Hotels Near BR Fernsehgarten „Querbeet“ in Munich

Fangen wir mit dem Positiven an. In der Lobby steht ein Kaffeeautomat. Der Kaffee ist kostenlos. Doch der Reihe nach. Ich vergebe nicht oft 1 Stern. Genauer gesagt bin ich sowieso niemand, der meint, unablässig Rezensionen schreiben zu müssen. Aber in diesem Fall tue ich es mit Freuden. Und zwar aus folgendem Grund: Ich musste in München übernachten und zwar vom 19.-21.05.23; das Himmelfahrts-Wochenende und in München die HIGH END, eine Audio-Messe. Die Stadt platzte aus allen Nähten. Nun kam ich wegen einer Verspätung der Deutschen Bahn erst am Samstag, den 20.05. um 1:50h in der Stadt an. Leider stellte sich heraus, dass hotels.com meine Übernachtungen storniert hatte und ich mitten in der Nacht ohne Übernachtungsmöglichkeit da stand. In ganz München war zu diesem Zeitpunkt kein freies Hotelzimmer mehr zu bekommen. Nach zwei Stunden hatte ich glücklicherweise doch noch ein Hotel gefunden, das für diesen Zeitraum ein Zimmer anbot, das Feringapark-Hotel in Unterföhring. Als ich dem Nachtportier meine Notlage am Telefon schilderte und ihn fragte, was ich denn für die Übernachtung bezahlen müsste, rechnete ich bereits mit einem typischem „Messe-Preis“. In meinem Fall: 238,-€ pro Übernachtung, also für zwei Übernachtungen 476,- €. Nun ist mir klar, dass Hotels zu gewissen Zeiten -beispielsweise, wenn Messen oder Großveranstaltungen in einer Stadt stattfinden- ihre Preise drastisch erhöhen. Alles soweit üblich, ist eben eine Sache von Angebot und Nachfrage. Für den Endkunden nicht schön, aber alles im Rahmen des Gewohnten. Was sich allerdings am nächsten Morgen änderte. Denn dieser Rahmen wurde am nächsten Vormittag krachend gesprengt. Nachdem ich nach 5 Stunden Schlaf um 10Uhr aufwachte, stellte sich heraus, dass meine Terminierung des Wochenendes über den Haufen geworfen worden war. Die zweite Übernachtung war somit obsolet geworden. Nach meinem Eintreffen beim Hotel um 4:45 Uhr hatte ich den Nachtportier gebeten, gleich alles von meiner Kreditkarte zu belasten und mir noch in der Nacht eine Rechnung auszustellen, da ich solche Dinge gern gleich erledigt haben möchte. Nun war also der Betrag für zwei Übernachtungen abgebucht worden und es hatte sich herausgestellt, dass ich nur eine Übernachtung benötige. „Nicht weiter schlimm“, dachte ich mir, „ich gehe einfach zur Rezeption und bitte freundlich darum, mir die 238,-€ wieder gutzuschreiben.“ Dann hörte ich, als ich in der Lobby stand, dass das leider nicht möglich sei, da ich eine Übernachtung zu Messezeiten nur 42 Tage vorher kostenlos stornieren könne. Zuerst hielt ich das Ganze für einen Beweis der Humorfähigkeit des Rezeptionisten, da ja offensichtlich war, dass ich diese Buchung noch nicht einmal 48 Stunden, sondern 6 Stunden vorher getätigt hatte. Es täte ihm auch aufrichtig leid, aber ihm seien da die Hände gebunden und er selbst auch nur ausführendes Organ, aber so seien nun mal die Vorschriften. Da sie nicht mit Paypal arbeiteten, solle ich meine Kreditkartendaten samt Ablaufdatum

Hotel is located in the industrial area of ​​Unterföhring. Easy to reach by car from the A9. Edeka 50 meters, S-Bahn within walking distance, bus line passes the hotel. Quiet, no street noise. Rooftop bar in summer when the weather is nice with a great view. Hotel clean and modern furnishings. Large, walk-in shower. Air conditioning in the rooms. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating, sometimes go the extra mile. Restaurant in the hotel (Thai) very good. Great breakfast. Overall highly recommended. Use the car park at the hotel, there is a restricted parking ban all around and this is only indicated at the roundabout in the entrance to the industrial area. No signs in extra parking bays, very misleading as you don't notice the sign in the driveway.

The IBIS Munich City Nord is a very beautiful Ibis hotel. It has very clean rooms with air conditioning/heating and flat-screen TV. There was nothing to make at the cleanliness of the sanitation facilities. It was all very clean. The bed was also very clean and comfortable. The rooms can only be entered with a key card and are therefore very safe. Breakfast was rich and very delicious. Very beautiful and clean breakfast room. The staff was very nice and friendly and helpful. A bar was also available. Credit card payment was also possible. 24Stunden Reception. Very clean stay. The hotel's facilities include a free deep garage. I received the parking fee of EUR 15 per day as quite expensive. There is also a seat. Very good distance connection just a few hundred meters from the hotel. Attractions, museums, churches, restaurants, bars, city centre etc. cannot be reached by foot from the hotel. Public transportation, for example, metro are just a few steps away from the hotel. Would stay there again if I am in Munich. Very recommended hotel!

great staff, very friendly, multilingual! Very clean, I loved the breakfast, fresh fruit, tasty eggs, a lot of different bread. I loved as well the laundry room where I could clean my cloth. I warmly recommend the hotel Bento-Inn Munich. Best price, great rooms, very nice persons within the hotel staff, Recommendable for friends, families and business trips.

The hostel is so near to the Ostbahnhof. You can go to the city center and all touristic must-see places via subway, underground or buses in a very short time. The hostel has a very good, peaceful location. You can watch wonderful Munich city view from the window of your room. It is a so clean, comfortable, well-designed hostel. The room I stayed was clean and comfortable. My roommates were respectful, kind people. Staff working at the hostel are so kind, understanding, smiled-face and helpful people. I thank them all. As a solo traveller, I am really happy to stay such an amazing, comfortable place in Munich. I strongly recommend this beautiful hostel.

Excellent location, pubilc transport just outside the hotel, staff is helpful, rooms are quite big, beds are big and comfortable. Check in and out quick and easy. Wi fi signal can be better. Overall quite nice accomodation for reasonable price.

This is a lovely warm hotel. We arrived late due to rail strikes, which made transport to the hotel a pain. However, once we were checked in, we were straight up the the room which was toasty (really toasty!). Breakfast was a continental buffet style with plenty of everything and some of the items changed on a daily basis. The hotel bar was open on Saturday and Sunday, where their barman, Boris was extremely friendly, warm, polite and helpful. He also takes a keen interest in football. I would also like to give Filip and his team at reception a shout out as they were extremely helpful. For those who read the reviews saying they could not speak either English or German, we found this to be simply not true. Their English was fluent as was their German. We had wanted to come back out to Munich specifically to stay here again this year but unfortunately that will now have to wait until next year. If you want the u-bahn, it is a 2 minute walk from the hotel reception (turn left from the door, left again, cross at the lights and you are there).

I stayed with my family for 4 nights. Everything was great location, breakfast and clean rooms. However, I would like to point out the exceptional behaviour of the whole personnel with a special reference to the manager and Mrs Marianna Zampa. Thank you once again for your great help.
