Very unique experience, totally worth it. Great hospitality, old traditional building, tasty complete kaiseki and breakfast included. Quiet enviroment around hotel, even bamboo forest. I'd stay for 2 nights instead of 1 to rest completely.

Excellent💕 Enjoy a different journey! Thanks! It was our first self-driving trip to Osaka for 5 days. We were not familiar with the road and it felt so far away, but with GPS navigation, we arrived at the hotel very quickly! I notified the hotel by email on the way, and when I arrived at the hotel, it was already 7:30 pm. In the cold weather, I was pleasantly surprised to see the hotel manager (owner?) waiting for us in the parking lot, helping to carry our luggage🧳🙏🏼Thank you so much You 💞

It was my first trip to a ryokan, and I was more satisfied than I thought. The bathroom was outside the room, but I didn't feel uncomfortable at all, and the hot spring was open 24 hours a day, so I was able to bathe whenever I wanted. Dinner is served as a course in your room. They bring Japanese home-style food, but the plating and taste are very light, so I was able to eat without feeling bitten in the middle. A yukata was prepared in the closet of the room, and I was able to bathe in the hot springs and take a walk in the garden wearing the yukata. Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the 1st floor, not room service. When I went to the restaurant at the time I had decided to have breakfast, I ate the food set on the table I was guided to. Like dinner, the food was Japanese home cooking. After dinner, they put a futon in the room while you take a hot spring bath, and in the morning, when you go to breakfast, they remove the futon and move the table. Needless to say, the service was so good and the location was easy to find as it was close to the station. The garden in front was also well maintained and beautiful to look at. Above all, the staff warmly welcomed me, so I was able to stay comfortably and pleasantly.🩷

Perfection. The staff was incredible, the location and setting unparalleled, and the food was impeccable in taste, presentation, and uniqueness. If you want a serene stay in a traditional Ryokan where every need will be met, this is it. Highly recommend the Kaiseki dinners and doing a tea ceremony with the owner of the Ryokan, who is absolutely lovely!

I have been going to Onsen's and Ryokan's for years with my friends from Nagoya. We never had a bad experience until we went to Amami Onsen. The Onsen might be old and historic, but it could be nicely kept up with some effort. The hall way carpets were horribly stained. The welcoming person was very snippy when asked if we can have coffee in the morning. We were booked in a room big enough maybe for 2 people with 3 people. No toilett in the room, it had to be shared down the hall. The bath was a joke, very small and not very clean...The food was, since it was Bamboo season, bamboo, bamboo, bamboo... This would all be fine, if the price point would be third rate....I would not recommend staying there ever. So sad!!!

Attention ! Very unfavorable cancellation conditions. Having had to cancel my night more than 2 weeks before the stay, and despite my various motivated requests, they were inflexible and collected the entire reservation. Sometimes there are unforeseen events during a trip!

I think it's good for people who want to experience a retro atmosphere. There is no bath in the regular room, only a communal bath. There is a special separate room with an open-air bath, but I'm not sure about the other rooms. Well...I could faintly hear the laughter in the next room. It's an old wooden building. The food is delicious. The restaurant apparently trained at a Japanese restaurant in Kyoto, and the yuba dish was good. The owner collects antiques. It seems like it's my hobby so I was able to see a lot of them.

Although the food, the bath, and the waitress were good, the receptionist at the front desk was not very helpful. Too bad😩😞😣

大阪の果ての、現状を忘れてくつろげる空間 堺から移転した建物であることがわかり、凄く風情のある建築物であるように思います。 女将さんはじめ、スタッフが凄く明るく丁寧なので、いいたびになりました。
