant on the next morning, we never expected such a bad attitude. We understand that you are full after the typhoon, and the staff are very busy and tired. We don’t ask for any meticulous service, but they don’t even treat guests with basic courtesy and respect. It feels like we are begging for food. I observed that some employees in these two restaurants have very bad attitudes towards guests! So this is also our last stay in Baohua. Baohua is an old hotel that I have a lot of feelings for, but this experience has made us have no future.

The water and electricity were cut off during Typhoon Capricorn. The hotel was used as a designated hotel to ensure that people from other provinces who were supporting the reconstruction could stay. There was water, electricity and internet, which was rare at this time. The slippers were very comfortable. I asked Zheng Xiaomei for two pairs of children's slippers.

Since my first business trip to Hainan in 2005, I have stayed in many hotels of various sizes and grades. Haikou Baohua is probably the one I stayed in the most. Previously, I mostly negotiated prices with my colleagues in the office. This time I booked on Ctrip and the hotel gave me a free upgrade. Overall, they are all good and recommended.

Everything is pretty good. The service staff is warm, wet clothes will be dried actively, bedding is changed and washed quickly, and when they saw that I brought a child, they also put out towels and elephants and gave shells 🐚

I washed a bunch of clothes and hung them in the bathroom. When I came back from my trip, I found that the clothes were taken to the window by the room attendant, Sister Chen, and hung on the clothes drying rack to dry. It was so considerate! 👍 The hotel is also close to the commercial district, and it is very convenient for eating and shopping. There is also a swimming pool and a gym. 😄

The room facilities are complete, the environment is clean and tidy, the service attitude is thoughtful and enthusiastic, the buffet breakfast has a rich variety and tastes good. It is also close to the beach and has a nice scenery.
