We loved it from beginning to end. Amos (manager), from the first moment offers everything and makes your stay as pleasant as possible. We were pleasantly surprised by Moshi, it has countless corners that are beautiful. Issa (Amos' partner) was with us for 2 days, in which we were able to discover Hotsprings (spectacular) and a couple of routes through Marangu, where you can do the Café tour and the Ndoro waterfalls. We had a small mishap with the reflex camera and Issa helped us in everything to contact a guy in the city and be able to solve it, Thank you! :) You can also hire Safaris with them.

I was using the facilities to present a Wilderness First Responder training course for Kilimanjaro guides. During the 10 days I was presenting the course, I also use their accommodation. I can't fault them. The staff is amazing and always helpful and friendly. They always said yes to every requestI made. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and really enjoyed my stay there.

Bathrooms terrible, shower wets the toilet and rest of the small bathroom, toilet seat was broken, and there's no mirror. They kept on forgetting to turn on the boiler in the evening, so we had cold showers. Paint is coming off the walls. The garden is full of construction stuff. Bad service from personal. Try to sell you a Bajaji ride for double the normal price. Water is sold for 2000 TSH for 1L. Only positive thing was that the cook was willing to make breakfast at 6am. Good to know that you can only pay with cash and most of the time they do not have change if you want to buy a drink.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was also really good and the outside space is well done with a good vibe.. Unfortunately that was the extent of the good review. I'd made this booking almost two months prior and even ensured that I personally followed up with a phone call and e-mail. Only to arrive there on the check-in date and they hadn't reserved any rooms for us. They tried to say that I had cancelled the booking but luckily I had the booking confirmation with me and all e-mail communication. In the end, they gave us the two last remaining rooms which were in *dismal* state! Broken windows, holes in the ceiling and walls, huge cracks in the doors, leaking toilets, etc. We didn't have much of a choice but to stay there as all accommodation in Moshi was fully booked due to the Kilimanjaro marathon and we also had a really early morning as marathon participants. I also suspect that they bumped us (Kenyans) off to accommodate some European tourists. The hygiene levels were also poor. White towels with dirty stains and brown streaks, really old mouldy pillows. How hard is it to bleach white towels and regularly update pillows? It was the **most disappointing stay ever** especially considering how early we had made the booking and that I'd read so many positive reviews on TripAdvisor about it.

I spent a whole month at the Better Inn and had a great time there. My room was small but nice, the bed was comfortable, the food was delicious, fresh and plentiful. The room was cleaned every 2-3 days, including making the bed and spraying mosquito repellent. If I had wanted to, my clothes and shoes would have been washed too. The fan was a blessing in the evening for fresh air before going to sleep, and I didn't think it was too loud. In the event of a power outage, the generator was switched on, so you didn't have to go without light or WiFi. WiFi reception was good in both areas (sleeping, outside area), and there are also sockets in all areas, so you could also work on site. Excursions (e.g. coffee and waterfall, safari or Maasai village) can be booked directly through the hotel. Even if I wanted to drive somewhere in the Bajaji, the staff organized one for me. The district is a bit far from the center, but you can get there on foot in 20 - 30 minutes, otherwise there are Bajaji or Bodaboda (motorcycles) as taxis everywhere. In the area there are several small and large supermarkets as well as the district market and many small and large grill kitchens, so you don't always have to eat in the hotel. If you do: The food in the hotel was very tasty and very generous 😋 For me, the nearby but almost abandoned airfield was also a great place to go, here you have a great, unobstructed view of Kilimanjaro in the morning and evening hours, and there are also lots of birds here. I really enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset from the roof terrace. But the biggest plus point goes to the employees. Be it the boss or manager, the chef or service or housekeeping: everyone looked after me very well, was very nice and friendly and dealt with problems or requests immediately. I would love to come back ☀️

The staff of the establishment is friendly, the hostel is in Moshi and this was confirmed by the description that we had read when we booked. The value for money is good. The rooms are simple, showers, toilet and sink together, bed with mosquito net, fan. The establishment was well maintained in terms of cleanliness.

We stayed in Better In for two days before Kilimanjaro. The place is very clean and confortable. The wifi connection is good. However we were surprised with the brilliant attention of the people working there. In addition, very tasty breakfast and good plates for lunch and dinner, specially rice with vegetables. Oni&Jon
