The location is very good that a lots of area of interests are within walking distance. A lots of transportation to choose from, trains, tram and bus are also available. Nice breakfast and paid meals are also good.

The experienced staff were both Friendly and helpful! As I was Traveling late night early morning, I called the hotel for some assistance with a taxi service. They front desk was happy to talk to the driver and even helped me confirm pricing. As a single woman traveling I am wanting to take precautions for my safety. The room was authentic and had a comfortable warmth! The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The location is close to the touristy spots with easy access to public transportation! Travelers be prepared, so many things to see and do-be prepared. I enjoyed the exciting hustle and bustle and with help I found my way on the public ferry to check out the other side for a local experience. I truly enjoyed my stay, Thank you Empire Palace

Good and expedite service, kind staff at the reception desk. Great location next to popular attractions and public transport (bus, tram and metro) in a nice central street. Clean rooms with plenty of storage, space and typical decor.

Toilet has yellowish stains. Same breakfast for 4 days. The lunch and dinner that I paid for were delicious but the complimentary breakfast was not that good and they serve the same breakfast every day.

Difficult access to hotel for disabled people no ramp. But superior room good, comfortable bed, heating, clean and service excellent, wax bit happy with the breakfast given 4 star hotel not much choice sadly

Good hotel, ideally located. In general, everything is fine, the plumbing has been replaced, good water pressure, there is a hair dryer and a refrigerator in the room. Elevator. Free luggage storage. Good Turkish breakfast, Swedish salt from 7.30. But there is a peculiarity with visiting the hamam and sauna! You need to sign up! Sessions are 40 minutes for 2 people. It is not easy to sign up, it is better to do it in advance.

We arrived at the hotel at 8am, and the check-in uncle hadn't come to work yet. The hotel staff warmly invited us to the restaurant for a free breakfast, and then checked us in early. The triple room booked by my family had a very comfortable bed. Although the hotel facilities are relatively old, they are well maintained. The cleaning lady kept our room very clean at all times, and the free mineral water and tissues were also provided in a timely manner. The hotel is in a very good location, 100 meters downstairs is the T1 rail station, it is very convenient to go to major attractions, and across the road is the Municipal Park and the Old Palace.

The box in the room was too small to be opened. The breakfast variety and quality could be better. There were few seats and the space was small. There was no place and I didn’t eat there the next day.

The hotel is located in the old city of Istanbul, with a very convenient city walk. There are many restaurants around and it is very close to attractions such as the Archaeological Museum and Hagia Sophia.

Many people write in reviews about the noisy tram - in fact, it is not that noisy, it did not bother us at all, although we lived on the second floor. And he doesn’t walk at night either. But there was another problem - there was practically no sound insulation from the corridor, so conversations and slamming doors, especially at night, caused some inconvenience. Breakfast is quite monotonous and modest, but overall normal and satisfying. Everything was great with the staff, they checked us in even before our check-in time. There are also Russian-speaking employees for whom this is important. Our room was a triple one, not particularly spacious, but clean and very comfortable for three people, they all had full beds. And we were only in the room to spend the night, otherwise there was no point in going to Istanbul)
