"Great accomodation. Thank you to FO staff namely Helmi for the free upgrade to Premier Lounge room at level 20. Facilities also in good condition except tv channel and lift. Easy connection to all places. Just walking distance only. Tv channel - not many variety and unclear picture. Hotel to consider to change the tv channel package such as Astro, Vision, etc or modulator also from analog to digital, maybe? Lift - on checkout day, we had waiting for the lift from level 20 to level G for almost half an hour. Got 8 lift but non can enter. Traffic jammed. Till end up, maintenance/security staff need to block lift to pickup all the guest from top level. Hotel need to improve the traffic during peak hours. That's all from my side. Will come back again later. Thank you Hatten team."

"What a gem we found in Malacca! This Chinese-owned hotel, just opened 9 days ago, is absolutely divine. The facilities are brand new with no strange smells, the room was sparkling clean, and the bedding was incredibly soft and skin-friendly. It was so quiet that I slept like a baby, and all my travel fatigue was completely cured! The biggest surprise was that the owner, an 'old buddy' from Guangxi, was so warm and genuine. He provided thoughtful guidance throughout our stay and even shared some local, lesser-known travel tips. The service was excellent, and we felt incredibly welcome. The location is also very convenient for getting around, making our stay comfortable and worry-free. It offers incredible value for money! I've already recommended it to my fellow travelers, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Malacca. Five-star strong recommendation to all travelers!"

"Location: Near to tourist attraction, can easily get grab car to jonker street, distance about 5 min, rm5 fee Room: Clean and big, very convi to arrange our luggages, bed is soft like 5 star standard Service: Some front counter staffs are not helpful, as tourists, we ask questions like how to go nearby attractions, they answer us impatiently, a male staff even show sour face when i ask him about the parking payment, housekeeping also very slow responde when we need help about the safety box usage."

"We stayed at this service apartment for one night and were thoroughly impressed. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making it perfect for our needs. We even used the washing machine to do laundry before heading back to Singapore. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the free parking was a welcome bonus. The car park is newly built, with plenty of space and easy parking, and we appreciated having a dedicated slot. While it's not the most walkable location, with supermarkets and restaurants a short drive away, it's easy to get around by car. And if you're craving local food, Grad food is a great option! Overall, we were delighted with our stay and got great value for the price. We'd highly recommend this service apartment and plan to return on our next trip to Malacca."

"1. Stated there’s an upgrade in bedsheets so it’s higher quality more comfortable, that’s good to know  2. Toilet is very dirty with spider and weird insect I saw in just 4 days stay.  3. The blanket without the cover is very dirty and cream colour 4. Chair has blood stain  5. Toilet shower area is mouldy 6. Want more toilet paper or bath supplies or their tiny water? Add money. 1 layer toilet paper can last you 4 days for 2 pax? 2 mini 50 ml bottle can last you for 1 day?  7. No toothbrush  8. No room slippers  9. Basin water splashes everywhere, might as well shower standing near the basin.  Honestly this place has so much potential if house keeping really takes care and clean the property  There is 1 big mega mall opposite which is super convenient  Quite near jonker street too 15 min walk.  Staffs are polite and nice, check in and out process when it’s your turn, is pretty fast but there’s always long queues and waiting time."

"Located in an alley behind Hatten Hotel with Bus/coach bay (1 way traffic direction). Parking is chargable. Nearby Shopping mall - Mahkota Parade, Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall. walking distance to Jonker Street. Room was spacious (living room, 2 bedrooms 2 toilets) comfortable beds (2 single & 1 queen size). Bathroom was clean. No Face / hand towel provided. TV reception was weak. the chair cushions were abit worn off and dust can been seen on beams of the table. Some wood lamination has peel off and chips near the window panel. The spread of the morning breakfast was plain and simple with 1 ”live” egg cooking section. hence did not opt or it."

It offers easy access to many of the city's attractions, and the convenience of using Grab for transportation made navigating the area a breeze. Overall, my stay at DoubleTree Melaka was a delightful experience, thanks to the attentive staff, comfortable accommodations, and great location. I look forward to returning in the future!"

"good to be back here after a while. but the toilet irritates me. the water stagnates on the floor and cannot flow into the drainage as it should, the beds are not comfortable enough, problems also occurred when i want to empty the water in the bath tub - the scrubber problematic. I was given the room number 1403."

"The whole hotel felt like a well-preserved historical building/museum, just the right amount of modern mixed with traditional influence. Rooms and bathrooms were nice and clean, all amenities provided (and good quality). Beddings were comfortable with two different pillow softness to choose from. Staff were courteous and welcoming. Thank you for the accommodation, places like this is what makes a trip memorable."
