Hotels Near Wumendong Grottoes in Hangzhou

The first time I came to Hangzhou, I just stayed one night and left the next day, so I hurriedly chose this B&B because I was attracted by the semicircular window. Although that room type was sold out, I still stayed in this B&B. Very pleasant surprise! In addition to the great room type, the most important thing is that every detail is taken care of! This is really rare in China’s B&B industry! Because most people come to check in, not many B&Bs can consider the details. But I can tell that this store has put a lot of thought into it, from the decoration materials to the toothbrush set with dental floss and food containers, all of which are carefully designed! Very tasteful and thoughtful! Thank you to the B&B owner for your efforts! In addition to staying in, there are many very interesting activities, such as copying scriptures and tasting tea, which provide more fun for the journey!

Our family of 2 adults and 3 children enjoyed our stay in Aventree Hotel for 3 nights in January. We chose this hotel as a point for investigating local tea fields and villages and we are fully satisfied with this choice. Hotel has its own atmosphere, coming from its design and style that are very special. It is very cozy and calm yet has all the needed modern facilities. Located in the beginning of small village well-known for local Longjing tea, just 20 meters from the main road it has a quite large backyard and situated in a 10-15 min walk from Yanxia Cave with ancient Buddhist sculptures. It was very pleasant to have a walk there through tea fields in the morning before breakfast. Breakfasts and dinners are served a-la carte and quality of food was so good that we didn’t tried any other restaurants during 3 days stay. For one dinner we even asked for a local specialty – duck dried on the fresh air, you may see them hanging in all the yards across the village. Though this dish wasn’t presented in the menu we were served with it with the story about it’s local specialty. Hosts in the hotel showed us the map and roads to all the local attractions. With their help we visited tea houses, had a cool trekking via picturesque hiking trail above tea fields of Longjing village, went to waterfalls of Nine Creeks in the Misty Forest. We had a very relaxed rest in this hotel combined with the sightseeing and trailing, so hope to come back.

The service is very friendly, the room is clean and sanitary, the facilities are complete, there is a washing machine, it is convenient to wash clothes, you can see the Qiantang River, the price is also relatively cost-effective, it is suitable for traveling and staying

The hotel is not particularly easy to find. The newly renovated hotel is quite clean, but it has a smell. It is located in the city center. It is convenient to go everywhere. You can walk to the night market and West Lake. The breakfast is average. Overall, I will choose it next time. hotel~

I booked the Sunshine Tatami Room for 2 nights with my partner, and it was a pleasant stay throughout the days. We were being offered complimentary breakfast Chinese-western fusion style at the 11th floor for 2 nights, free coffee vouchers at Peets’ Coffee at the lobby and the hotel offered free laundry service on the 10th floor. The tatami room was big enough for us to lay our 28” luggages flat on the floor, and have a L shape sofa with a super big screen TV. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Breakfast is unbeatable!! You may take an hour trying as much dishes as you wish 😋. Hotel room is old but clean. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. MRT Fengqi Exit B (escalator upward to the road) , Exit F (behind the hotel building has both up and down escalators and you can access to-from hotel’s back door.

I stay at one bed dorm without window room, size 2x5m as showed in trip.com apps. At first this dormitory hotel gave a good impression: its hv many toilets and bathroom, all in quite clean condition, because always have standby cleaning service on shift. But at my last day stay, i don’t know what happen, the aircon in my room not cool at all, even i’d report through hotel’s wechat account, Their amneties is perfect: many hairdryer in bathroom, don’t forget to bring your own bath slippers when staying here. There provide coin washing machine, and there are infuse water, hot/cold water, microwave and refrigerator in the lounge. The only thing that bother me is the carpet inside the lift to hotel is very dirty, but maybe it’s because they share lift with Xintian art&craft garden building.

Room was nice and spacious, general hygiene of the rooms are decent. Only downside wades that our room was very strong smell of smoke, something we noticed about the building in general. If that doesn't affect you then I would recommend due it's value and location
