The hotel is located in a lively area on the European side of Istanbul. It is safe to go out for meals until late.

Capital Hotel is small but provides more than expected. Stayed here for a week and was happy with my stay. Very clean rooms and bed sheets are changed every day which not a lot of hotels do. Especially, Bugra was very helpful (works in the reception). I would recommend, 10/10 location

This hotel was an overall delight to visit, within the perfect location having beautiful cafes, supermarkets, ATMs and even well-known sightseeing areas such as the Dolmabahche Palace at walking distance, plus the kind service from staff and in addition, the hotel's own cat which was in fact incredibly calm and cute, I would most definitely recommend staying here!!

Led into a room where the A/C was not working. Having challenged this, we were moved two more times before staying put in a room where it worked but wasn't powerful. The room needed urgent TLC. Paint was coming off in the bathroom, the lamb was falling off the wall and the carpet needed a good clean. Having survived the stay, as we checked out we were asked if we needed a taxi. We said we'd stop one from the main road, however the receptionist said she could call one asap. When it arrived, the driver gave the receptionist money before we got in. We got worried this may come out of our pockets. At the end of our journey, the taxi driver tried requesting 70 tl more, I only gave what the taxi meter had on the screen. Being a fluent Turkish speaker, I wouldn't of allowed this to happen. Can't imagine if a tourist was in my shoes what would have happened.
