Hotel was clean and some basic amenities were given, decent lobby decor and oxygen provision. This is where the positives end. Shower temperature is extremely inconsistent, one moment its hot, and another its cold, there is no difference between moving the valve from the hot to cold end, and on other days the water is so hot it could cook ramen. Bed was not made once during the long stay, and random cleaning towels were still left in the room. It is a noted in the room description, but there is an AC system which used to work that now is defunct, guest laundry is extremely minimal with only one functional washer and many options of it (like drying) don’t work despite having buttons for it. Location is horrible, the entire area towards the rest of lhasa and around the hotel is dirt and muddy roads, dangerous for walking and biking. The stores and businesses nearby are mostly unhygienic food or very basic. Service and hospitality is just ok, maybe a bit worse. The boss had an attitude checking in, nothing remarkable about the interactions. Do not book this slightly run down and definitely minimally providing hotel for the incredible prices of their rooms. Not worth it.
