Hotel staff is friendly and can speak some english. The room is sizeable for 2 person. There is no wardobe so you need to hang your clothes on the wall. The hotel provides clothes freshener which you can spray onto your clothes as well. Also noticed that they provide some shoe shine and equipment in the room as well, probably to cater to business travellers). There are also complimentary bath salts which you can take from the reception. The coffee, tea and soft drinks at the lounge/breakfast area on the 1st storey are also complimentary. Downside is that the hotel is located a little far from Kyoto Station (about 15mins walk) so it is better to take a bus (about 10mins journey). The cleanliness can be improved as well. There is a slight stain on the comforter in our room and we noticed some dirt on the carpet near the foot of the bed, and also some sticky residue on the underside of the table (when we tried to shift the table). It was probably missed out during housekeeping. The pillow is rather flat and not the most comfortable too. Nonetheless, the hotel is decent for the price paid.

Great hotel! Friendly staff, happy hour - unlimited alcohol for one hour from 7pm to 9pm. Clean, comfortable room with all the amenities, even a bathroom. If we are in Kyoto - we will come back here, I really liked the hotel. The breakfast is varied and delicious, you can drink coffee or other drinks at other times. Highly recommend! Comfortable bed and toilet.

It is a very cost-effective hotel. The price is not cheap in Kyoto during the cherry blossom season, but it is acceptable. Service: The staff are quite enthusiastic. The ********* lady at the front desk is very nice and can communicate in Chinese. There is also a Japanese girl who is also very cute and patient. Other staff members can communicate in English without any obstacles. Facilities: Although the room is facing the street, it is also quiet. The bed and pillow are very comfortable and I slept well. Most of the guests are European, American and Japanese guests. If I want to stay near Kyoto Station next time, I will choose this hotel again.

It is a dog-friendly hotel; there is a ********* lady at the front desk who speaks Chinese and Japanese, and the check-in is smooth and the staff is friendly; the hotel has a low-key appearance, and there is a bus stop just a few dozen meters away when you turn left; the service is generally good, and the restaurant provides free drinks.

Good location, very convenient to the meeting place to go to Kyoto and Nara with the group. I stayed for one day and it was generally good. It was cost-effective and the location was good

It's nice to drink alcohol during happy hour... .The location isn’t bad, but it’s a bit off to the side… ..All buses nearby run well… .. The staff is friendly and you can drink unlimited alcohol for an hour… … It was good for the price. It had a nice view of Kyoto Tower haha.

The hotel is between Gojo and Shichijo, not far from Kyoto Station and the National Museum. The service staff of the hotel are very friendly. There are comic books on the first floor. There is an hour of free drinking every night. Coffee drinks are free. The room is clean.

I liked that the hotel was clean and friendly. It's not far from the station, so access is good. It's close to Kamogawa, so it's easy to go to an izakaya.

There are stains on the quilt, the attitude is extremely bad, and the hygienic conditions are so poor, I can't imagine that this is a hotel in Japan.

If you stay for 2 nights, towels are only provided once... which wasn't great. We had to add 300 yen per person. There was an English-speaking staff member at check-in time, and the location was a light walk from Kyoto Station! I had a good rest
