Once you arrive, park at 7th or 8th floor and inform the receptionist your car plate later. At the reception, Alif assisted me with the check in like a close friend. He even informed me how to navigate around Jonker Street. As for the room, it is clean and the shower water pressure is strong and hot. No insects found or seen around the room. The lift may take a while though during peak hour. The location is okay, about 15 minutes walk to Jonker Street. But what I like is that it is next to the jogging path by the river and accessible to speedmart/7 11.

They are not lying when they said unlimited breakfast buffet from 7am till 12pm. This is the most great thing about this hotel. Their view is beautiful. Like others mentioned, we can see melaka river cruise at night from the balcony. Other than that, facilities in children a bit wear out already. However we did enjoy the pool because it’s quite big. The adult pool have infinity view but slightly poor in cleanliness.

Good experience stay here, clean room, comfy bed and I got view Kg Morten. So mesmerizing with lights during the night and so warm during the day. Management put efforts to guest needs when I requested for iron & refill of shower gel in the morning. However, they took some time to respond in whatsapp. TV, kettle, hairdryer & mini fridge functioned. They also have swimming pool and mini gym for guests.

Overall experience is satisfactory. The owner was very responsive and friendly. The room is a big space with modern decorations. I bookee for twin bed and i also got extra 1 expandable sofa bed. Besides, owner provided extra 2 single mattress. Toilet door cannot be locked. The toilet bowl also the sitting part was broken so kinda hard to use. But since im staying only for 1 night, so it doesnt really matter to me. Parking is very expensive. I thought its RM2 per entry as per owner's msg. But it was actually rm10 for 1st 1 hour and rm6 for every subsequent hour. Phewwwwwwwwwwww...

the hotel is centrally located in town which is very convenience for guest, food court and restaurants are easy to find, amber of car parking space located in 2nd floor of hotel. staff are friendly and check in process is fast and perfect. Hotel room is clean and big, air conditioner is cool. bathroom is also clean. The room we booked is without breakfast, so we do not know to quality of the food. facilities are not many in the hotel.

Very practical location within walking distance to many attractions and Jonker Walk. 7-11 right next door with a few food outlets and the crazy cheap price is a great reason to stay here. The buffet breakfast is good for the price. I had tater tots. Love it. Only gripe, the water pressure in my room is pretty low.

We stayed at the TF Riverside for a night in May. This happened to be during Ramadan. The entrance from the street has steps up to reception (there is a steepish ramp, too steep for a wheelchair unless assisted by a strong person). We were able to check in without any issues. There's a car park under the hotel but there is no direct access from the car park into the hotel. We were allocated rooms on the 3rd floor overlooking the main road rather than the riverside. The lifts were functional but a little bumpy. The hotel was refurbished about a year ago, and whilst what is there is clean and OK, it's more towards a budget set up, and the furniture looked fairly tired. However a really basic annoyance in the room was the lack of and location of power outlets. There was a power outlet just above the floor level behind the fridge, and another about 1m above the floor halfway between the bed and the window in the middle of nowhere. The kettle (provided in the room) couldn't be plugged in unless you held it in mid-air whilst boiling or moved furniture to the outlet between the bed and window, or you moved the fridge. Whilst I can understand that the cost of moving power outlets isn't a minor thing, surely this should have been sorted out when the hotel was refurbed about a year ago? And could easily be mitigated for limited expense by providing a couple of multi-outlet power bars to provide desktop power by the fridge and bedside. The bathroom was again clean but fairly basic. Oh, and the hot water was barely warmer than ambient temperature both evening - which we reported the receptionist - but the issue still persisted the next morning. We had booked two rooms, and the power and hot water issues were the same in both rooms. After checking in we left the hotel for a wander aroound the city - which is gorgeous, and easily walkable from the hotel. As we left the hotel and walked initally along the riverside we could see an Iftar buffet being set up by the hotel on their riverside dining area, and the selection of food looked to be impressive and comprehensive. We got back to the hotel having had dinner elsewhere with friends and saw the tail end of the Iftar buffet, and looked forward to our breakfast the next morning. However, we were to be disappointed. When we got down for breakfast the next monring, we were presented a menu card of five items, of which two - the nasi lemak and rice porridge congee were unavailable. We've been at hotels when low occupancy means it's uneconomic to run a full buffet, and I completely understand this - but usually in these situations you get presented a decent list of whats available and a commitment provided they have the ingredients within reason they will try their best to make something for you. Considering what we had seen the previous evening we knew the hotel could do seriously good food, and the previous reviews of the good food back this up. Room condition is clean.. very comfortable.. Lots of snacks available. the view from the room is also beautiful.. will definitely repeat again later first time direct owner always direct hotel even easier to check in and check out the owner is very kind and helpful❤️ thank you Yen

Suitble to rest for family, but make sure its not the weekend, if you want to book on weekend, book early, thanks to hotel mgt..

Terrible pillow cleanliness as photo attached. Smelly & very dirty pillow. Yellow spot ( which im very sure is air liur basi stain) every where. We asked to changed 3 pillows then they give new pillow with the same stain. 2 nd time asked to change pillow again & they gave us new pillows. This time no stains. Thanks to the housekeeping guy for helping us.
