Yunting Yishan Boutique Homestay (Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village) Reviews

This hotel is strategically located near west entrance so we only need to walk for 100m with our luggage without the need to climb any staircase. The hotel owner is so helpful and friendly, she even gave us free upgrade to room with Miao Zai perfect view. The free breakfast(mi xian) is very yummy too.

The location is easy to reach and near the electric car shuttle service to go back and forth into the Miao Village. The breakfast fits us well: noodle, bun and egg, also soya bean as the drink. Ms. Jin Hai Yen helped us a lot from picking us up from the west gate to the homestay and gave direction and a lot of information although we have language barrier as we can not speak Chinese language. Their room is clean and bedsheets are also clean. We certainly would come back to stay there if we ever visit the place again in the future.

As I did not have the wetchat ， the receptionist meet me nearby the drop off point after entering the main entrance after ticketing. She gave me a free upgrade to compensate the free gift wine which out of stock. The room is huge and bright.Very near to the observation deck and convenience to go the main paddy field from hotel. Hotel is under renovation,a little noisy and dusty.Room insulation and WiFi is weak. However the receptionist is helpful.

Yunting Yishan Boutique B&B is worth having. The hotel is clean and sanitary, and the location is very good. It is just above the observation deck. It is very quiet to sleep at night. The lady at the front desk is also very gentle [happy] [happy] [happy]

The room is clean, the environment is good, the service is 0K, the boss also provided me with a free trial of Miao clothing, and I also tasted their homemade rice wine. They can also do travel photography, 👍👍👍.

Very satisfying accommodation experience. Cheap price. Bedding and utensils are of high standard. The balcony has a panoramic view of the whole village. The view at night is especially beautiful! The owner also provides free ethnic costumes, homemade rice wine, and breakfast. There is also a free photo spot on the roof, which is great!!!

Location: If you enter and exit from the west gate, the location is very good. The west gate is at the top of the mountain, the hotel and the observation deck are halfway up the mountain, and the wind and rain bridges and large and small attractions are at the foot of the mountain. In fact, there are countless homestays at the foot of the mountain, but because I don’t want to climb the stairs, I chose to live halfway up the mountain. This time it seems that living halfway up the mountain is better. Although there are few shops around, it is close to the observation deck. Service: The front desk is very good, they will call in advance, and they will also tell you the travel route tirelessly. Homemade rice wine: Free.

The sanitary environment is average. I specifically noted that it should be cleaned when placing the order, but it was still average. You can't see the scenery of the Miao village at all when you stay there. You can only see the mountain in front of you. After checking in, probably because it is a wooden house, the sound insulation is very poor. At two o'clock in the morning, you can still hear the sound of vehicles outside. Around 7:30 in the morning, people upstairs walked around, and it was clear (you can tell the number of steps and guess what they are doing). The structure of the house is unstable. When walking upstairs, the wall by the window is shaking. In terms of hardware, the toilet is not fixed, the window is not closed tightly, and there is no shower head for bathing (I found it after searching for a long time). There is only one advantage, which is that it is close to the west gate. You can get there by taking the scenic area bus and exercise appropriately. But some stores can be reached directly by car, so you don't have to walk. The service is just average. After checking in, I went back around 1 o'clock in the morning, and there was no one there, so I couldn't find anything, but it was normal that there was no one in the homestay. In addition, when I booked on Ctrip, it said that there were fruits and rice wine, but in fact there were none. I still asked for a small bottle of rice wine. Secondly, the travel photography situation. We booked this place to take photos of the internet celebrity Yunting, even if they cooperated with Yunting travel photography. For travel photography, they must book a hotel before giving you a quote. There are coupons for check-in, and the quote is more expensive than on-site. Secondly, there are really many travel photography in Miao Village, and Yunting travel photography is quite expensive. According to the online communication, makeup fees need to be added, so I didn't go to take the photos. Finally, I don't recommend accommodation and travel photography.

The hotel is built on the mountain, surrounded by trees, with fresh air, calling out bursts of birdsong and fragrance of flowers, making people intoxicated by the beautiful picture. The room facilities are complete, clean and tidy, and the service is superb.

The staff is warm and considerate, the toilet has a smart heated toilet, the hotel has its own popular viewing platform where you can take photos and check in, there are also many delicious foods and Miao clothing rentals nearby, I'll come again next time!

The breakfast platform says that it ends at 10 am. I went there at 9:01 and said that it was gone. They said that it was gone at 9 o'clock (then why did they write 9 o'clock on the platform) 7. The curtains in the room are not light-blocking. They are a thin layer The store said that if you are not satisfied, you can cancel the reservation. It was 9 o'clock in the evening. I dragged a lot of luggage. How can I cancel? I am really speechless. If I can give negative points, I will give negative 10 points. It was too annoying to stay on New Year's Eve. ps: I complained to Ctrip, and Ctrip's after-sales service was pretty good, thumbs up. Let's talk about the scenic spot: 1. It takes at least 40 minutes to walk from the West District parking lot to the hotel to the first stop of the sightseeing bus 2. This kind of scenic spot still charges 110 tickets. I don't know what they think, I can only say it's a huge pit

The room was nice, the observation deck was nice too, the scenery was great, the luggage was really heavy, when I booked it I asked if I could move the luggage, when we first arrived the guy was very nice and helped us move the luggage, but when we left it was probably too early so the guy was not there, another girl helped us move one and we carried the other up by ourselves, we were tired from playing and there were a lot of stairs so it was really tiring. But the breakfast was delicious and the grandma who made the breakfast was super nice!!! They also gave me the photos I took, which were also good.
