The location was lovely, but we were somewhat let down by both the price we paid and the quality of the hotel. It appeared aged, with several amenities in need of maintenance or replacement. However, the staff, particularly those at the front desk, room service, and bell desk, were exceptional and quite professional. Despite their efforts, my room seemed to have accumulated dust in the corners and under the furniture, which may have been exacerbated by the peak season rush. Will I suggest this hotel or return for another stay? The response hinges on the price.

Room is bigger and nice view facing to the river. the room is nice just the toilet a bit smelly if the staff clean properly is better then the toilet will look good. the staff can improve for the cleaning. the staff at receptionist friendly always show your smile. we will ome back stay again at your hotel.

This place was very cozy and clean. I love its environment. Their front desks person were very helpful and cheerful. It has a lot of parking spaces but a bit scary as it is not fully completed yet. Otherwise, you can park in front of the hotel (first come first serve). Overall, I recommend this Amber Cove for you to stay 🫰

It was a pleasant experience. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth. True to their name, the Perfect Host staff guided us to our room and demonstrated how to use the digital door lock. He's really kind. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a hairdryer, iron, fresh mattress, and towels, and the shower gel smells nice. However, it would be nice if they provided shower cap. (You can roll down/up the curtain of the shower area, as the wall of shower area linked to bedroom is made of glass) Convenience is a big plus, with a mamak and nasi ayam restaurant (鸡粒饭)just downstairs (it's lucky for us to see one of the beautiful MYfm DJ having her foodie program if not mistaken taken during breakfast at the restaurant). Several malls, including Mahkota Parade, Dataran Pahlawan Megamall, and Hatten Square, are within walking distance. You can easily grab a ride to Jonker Street at night or simply enjoy a 15-min walk from the hotel. The area is breezy in the evenings, and there are a few massage centers nearby. The highlight of my stay was the rooftop swimming pool – with the nice view, I really enjoyed it. Overall I had a great time, and would recommend this hotel to everyone for a staycation.

They are not lying when they said unlimited breakfast buffet from 7am till 12pm. This is the most great thing about this hotel. Their view is beautiful. Like others mentioned, we can see melaka river cruise at night from the balcony. Other than that, facilities in children a bit wear out already. However we did enjoy the pool because it’s quite big. The adult pool have infinity view but slightly poor in cleanliness.

We stayed at the TF Riverside for a night in May. This happened to be during Ramadan. The entrance from the street has steps up to reception (there is a steepish ramp, too steep for a wheelchair unless assisted by a strong person). We were able to check in without any issues. There's a car park under the hotel but there is no direct access from the car park into the hotel. We were allocated rooms on the 3rd floor overlooking the main road rather than the riverside. The lifts were functional but a little bumpy. The hotel was refurbished about a year ago, and whilst what is there is clean and OK, it's more towards a budget set up, and the furniture looked fairly tired. However a really basic annoyance in the room was the lack of and location of power outlets. There was a power outlet just above the floor level behind the fridge, and another about 1m above the floor halfway between the bed and the window in the middle of nowhere. The kettle (provided in the room) couldn't be plugged in unless you held it in mid-air whilst boiling or moved furniture to the outlet between the bed and window, or you moved the fridge. Whilst I can understand that the cost of moving power outlets isn't a minor thing, surely this should have been sorted out when the hotel was refurbed about a year ago? And could easily be mitigated for limited expense by providing a couple of multi-outlet power bars to provide desktop power by the fridge and bedside. The bathroom was again clean but fairly basic. Oh, and the hot water was barely warmer than ambient temperature both evening - which we reported the receptionist - but the issue still persisted the next morning. We had booked two rooms, and the power and hot water issues were the same in both rooms. After checking in we left the hotel for a wander aroound the city - which is gorgeous, and easily walkable from the hotel. As we left the hotel and walked initally along the riverside we could see an Iftar buffet being set up by the hotel on their riverside dining area, and the selection of food looked to be impressive and comprehensive. We got back to the hotel having had dinner elsewhere with friends and saw the tail end of the Iftar buffet, and looked forward to our breakfast the next morning. However, we were to be disappointed. When we got down for breakfast the next monring, we were presented a menu card of five items, of which two - the nasi lemak and rice porridge congee were unavailable. We've been at hotels when low occupancy means it's uneconomic to run a full buffet, and I completely understand this - but usually in these situations you get presented a decent list of whats available and a commitment provided they have the ingredients within reason they will try their best to make something for you. Considering what we had seen the previous evening we knew the hotel could do seriously good food, and the previous reviews of the good food back this up. Very practical location within walking distance to many attractions and Jonker Walk. 7-11 right next door with a few food outlets and the crazy cheap price is a great reason to stay here. The buffet breakfast is good for the price. I had tater tots. Love it. Only gripe, the water pressure in my room is pretty low.

We stayed 5 nights in a double room. The location is great and it is cheap - 2 good points of this hotel. The room was run down as was the whole hotel. It is in need of a reno. Paint peeling, bathroom door damaged and there were leaks in the bathroom from the hose near the toilet. The toilet/shower were all in one in our room so the water from the shower went over everything. The shower was hot though so that was good. The AC was cold which was also nice. The room was quite cramped and unfortunately it doesn't match the pictures on the internet. First 2 days there was no real breakfast supplied as I think there were very few guests so they didn't bother apart from asking if we would like eggs. I had fried eggs both mornings but they were cold when served. The last 3 days they had a proper breakfast as there were more guests. It consists of toast/watermelon, rice, baked beans one morning, noodles. Have to get there when breakfast starts as I got the impression they don't refill the trays once it is gone. It is close to a mosque as well so you get your early morning wake up call - not ideal if you are a light sleeper. Grab is only 8RM to Melaka Sentral - better than a taxi which is 30RM Overall it is cheap and a great location so if you don't mind a less than flash accommodation option then it will do the job but I would not stay there again.

Spacious room & cozy. Have balcony can see city view malacca. Nice design swimming pool & garden. Get access gym view pool. Breakfast super nice & variety (Malaysia, Chinese, Indian & Western Food). Walking distance Kampung Morten. Definitely will come again.

This is one of the best-priced studio unit near Jonker, it's about 1.5km walking distance. Although check-in process is a little troublesome but the room is very spacious and very comfy bed with basic kitchennete amenities
