Hotel Norddeutscher Hof

We stayed at the Hotel Norddeutscher Hof for one night. The location is very close to the main train station, a 3-minute walk away, making it fantastic for people who arrive by train and then just want to get around the city using public transport. We liked our stay because the hotel was good value for money (breakfast was included) and it was clean. One problem if you arrive by car is that the parking spaces in front of the door are only for a maximum of 120 minutes and cost €3.50 per hour. The hotel provided a list of parking spaces/houses upon request, but one was very small and already full, and the other did not cost €20 as stated on the note, but after less than 24 hours we were already at €42. The friendliness of the staff was mixed. When I asked about parking, I was immediately told not to come and hope to be able to check in before 3 p.m. (which we never planned to do). The colleague who worked there afterwards, when we wanted to drop off our luggage at 2:15 p.m., was very friendly and simply gave us our room key. Our room was right next to the river and the building was old, so if you're very sensitive to noise, this might not be the right hotel. So all in all, it's definitely recommended for short stays and we would come again.

The price/performance ratio is quite good, but the carpet is a little old. Check in at 3 pm, no earlier.

It's next to Hamburg CENTRAL STATION. You can walk there after getting off the train. It's easy to find if you have luggage. There is a Chinese restaurant next to the hotel, which is good and breakfast is also available. In terms of dissatisfaction, the black people's RECEPTION was not very friendly and seemed very impatient; the room was next to a street shop and it was a bit noisy at night, so I had to close the window to reduce the noise.

The room is small and the breakfast is quite warm. The transportation is very convenient

Ich war für eine Nacht geschäftlich mit einem Arbeitskollegen in diesem Hotel. Wir hatten beide Einzelzimmer und haben beide 81€ pro Nacht inkl. Frühstück bezahlt. Öffentlicher und kleiner Parkplatz gegenüber vom Hotel (maximale Parkdauer 2 Stunden, ab 21 Uhr abends kostenfrei bis 9 Uhr morgens). Positiv - zentrale Lage - Frühstück - Sauberkeit Negativ - Zimmergröße (14 m²) - Mein Zimmer Nr. 443 war eine Katastrophe. Fensterblick ging in einen überdachten Innenhof/Atrium. Also kein schöner Blick + schlechte Luft + unangenehmer Geruch (im Hof gab es Lüftungsrohre) + sehr warm „draußen“ und drinnen (gefühlt 24 Grad. Bei 16 Grad Außentemperatur) - Das Zimmer 443 hat genauso viel gekostet wie ein Zimmer mit Blick zur Straße und „frischer“ Luft - Teppich im gesamten Hotel, etwas unhygienisch - Kein Wasserdruck in der Dusche Fazit: Wer nicht viel Geld ausgeben kann oder möchte, für den ist das Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Ordnung. Ich würde aber auf keinen Fall die Nummer 443 nehmen.
