Firstly, we marked it is honeymoon stay but there is no gesture of welcoming you for a honeymoon stay at all.
We booked £310 for Deluxe Room per night in a rural area. They allowed us early check in but they don’t even write us a card for honeymoon stay or anything.
We booked the restaurant at £80 per head but the menu is totally different from what shown online. It is not professional at all.
They front office is also unfriendly to Chinese and the staff has a sense of hierarchy. I felt disgusting for it.
The only good thing is the breakfast.

Food was expensive, service and quality was poor. Bathroom in garden suite flooded. Wait staff had hygiene problem which was really off putting. Overall just disappointing as the rooms are very nice. But I wouldn’t pay the amount they ask for! Breakfast was particularly disappointing

From the moment you arrive through to departure the staff were always on hand providing a friendly and professional service. The rooms are exceptional and the restaurant met the highest standards. I doubt you could find a better place in the Cotswolds at any time of the year.

Romantic getaway
Superb hotel. Excellent staff, friendly and welcoming. Excellent dinner. Highly recommended for a special occasion.
Bed was comfy. Room was spacious and very well maintained.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and we absolutely LOVED our stay. We only stayed one night but had a great time. The staff is so kind and lovely. We had tea instead of dinner and it was our favorite meal on our whole trip. We loved the scones and both think they were the best scones we ever had.

We had seen the hotel on TV featuring the festive afternoon tea so we drove 2 hours down to sample it. Its a beautiful building set in some magnificent surroundings. Unfortunately though due to a wedding being on we were ushered away into a rather bland dining room that wasn't festive at all, not even any Christmas songs on. The menu was filthy and our two chairs stained. The tea was very disappointing , at no point were we offered a "refresh" of sandwiches or scones . The turkey and cranberry with stuffing was particularly poor. It looked like reconstituted turkey you get in slices from a supermarket, the stuffing was tasteless and as stiff as cardboard. The scones wee really doughy and the cakes way too sweet . On the plus point the service was very good and the staff very pleasant. At £99 for 2 including a 10% Service Charge I found it very expensive and certainly not worth the money. Unfortunately we won't be returning
