A great location walking distance to the temple complex. Very clean and spacious rooms with a view of the temples. The breakfast was good. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is located on the north side of the Khajurahosi temple complex, next to the museum. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the entrance of the West Temple Group, and six to seven minutes to the exit.
The hotel garden environment is very good, but the decoration is a bit old. The facilities in the room are relatively complete and basically in good condition, except that the toilet tank is a little leaky. The air conditioner can't hit very low temperature, but it is enough. There is no need to book a room with a temple view, because the view is not very good.
The breakfast is amazing, à la carte buffet, the best I've had in India. Freshly squeezed juice, freshly ground coffee, freshly made eggs, roast sausage, hash browns, and bread and cake baskets are all of good quality. For lunch, I ordered bacon and mushroom pasta and Caesar salad, which are also very good. The Caesar salad is the most authentic I have ever eaten in India.
The service is very good, from the front desk to the guest room to the restaurant, with a good attitude and quick response, trying to meet the needs of the guests.
All in all, the price of more than 600 is worth it!

Der Service war hervorragend, sehr aufmerksames Personal und das Essen im Restaurant vorzüglich, viele typische Indische Gerichte, aber auch internationale Speisen. Das Frühstück war ebenso Indisch-International. Das Hotelzimmer sehr schön und sauber. Wir haben ein Junior Suite gebucht und haben eine Riesen Suite bekommen mit 2,5 Zimmern, einem riesen grossen grosszügigen Bad und einem Ausblick in den Garten. Wir haben auch eine Massage gebucht - diese war fantastisch und sehr preiswert, sehr empfehlenswert. Einziger Minuspunkt: es hatte 2 grossen Reisegruppen und daher war es im Restaurant sehr laut.

Very nice hotel. Very well cared. Personal is very attentive, always taking care of us. Rooms are clean and neat. Vnay, same as the restaurant chef and servers, were very attentive and with us, also the rest of the team. Raviandra always welcomed us nicely. Very nice experience and beautiful temples and city.

Stay at The Lalit was one of the highlights of our trip. Located in proximity to other sightseeing places, the Hotel has amazing hospitality, lovely ambience, prompt service and great food here! They allowed us to stay a little longer when our train got delayed for few hours. Thanks Team.

What a wonderful stay and a start to 2025! Amazing Food, super helpful, courteous and polite staff! The cleanliness maintained is Top Notch. Spa service and Pool is awesome too! We were already super impressed and then it just got so better! Our train got delayed by a massive 8 hours and Vinay, the Manager, was super helpful to allow our check out those hours at no extra charges at all! This is such a rare occurrence in the hospitality industry and a pleasant surprise! GOD BLESS THIS HOTEL AND THE STAFF HERE! All peeps going to Khajuraho, look no further than Lalit as your stay option!

Staff was very helpful and friendly (Vinay, Ravindra, everyone else). Room was clean and comfortable. Very pleasant atmosphere overall. The breakfast are plentiful and the restaurant staff helpful. The ground are well kept and the swimming pool / spa / gym were very nice to have. Thank you!
