Hotels near Sino-Vietnamese Railway Bridge, Hekou

This hotel has relatively new facilities, and the standard rooms are quite spacious. The furniture is all carved mahogany or imitation mahogany, and the rooms are very clean. There's a garden and parking lot in front that can accommodate dozens of cars. It's also just a few dozen meters from the China-Vietnam Shopping Mall. The breakfast selection is plentiful, and the internet speed is fast. However, the showerhead is positioned too low, only about 1.1 meters.

I was here for a trip, and the hotel is only a four to five-minute walk from the border crossing. The hotel is clean and hygienic, with spacious rooms and a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. All the facilities are very new and complete. Parking is easy, and they even gave us a free room upgrade when we checked in. I highly recommend this hotel; its high level of comfort truly enhanced our trip.

Beyond my expectations! I chose this hotel as it seemed to be close to the train station (which it is) and I was not expecting much. The hotel is totally new, domotic and super confortable. It was great! If I have to mention anything to be improved, is the tobacco smell, but I am finding thus everywhere in China, it's not just this hotel. The hotel exceeded my expectations and the lady at the recepción desk totally went beyond the call of duty helping me! I am so grateful! I won't forget. Thank you SO much!

The hotel interior is quite comfortable, the breakfast is good, the service is very warm, the swimming pool is quite standard, and it's a suitable resort. The cicadas chirping in the hotel are also very rhythmic, and the noise stops before you go to sleep. Overall, I recommend it.

I stayed in Hekou for several days and stayed in 3 hotels. Hekou Jiashang Business Hotel has the best hardware and software. 1. The parking lot is very large, and it can accommodate more than a dozen buses without any problem. RV tours and motorcycle tours can all come here. During my stay, I saw an RV traveling guy parked here for 2 nights. 2. The room is clean, tidy and big. There are chairs for simple working. 3. Because it opened this year, the bed sheets, duvet covers and pillows are all new, including bath towels. The quality is similar to that used in mid-range hotels. You can tell by touching it. 3. I care about whether the bath water is hot or not, whether the water flow is strong or not, and whether the floor drain leaks quickly. Hekou Jiashang Hotel did not disappoint me in these aspects. 4. The shampoo and shower gel can only be said to be average, but at this price, I don’t dare to expect too much 😂. I think hotels must have a small bar of soap. I remember this one has it. 5. The hotel is quiet. In addition, there are two time-honored restaurants on the right side of the door, which I think are very good. Finally, the small town at the mouth of the river has very good conditions in terms of tourism, food and trade. It has something to offer. If it is built well, it will definitely attract many Chinese and Vietnamese tourists. It is a pity that it has no characteristics now. It is really a pity.

The home-cooked food offered looked delicious, but being vegetarian, sadly I couldn't try it. The hosts were beyond helpful, going to great lengths to help me sort out transportation problems with by ebike, after I discovered there was no luggage consignment available at Hekou North train station. They were willing to store my bike for free until I returned, but in the end managed to organise transport to Lijiang with a local logistics company which I would never have found myself, after all the major firms refused. Can't praise them enough - wonderful people.

I came on a business trip and found this nice hotel. It is located near Vietnam City, which is convenient for visiting Vietnam City. It is a little far from the city center and takes about 10 minutes by taxi. The room environment is good, the bathroom is spacious, and the price is very high. There are only one or two restaurants nearby, and it is almost impossible to find a place to have a midnight snack after 9pm. Everything else is ok, overall satisfied

Very convenient in every aspect, good. It is very close to the Hekou Port, the Hekou Meter Gauge Railway Laohekou Station and the pedestrian street. It is prosperous but quiet, but you have to go up and down a steep slope. Haha, it is a good exercise.

Good location of Hekou town area where platform’s hostels are mostly located here. Restaurants, cafe, eateries, mini markets, all least 20+outlets are within 1-5mins walk. Hotel unit is of good wifi signal, hot water shower, clean sheets, water boiler for coffee, drinking water dispenser and cable tv for movie choices, perfect for good rest in this Hekou Boarder Town. Safe choice for Solo female backpacker. Highly recommend! P/s: this hotel is the 3rd move in for me within 18 hours with help from trip.com, personally thinks this hotel is great for global backpackers and totally value for money and I’ve extended a night stay to 3 nights to recuperate from traumatised experience of previous lodgings.
