Nice location with a good view of the Lake. Dinner and breakfast buffet offered a good variety of food. Had an enjoyable stay. Would love to visit again

Front desk staff greeting in good english, letting us know a firework at 20:30. Nice spacious hotel room, yet facing mountain side, no special view. Busy hotel restaurant, not easy to get a seat or get some food, queuing up everywhere, limited choice of food. Location wise, good.

Although hotel abit old fashioned but buffet spread for breakfast and dinner was good. Bonus point is the onsen which was very quite big n well equipped

This hotel is aged hotel , the old wings room are too old fashion . I suggest them need to renovation the old wings (JADE)

Even though functional, the hotel needs a major refurbishment. Cramped bathroom, old faucets, horrible shower head and no air conditioning (or not turned on). We got a good deal so it’s bearable. But for 40000 yen, it’s not worth your money, although lake facing rooms have pretty view.

The location was great and the view of Lake Akan from the window was beautiful. There was a wide variety of food options for both breakfast and dinner, and everything was delicious.

The room is dilapidated and the bed is dirty. I think there are bed fleas biting me🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 Food is ok 😌

Located right next to Lake Akan, the buffet options for dinner and breakfast are many and rich, and their hot spring equipment is quite sufficient, especially the open-air hot spring that impressed me! How happy it is to be able to soak in a hot spring fitting room under the starry sky!

I go there almost every year, and it's a great hot spring resort as it's only two and a half hours from Obihiro.

The new Akan Hotel has a very good location, with convenient parking and beautiful scenery. You can walk to the lake within walking distance. There are also small shops nearby for shopping or shopping. The breakfast and dinner are sumptuous and delicious, and the mixed soup on the top floor is not to be missed.

The hotel's services, facilities, and meals are all OK, but the equipment is old and has no plugs.

The attitude of the front staff upon arrival was very bad. When I was choosing between 17:00 and 19:00 for dinner, I was told that I thought it would be quite crowded at 19:00, but I thought it was okay and chose 7:00, but she looked at me with surprise and said, "It will be crowded at 7:00, right? Is that okay?" '' he said sarcastically. If it doesn't work, don't present it as an option from the beginning! It's exhausting. This is not the way to treat customers who have come from far away. If you don't like the hospitality industry, you should just quit... The hot springs and room were very nice. Dinner was okay, probably due to a lack of staff, there was no seating guidance.
