Golden Triangle Kuala Lumpur|0.15km from Etiqa Academy
I stayed for five night in this place and had a good experience overall. The rooms are small but clean and everyday Housekeeping guys were doing a fantastic job to keep our rooms plesentable. Bathroom is well cleaned and water pressure is so good and also it has hot water all the time. This hotel is located in the middle of a bazaar sorting area and if you are a shopping person you can easily walk to the supermarkets and supermarkets such as Mydin, Hanieefa and Lulu. Also its 2 min walking distance to Masjid India metro station and from their it won't take more than 10 min to reach KLCC, Aquaria KLCC and other places. Tip - There is no any nice window view but you can observe the market area in front and I enjoyed it. Breakfast is not so good, the layout is ok.. but all the foods are two oily and they serve pre fried egg in buffet and it become all harden of you come late for the breakfast. And there is no much difference in all five days. We took breakfast outside for two days cuz of that. There are plenty of restaurants around where you can have your breakfast. So you better book without breakfast. When you book a grab make sure you change your location to the nearest road as there is no direct access to the hotel by a vehicle. The cafe is close early (around 5 p.m) but don't worry it's always better to try plenty of restaurants outside. Overall it's a nice place to stay. Hats off to Housekeeping team.

I have decided to try W Hotel when I saw they had a great deal on weekdays and since I had some spare days off, my friends and I decided to try it out. The team had been extremely helpful especially when I had booked the members rate and realized it was for room only and we wanted to have breakfast because we heard it was great. I dropped a message to the Facebook page and they were quick to respond and assist with this. Not only were they wonderful in responding, they even managed to get us complimentary breakfast for our rooms. I couldn’t have asked for more! The rooms were amazing, especially the ones facing KLCC and the complimentary chocolates were delicious. I tried using the phone to ask for additional pillows but weren’t able to get anyone on hold, however after checking the Marriott app, I was able to place an order for pillows and extra amenities and it was quickly delivered to my room. Truly a wonderful app to compliment the stay. W Insider Kristine was also kind enough to drop me a message on WhatsApp to check on me and it was certainly a great surprise. Breakfast at Flock was truly deserving, it was not the full setup primarily because of the more quieter time of the week, but service was immaculate. Everyone at the restaurant were attentive and helpful, especially Ben who kept checking in on us. Thank you once again for the wonderful stay W, hope to be able to visit again and next time make full use of the pool.

A new hotel that is old. I decided to stay for 2 nights because the evaluation on the net was high. However, when I went there, I had to wait 30 minutes in front of the front desk at check-in. I think it's okay to say a word, but I was disappointed because I didn't seem to be in a hurry and was calm. What surprised me was that I requested a deposit of 100 ringgit and ”in cash”. Normally it would be a credit card. Unfortunately, when I visited the hotel, I was short of ringgit on hand, and I had only one 100RM banknote and less than 50RM of small money, and the rest were Japanese yen and US dollars. After all, more than two-thirds of my money was taken at the front desk. Even if you are told to ”return later”, it would be a problem if you returned the ringgit just before returning to Japan, and it is not always convenient to go to a money changer immediately after check-in. In the first place, it is unreasonable and strange to take a deposit that does not make sense, such as a deposit. I have already paid the accommodation fee, but I wonder what I want to do by collecting a refund deposit anyway. Well, other hotels also make deposits, so even if you overlook it, you won't be able to pay anything with cash. From the standpoint of travelers who want to avoid unnecessary currency exchange as much as possible, it is unreasonable. What would you do if you had fewer ringgits on hand? Are you forced to exchange money? That is the lack of service spirit. I feel a strong resentment. When I moved to the room, I noticed that it was functional because it was young, but there were no windows. After all, if there is no window in one place, the feeling of blockage is strong. All amenities are provided, but there are no hand towels, bathrobes, bathtubs, toothbrushes, hair dryers, shoehorns, slippers, or refrigerators. One thing I found convenient was that the international power plug at the bedside had a USB socket. There is only something new there. Amenity is not bad compared to hotels in the same price range. However, I was surprised that the voices of children making noise in the corridor and the roaring noises were ”out of the box” into the room. I thought that the structure was sweet, and when I looked at the surface of the inner wall, I felt that the construction was rough. The diet needs total improvement. The chairs in the dining room are made of plastic and cheap like those found in food stalls. Although it is a large hotel, it has a small repertoire and no soups or salads. The Malay meal was welcome to me, but what if the guest didn't like it? There is only one type of bread. The only drinks were coffee, tea and orange juice. Light orange juice, like melted powdered drinks, is particularly terrible and not drinkable. By the way, the waiter does not return a greeting. If this is the case, it would be better to stop serving breakfast and focus on other places. Baggage check-in after check-out is very polite. It is managed with individual tags in a locked private room with a surveillance camera. I'm glad about this. Overall, it's hard to recommend this hotel as it is. Meals and deposits are too terrible. The cost performance may be high, but considering that check-in costs 100RM, which is equivalent to one night in a single room, I would pay 1.5 to 2 times to upgrade the hotel. I regret that I should have done so. Each person has different values, so you can choose according to your wishes, but this time I probably made the wrong choice. It's a shame.

This is our second time here. We got a room in the 8th floor (the lift only goes to the 7th and then you have to walk up). Room a bit dated but the bed is king sized (and super comfy). We have a tiny window looking at the backlane. Bathroom clean and shower damn strong (yeay!). Although in centre of town the room is surprisingly quiet(another yeay). Plus of this hotel. Location 10m from masjid jamek LRT station, 100m from dataran KL. Best place to stay if you're attending any event in dataran Minus point: limited (almost none) parking, plus I had to go up one flights of stairs Overall: 5 star. Will definitely come again

The room as a whole is fine, but my biggest gripe with this place is the bed headboard. It’s not made of wood or some other durable material as I would expect, but some sort of fabric. A type of fabric that needs to be washed, but you can’t stick a headboard into a washing machine. So the headboard had light stains and a really unpleasant odor. I tried my best to not touch it with my head or pillow when sleeping. I was not a fan of the all-in-one shampoo/body wash/hand soap liquid in the bathroom, but I survived. If those two things changed, I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this hotel.

Disappointing given previous reviews. I guess you get what you pay for… Let’s start with some positives - the location is great, with good transport links and walking distance from many of the major sights. The reception staff are friendly, however they don’t have answers for basic things like where the nearest laundry service is or where you can get vegetarian food near by. The communal area is very small, so it’s difficult to meet other travellers. Although there’s free tea and coffee, there’s no filter water or even the ability to buy it from the front desk, so of you run out of bottled water in the middle of the night, then good luck! It also means, it’s not particularly environmentally friendly, as you’re having to purchase plastic bottles. The rooms are small. Not particularly clean, with stained sheets. The privates do have a desk if you’re working remotely. But the wifi isn’t very good. The mattress is uncomfortable. On the plus side, there is air conditioning. It is very noisy from the street traffic, so make sure you bring ear plugs!
