Very friendly greeting, lovely man at reception who spoke excellent English. Beautiful room, nice breakfast and perfect location to explore the Golden Horn area. Room very comfortable with air conditioning. Quiet and slept very well.

It feels like the hotel needs more attention and repairs. Some stuff is old, like towels in the bathroom, some works unstable, like toilet flush, some is broken, like window handles. Personnel is very kind though. The restaurant in the garden is very convenient and popular. Nice hotel overall.

What an absolute gorgeous hotel. You would never think that you were staying in the heart of Istanbul whilst staying at the Garden House Hotel. This hotel is ideally located close to the the blue mosque, grand bazaar (which is a unique experience to visit)and many more places of interest. The room that we stayed had a small balcony overlooking the pretty courtyard, the room was decorated in a traditional Turkish style and was spacious, very clean and the bed was super comfy. We had breakfast included with our stay which was lovely, with plenty to chose from. The staff at the hotel were really lovely, and helped us out when we had problems with getting our boarding passes, nothing was too much trouble for them. We decided that we wanted to go on a boat trip during our stay, the hotel offered us information on this and we booked half a day trip which was €50 each, I would highly recommend this trip as it’s a great way to see more of Istanbul, and really interesting. Overall I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

The hotel has long history and well maintained. Got European style vibe. The restaurant was great. Room is clean. Golden location.

Conveniently located, within a ten-minute walk from Hagia Sophia, the Old Palace, the Blue Mosque, etc. The hotel's garden restaurant is really great, breakfast and Chinese food are good, and guests staying in the hotel enjoy a 15% discount on one meal. It is not a four-star hotel at all, not recommended! 1. The bed is very uncomfortable!! A large part of the mattress collapses when you sit down, the bed sheet is not pure cotton, the pillow is sky-high, and the balcony is not sunny all day. 2. We rested with our teenage son at the Garden house hotel for the May holidays for 5 nights. We really liked this beautiful hotel in an old mansion with a beautiful garden courtyard, where we had our breakfasts, and during the day we could have lunch or dinner in the same courtyard in a very elegant restaurant with delicious food, but a rather high price tag) The hotel has a Russian speaker staff - very professional and helpful administrator Alvin and friendly assistant Murad. They helped us with all the questions that arose, and in general the entire hotel staff was very pleasant and responsive. A special touch was caused by a beautiful cat named Bam-Bam (if we named her correctly) who had been living in the hotel for 10 years - the most affectionate cat, every morning after breakfast we had cat therapy, Bam-Bam always basked in a chair in the sun in the lobby) The hotel itself located literally 5-10 minutes from Sultanahmet Square, that is, in the center of the old part of Istanbul. We enjoyed our holiday here, received a lot of positive emotions and hope to return there again!

This is a very good hotel, convenient for food, accommodation and transportation. We arrived in Istanbul on an early morning flight and arrived at the hotel. Unexpectedly, the hotel owner said that a guest in front of us happened to have checked out and we could check in immediately. They also upgraded the room to a room with a hammam for free. The hotel is an old building with a great feel. The location is very good. It is within walking distance from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The breakfast at the hotel is delicious.
