The Sky Hotel is near Imago shopping mall. You can easily call a grab car to there. The staff is nice and friendly. They upgrade my room from superior king suite to bedroom suite. My family is very grateful and happy to stay here. The air conditioner is not very cold, need to wait and on for long hours. The breakfast is many choices and food is tasty.

I recently stayed at Mercure Kota Kinabalu, and my overall experience was a mixture of positives and negatives. The hotel's ambiance and service were generally acceptable, but a couple of aspects left me with a less than perfect impression. On the positive side, the room, although not the promised city view, was comfortable and well-maintained. The amenities provided were standard and met our basic needs for a short stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, adding a pleasant touch to our overall experience. However, one notable drawback was the discrepancy in the room description. Despite being assured of a city view, we were assigned a room overlooking the opposite facing the busy road. While this may seem like a minor issue, it did impact our overall satisfaction, as the promise of a particular view was one of the factors influencing our choice. Another inconvenience was the lack of dedicated parking facilities at the hotel. This meant that my husband had to purchase parking coupons daily, adding an unexpected expense to our stay. Moreover, the strict enforcement of parking regulations by 8 am posed a challenge, especially for guests who preferred to start their day later. In conclusion, Mercure Kota Kinabalu is a decent choice for a short stay, offering comfortable accommodations and friendly service. However, potential guests should be aware of potential discrepancies in room assignments and the absence of on-site parking facilities, which may affect the overall convenience and cost of their stay.

Over all are very good experience. Room was clean and tidy, value for money. Ideal location, near seafood eateries. The breakfast buffet spread is excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The Le Meridien KK a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay for a relaxing vacation. The location is just perfect, right at the city centre, facing the sea. Beautiful sunset view!! There are many places to eat within walking distance and the big malls are just 10mins away by Grab. The staff were very polite and always so helpful with suggestions of places to eat and shop. Great place to stay in KK!

This hotel located in very good location. Very clean and no weird smell from the carpet. Toilet so big c/w bathtub. My family quiet happy stay here for 2 nights. Only foods for breakfast and dinner should be more improve from the taste and varity especially for spicy foods. Overall we are satisfied. Thank you Grandis Hotel make our holiday comfort and happy.

We stayed two nights on 17 & 18 March'24. Booked a seaview room. Room is big though not new. It is still very comfortable. Location is good.. walk pass two buildings. Will reach Suria shoppjng mall. Just cross one traffic junction.. ***a street with good food. But we had bad experience with check out on 19 March at 11.25am. There was only one malay lady recep. No other staff in sight. I cannot believe it...this one receip is helping with ang moh with general queries. I had to interrupt because i need to reach airport within 2 hours ahead of departure time. This ang moh very rude not happy that i took abit of the recep's time. I did say sorry n excuse us. Just to drop my room key to check out. First time i met such ungentleman behaviour.

The check in time took almost half an hour and I already booked through online. Suppose to be short time since already booked online. Room is spacious and comfortable. Food buffet for breakfast is deliciously satisfying. Sauna is currently under maintenance.

The staff is very nice & efficient. We noted it’s a smoking room after check-in, and the staff arranged another non-smoking room for us as requested upon booking. The swimming pool locates on the rooftop, with a rooftop bar & restaurant. Located near the city center, close to lots of local food & restaurants.

Superior twin room, just right for 2 pax. Window is small, air pressure is low and the temperature of the water is either cold or too hot. The carpark entrance, sometimes, is blocked by those removable cones, you have to go down from your car to remove it. We have to wait for quite some time when we checked in at 3pm. Location is convenient and staff is friendly. Overall, a basic, clean hotel.
