Afdeling reserveren is afgesplitst van het hotel, bij aankomst denk dan niet dat het goedgkomen is met je reservering. Je hebt geluk als je eenmalige hebt. Management is amateuristisch. Restaurant is ook outsourced, geen half pension boeken, het eten is slecht. Er zijn geen gemeenschappelijke ruimtes beschikbaar na 17.00 voor hotelgasten behalve een donkere ruimte die veel te klein is. Het enige dat goed is zijn de kamers. Geloof alleen niet dat de foto’s een beeld geven van dit hotel; het is een oud traditioneel gebouwtje en er is geen wellness of iets hips. Geneigder waarom het 4 sterren heeft….

Das Mondschein ist ein traditionsreiches, gemütliches Hotel mit super Lage mitten im Skigebiet, 2 Minuten zum Lift. Wir waren zwar ohne Skier da, aber das hat der Sache keinen Abbruch getan. Unsere Zimmer (Double Smart) waren klein, aber fein, sehr gemütlich und dabei geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Schöner Spa-Bereich im 1. Stock. Zuvorkommendes, sehr nettes Personal - und ein top Frühstück. Gegessen haben wir abends in der Alten Gaststube, das war fantastisch, ganz große Empfehlung (neue Gastro, neues Team seit Dezember, lohnt sich sehr) und noch in der Bar abgehangen, es gibt auch Clubabende an bestimmten Tagen. Nächstes Mal nehmen wir die Skier mit!

Wir hatten eines der kleineren Zimmer, die aber dank geschickter Einrichtung völlig ausreichend und sehr angenehm sind. Alles sauber und mit guter Atmosphäre. Auch der Sauna-Bereich ist zwar klein aber fein! Einzig eine Schwall- oder Eimerdusche wäre noch schön gewesen :-) TIPP: nur mit Frühstück buchen und dann in Mondschein's alter Gaststube à la carte essen! Sterne-Koch Joshua Leise ist dort der neue Küchenchef - ein wirkliches Geschmackserlebnis zu fairen Preisen (für Arlberg-Verhältnisse sogar SEHR fair!) - unbedingt nach der Chef s-Empfehlung fragen! Auch das Frühstück vom Buffet mit selbstgeräuchertem Speck, hausgemachten Marmeladen und selbstgebackenem Brot ist ein Gedicht - tolle Auswahl, hervorragender Geschmack und aufmerksames Personal! ....einfach zum Wohlfühlen! Wir werden sicher wiederkommen!

Ich habe einen herrlichen Sommerurlaub im Chalet Mondschein in Stuben am Arlberg verbracht und kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die klimaneutralen Suiten sind nicht nur wunderschön eingerichtet, sondern bieten auch jeglichen Komfort, den man sich wünschen kann. Die Private SPA Suite mit eigener Sauna und offenem Kamin war ein echtes Highlight. Die großen Panoramafenster bieten einen fantastischen Blick auf die Berge. Auch im Sommer ist die Umgebung ideal für Outdoor-Aktivitäten. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen!

Perfect hotel for skiing. It is a 5-minute walk to the Albona cable car. There is a separate ski room in which each room number has its own locker. There is a ski boot warmer in the locker. The hotel has a large wellness area with 3 saunas and 2 relaxation rooms, which is open daily between 4 and 7 p.m. It is advisable to book the larger room. The breakfast buffet is extensive and egg dishes are prepared to order. With half board there is a choice of one meat and one vegetarian dish; if you can't find anything there is Wiener Schnitzel. You can park your car for free in a car park near the Albona cable car; you can get a parking permit for this at reception.

Great hotel, chalets have super views over the village and the valley and servíce is warm and friendly. Nadia and Rasmus in particular very helpful and knowledgeable. DJ night in the bar on Fridays is a blast. Access to slopes via lift from chalets makes it all very easy.

This was our third stay at this lovely and historic hotel. Stuben is an undiscovered gem and the new gondola lift from the village has significantly improved access into the main lift system. The bedrooms are clean and perfectly comfortable and we love the huge photographs of the mountains above Stuben taken in the 1930's. The hotel has made big improvements to the ski room, the spa area, the kitchen, a private dining room and the lift. All making a big difference. But Marcus the owner and the hotel staff are still as friendly helpful and charming as ever. We will be back!
