This room is really neat

All the employees were kind. On the way back, on the shuttle bus, I was able to have some chicken meat cut down at a chicken shop, which was very helpful. It was convenient because it was close to the bus stop for the express bus going there.

There is coffee service (tea, cold water) in the lobby, and I used it three times while sitting on the comfortable sofa. The room was 8 tatami mats long and not very large, but it was comfortable. Two keys and two yukata. The bath is a haniwa bath and there is no open-air bath. The indoor bath didn't have a screen door, so there was almost no ventilation, so it was very hot and humid during this hot season. On the way, I cooled off at the changing room where the air conditioner was roaring. Other customers were also shouting. I thought it would be a good idea to use a screen door or a ventilation fan to let the air pass through in the summer. Kawasemi-no-Yu the next morning was nice because it had an open-air bath. Dinner was a large venue meal. This time it wasn't Robatayaki, so I was able to eat slowly. The sashimi is made with Kawafugu (catfish), Sakuratai, and Ginko (a high-quality rainbow trout that can only be tasted in Gunma).The kamameshi is made with sweetfish, and the sukiyaki on the stand is unique in that it contains local chicken, pork, and beef. And it was delicious. Although I usually skip rice, I finished it all, and it was amazing that even though there were so many items, the portions were just right for my stomach. Also, the cold local sake (300cc, around 1200 yen) was delicious and perfect with the food. We also had breakfast at the same venue, which was very satisfying. The staff at the restaurant also have very good customer service.

The room and bath were very nice. The coffee served in the lobby was delicious, and I thought it would be nice to take a break. However, customers and staff who did not have good manners stood out. First of all, a group of four elderly men sat next to me at dinner. Since there was alcohol in the room, there was a lot of loud conversation, commotion, and noise. Perhaps because it was a time when the coronavirus had calmed down a bit, the wait staff didn't pay any particular attention and let it go. I thought it was difficult to say that the infection measures were perfect. Also, the customer who was not mannered in the public bath seemed to be acquainted with the female staff of the inn, and even at the breakfast venue, there was a lot of chattering. In terms of food, the white rice for breakfast was cold, and I felt disappointed at the very end. I don't think it's enough to just have dinner. Even though the hardware side is good, it would be no good if the people working there acted to damage the reputation. I'm sorry.

Staying for the first time in a year and two months. Last time, I felt a sense of security in dealing with the new coronavirus. What impressed me most this time was the kindness and friendliness of the employees. If it's cold in the restaurant with the hearth burning, the temperature is adjusted by the air conditioner, the blanket and the stove are prepared immediately, and the greetings in the hallway etc. are natural and soothing. I thought it was an inn where you can stay without feeling overwhelmed, and where you can expect a variety of services beyond the price. Availability: December 2021
