Hotel Shalom Jeju

Dongmun Market / Jeju City Hall Jeju|0.52km from Jeju Folklore and Natural History Museum
I recently had the pleasure of staying at hotel Shalom, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The location of the hotel was simply outstanding. Situated just a 30-minute walk away from both the vibrant street market and the famous black pork street, it offered easy access to the heart of Jeju's cultural and culinary scene. One of the first things that caught my attention upon entering the hotel was its pristine cleanliness. From the spotless lobby to the well-maintained corridors. The room itself was impeccably clean, and I was pleased to find fresh linens and towels waiting for me upon arrival. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. Now, let's talk about the one perplexing aspect of my stay: the absence of curtains in the bathroom. It was an odd design choice that left me scratching my head. While the bathroom itself was clean and functional, I couldn't help but wonder why there weren't any curtains to provide a sense of privacy. It seemed like a minor oversight in an otherwise well-thought-out hotel. Despite this puzzling bathroom setup, I must emphasize that it did not significantly impact my overall experience. The hotel's positive attributes, including its prime location, cleanliness, and friendly staff, more than made up for this minor inconvenience. In conclusion, my stay at this hotel in Jeju was fantastic. Its unbeatable location, coupled with the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff, created a memorable experience. Although the lack of curtains in the bathroom left me somewhat confused, it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of my stay.

I came to do sanitation every day. I was the only one for two nights. I was a little scared. Haha. I don’t want to be noisy and look at my character. I can sleep quietly when I meet a good roommate. The location is indeed a bit inconvenient to go to attractions. However, there are places to buy, buy and buy nearby, and the other side is a local market, and the price of accommodation is cheaper than that in Yeondong. There are disadvantages and advantages. It depends on your choice.

I was in Korea alone. I stayed in higher-priced hotels in the first few days, but I chose this hotel in the last few days. Because I arrived late, I was upgraded to a twin bed (one large bed and one small bed). The hotel is generally older, and the facilities may not be as complete as new hotels, but the price is indeed cheap. The room has a bathtub, four towels, a small refrigerator with two bottles of water, a few clothes hangers in the room, the windows can be opened, and the ventilation is good. Toothbrushes and the like are not provided, so you need to bring your own. Slippers are women's style and are a bit hard. It is best to bring your own slippers. The kettle has a bit of a fishy smell from sea water, so I’m not particularly brave to use it. I commend seheeJang, the girl at the front desk, for her excellent service. She stood up to say hello every time she saw someone, helped call a taxi several times, and stayed outside with me in slippers. I was really worried that she would catch a cold. There is no deposit required for the room. Logically speaking, check-out here is at 11 o'clock, but no one urged me to check out when it was late. This is quite good. I stayed here for three consecutive days. I also had a few meals at the eldest sister's restaurant downstairs. I was in my 40s or 50s at a time, just one dish. I thought it was okay, and the people were quite enthusiastic. It was a good time here. There is a convenience store just one minute away, staffed 24 hours a day, and an ATM machine to withdraw money. It's not far from Jeju Airport and Hamdeok Bathing Beach, and the location is okay.

Very quiet and peaceful area. Cozy room. Soft mattress. The room has a balcony. Bathroom, not just a shower but also a bath :) Heated floors. They asked how to turn on the air conditioner for heating, but they said it is just there but you can’t use it. The room is warm because the floors can be set to the desired temperature. Therefore, they understood why they did not turn on the air conditioning. To cafes or restaurants you will need to rise higher and walk 10 minutes. Because. to the stops. It’s cozy. Liked. Clean and pretty. Modest but very clean spacious room.

There are big beds, there are also single beds, and the sanitation facilities are very good. It is not a reservation for this hotel once, and there is a Chinese reception for easy check-in! There are also art clubs and parks nearby, making it easy to travel! The price is also affordable! No difference from home!

The hotel is very clean. Take the 3001 bus and get off at Sanyuan Elementary School. It will take two minutes to get there. The hotel is very warm, but the soundproofing of the door is not very good. You can hear the sound of the music outside in the room. Everything else is very good~
