Very delicious food and great location

On the outskirts of Kandy, on the top of a mountain. The road up the mountain is steep and rugged, but after entering the hotel, I found it small and exquisite, full of human touch. The restaurant overlooks the Kandy Valley and the scenery is great. It is worth mentioning the service attitude: We brought a child, and basically all hotels add an additional fee of 15-20 dollars, but here we were exempted, and a child's breakfast was given The evening buffet is particularly highlight. I originally wanted to order a la carte, but after repeated persuasion from the manager, I reluctantly ordered the buffet in the mentality of not causing trouble for them, and found that it was an unexpected surprise. It's just... It's really delicate and delicious. Especially after eating a few days of five-star buffets that I can't praise, this place is definitely a surprise. 1. There were a lot of mosquitoes. I called three times for mosquito coils and waited for two hours. When I was about to take a shower, I looked up and found a palm-sized black spider next to the wash basin. This scared me. It must be poisonous. , and there are many large yellow ants 2. The network on the mountain is not good, the wif signal is very poor, and the work software cannot be opened at all. 3. The way up the mountain is difficult and a bit dangerous, so it is not worth the trip. 4. The bedding in the room has a wet smell and the sheets and quilts are not covered. It's fluffy and extremely uncomfortable. 5. The decoration is old and the equipment in the house is old. 800 per night is not a good value for money. 6. Regarding the food, it is relatively fair, but I ordered a curry beef stew and I couldn't bite it. The price is not cheap. A portion of mushrooms Soup is 30rmb, breakfast food is relatively small, and there is basically no staple food. Fortunately, there are eggs, sausages and bread to fill your stomach. 7. Regarding the scenery, regardless of the number of mosquitoes, you can see the sea of ​​clouds when you wake up in the morning. There is a very small green grassland in front of the room, and the air It's not bad, the view is good, this is the only advantage, but the hotel is very small, the way up the mountain is long and difficult to walk, the path is not only rugged but also full of yellow mud. To be honest, it is quite dangerous for unskilled drivers. Overall Not recommended at all, wouldn’t want to come here a second time

The service is very good, the environment is average, the room is very humid and there are big bugs. The advantage is that the location is very good. It is on the top of the mountain in Kandy and has a good view. When you wake up in the morning, you can hear the chanting of Buddha's Tooth Relic Temple and see the morning mist.

Stay at Fox! I would love to share my experience at Fox Resorts, Kandy. From check-in to check-out, the hospitality exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very comfortable, and the food was amazing—especially the view! I also can’t forget the friendly staff at Fox Resorts. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. This was my second visit to FOX Resort Kandy, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. The serene atmosphere, impeccable service, and breathtaking views made my stay truly memorable. We arrived at the stunning hotel and we were greeted with a wonderful decor on our hotel room bed. Therefore we would like to thank the very nice Gobie! He did a great job. The food was very delicious and we really enjoyed the restaurant. We directly enjoyed the beautiful pool and landscape. It is very good that they use glass instead of plastic water bottles. Everything was very clean and had a good quality. Nalinda was also very nice and courteous to us! We can highly recommend the hotel and the people who are working there!

Fox Kandy is a true gem in the heart of Kandy. The views are absolutely spectacular, offering a stunning panorama of the lush surroundings. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The food is top-notch, with each meal being a delicious experience. From the service to the scenery, everything at Fox Kandy is simply outstanding. Highly recommended!

Fox Kandy is a great place to unwind and relax. Meyen, the General Manager and his team was super supportive , flexible and made our stay as a lifetime memory. They are into serious hospitality and never gave us chance to worry. Food choice was limited but the breakfast spread was good. The staffs were polite and very friendly. I will go back to Fox Kandy , maybe to check their property in Jaffna as well.

We just had a lovely stay at Fox Kandy. Spacious, clean rooms, a pool with a marvellous view and excellent breakfast and dinner buffets. Staff is really nice and helpfull with a special shout-out to Goby for talking to the chef and arranging a birthday cake for our daughter!

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel , and it was amazing. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the view of the outside was wonderful .The staffs were polite and very friendly .The breakfast and dinner buffets were amazing and they served a variety of food, and they prepared some dishes upon our request, Highly recommended ❤️❤️

One of the most amazing hotels we have been to in Sri Lanka! The food was fabulous and the staff so helpful!!! Amazing infinity pool and super elegant and clean as ever ma! Definitely recommend as was the highlight of our trip! Thank you for a great time!

We've enjoyed our stay so much at Fox Kandy! The room was very clean, cosy and we loved our window view! The dinner buffet and breakfast were excellent! The staff were all kind and ready to help at all times. Thank you to Gobi for bringing us the anniversary cake. It was perfect
