Super convenient location. Right at Munich central station. Even the room was not that spacious but it was suitable for 3 people. I would recommend to take Lufthansa Express bus to and from airport. The bus will park right in front of the hotel.

This is a lovely warm hotel. We arrived late due to rail strikes, which made transport to the hotel a pain. However, once we were checked in, we were straight up the the room which was toasty (really toasty!). Breakfast was a continental buffet style with plenty of everything and some of the items changed on a daily basis. The hotel bar was open on Saturday and Sunday, where their barman, Boris was extremely friendly, warm, polite and helpful. He also takes a keen interest in football. I would also like to give Filip and his team at reception a shout out as they were extremely helpful. For those who read the reviews saying they could not speak either English or German, we found this to be simply not true. Their English was fluent as was their German. We had wanted to come back out to Munich specifically to stay here again this year but unfortunately that will now have to wait until next year. If you want the u-bahn, it is a 2 minute walk from the hotel reception (turn left from the door, left again, cross at the lights and you are there).

It’s very good, but enough issues to knock a star off. Lots of good things - very clean, modern room. Great shower. Good lighting. Comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast, with omelettes to order. Every sort of milk you could imagine (though except, oddly, we couldn’t find fresh - the one we thought was it was UHT!). Great gym on 14 floor. Internet lightning fast. The staff were friendly and gave you full attention when you were with them. Issues. Short staffed. On checkout, for example, only two staff, one of whom was on the phone … then the other could not get round an issue for a couple checking online, so had to be helped by the first. When a place is this swish, check in and out should be fast and slick. It wasn’t. Short staffed in the restaurant too: we’d booked a table but were ignored by the two staff who were covering the bar and the tables. A lot of tables and a long wait to be seated. Better training needed: at least greet and acknowledge the waiting guests. Restaurant food was ok. In the room: no access to the online hotel directory: reception didn’t really understand the problem and sent a spare remote up to us, then guessed maybe a software issue. No USB ports in the sockets, and none to loan (you could buy them apparently). (Tip: actually there there are two USB ports - on the back of the TV! They’re fiddly to reach but it can be done, and they charged a phone overnight).

The hotel is located in the centre of the city, and is located in the centre of the city. The latter, however, can also reach walking. I left the car in the underground parking, free and very comfortable. The room was very clean, modern (small for 3 people but not for 2) and suitable for the comfort levels of this kind of hotel, but NOT for the swelled price that all the reception facilities in Monaco have during this period of the year. the same room would cost € 289 in a month ... Breakfast, instead, would not be suitable in both cases. Very scarce. Personal parque de sorrises. Surely I would come back, during the party. Hello.

The hotel is located very close to the city center by car, with convenient transportation, and there are supermarkets such as dm next to it, making life convenient. The room was reasonably used for space, the bed was very comfortable, and the hotel front desk could let us store our luggage all day, thank you very much.

Pro: - Free deep garage Contra: - The outflow in the bathroom has provided a durable, terrible smell. You had to keep the bathroom door closed permanently, otherwise the smell would have been pulled through the entire room - in the bathroom there was a small, three-storey car in which you could store his things for the bathroom. Unfortunately, this car was so extremely dirty at all three levels of deposition that you had to undergo something everywhere. - The bathroom had only 2 hooks to be. Handsets to hang - In the shower the shower head was loose so that it could only hang the shower head down - The tube of the shower head was through the permanent ”down-hang” completely knocked so very little water came out of the shower head. - In one of our beds was a living cage - the tiles in the bathroom on the ground were already dark - the mirror in the bathroom was overflowed after arrival of water flirts - In the breakfast room there is a staff member who appears to be disappointed as she comes to the breakfast room every few minutes, doing as if she wash a table and then watching people at the dinner. A very nervous behaviour, because you can't have a quiet breakfast - the staff of the Putz column get in the breakfast room without desinfecting their hands beforehand, with their white hands their food (brood, sauce, cheese), touch this and take it into account

The rooms are advertised as apart-hotel rooms for longer stays, but they are small and they mostly just traded a proper size wardrobe for a space for a kitchen sink and a microwave. The website says ”Kitchenette” but you can't really cook anything... Also, no dish soap or sponge is provided, and you have to grab plates and cutleries yourself from the restaurant area downstairs. This could easily be fixed. Also the website says there is a desk but there really isn't. What you get is a small coffee table with a low seat. Impossible to seat and expect to work comfortably on it. No laundry service or washing machines available in the hotel either. The receptionist pointed me to the mall to clean my clothes, which is very far if you don't have a car. They should at least have a partnership with external laundry service and organize pickups... Other than that, the staff was super friendly and professional. Nice hotel design, clean and good breakfast too. So I would recommend the place only for short stays.

We spent one night in the hotel before a morning flight. We usually stay in 3 and 4 star modern business class hotels and this one appeared to fit that criteria. The standard ”double” room sounded small to me so I reserved the ”premium” or ”superior” room for less than 10 euro more. This review reflects that upgraded room which is supposed to be about 18 sq m or 205 sq ft. The room was quite roomy, actually bigger than I expected. We were on the top floor. The top two floors (4 and 5) are smaller than the rest of the hotel and have only 10 rooms per floor. It was quiet and comfortable. Although it's only a 3 star hotel, it felt like a 4 star hotel to me. The only negative in my mind is the lack of a 24-hour reception. They apparently open at 0700 (though my ”booking” web site said it opened at 0630). I just seems like a hotel with 120 rooms should have 24 hour reception. Or maybe at least 5am to midnight. When we went to check out at 630am, no one was there and there were a few card keys lying around. We just left our card keys as well, then later got an email about online checkout. The area is a significant distance from central Munich. It's about half way to the airport. A station witih S-Bahn and U-Bahn lines is immediately adjacent to the hotel. There aren't a lot of restaurants nearby but there is one in the hotel and a few nearby. We went to a lovely Italian restaurant just a few blocks away. I would definitely be back.

L'hôtel est aisément accessible, un peu en dehors de la vieille ville, donc un parking aisé. Les chambres sont propres fonctionnelles et la literie est assez correcte. Le petit déjeuner se prend dans le restaurant Grec attenant, il est complet, sans exagérations. La climatisation est silencieuse et heureusement car la ventilation de la salle de bain est infernale. Elle tourne en permanence et est bruyante a tel point que l’on a du enlever la carte de commande de l’électricité de la chambre pour la stopper. La salle de bain présente des problèmes d’ergonomie, dérouleur de papier mal placé donc on s’y cogne, la vitre de la douche trop courte donc on mouille partout… L'espace entre la télévision et le lit est insuffisant, on se cogne donc également contre la télé. Le petit déjeuner se fait dans le restaurant Grec attenant, et les ‘bacs bain marie ne tenaient pas » les œufs ont fait le grand plongeon mais ils n’en mettent pas d’autres… Aux vues de tout cela c’est trop chère pour ce qui est proposé.

GGuest UserHotel is located a bit away from marienplatz and the downtown shopping area . It isn”t a problem because public transportation is at your front door . taxis and the train station are near by . The hotel staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived . Pia and Jan in the restaurant took excellent care of us at dinner ,food was tasty and nicely presented . The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty with a good selection to get your day started . Our room was clean , well maintained and quiet . Would definety stay again if we return to Munich . Thanks for a great stay !

GGuest UserWe are here now. Reserved 2 rooms to accommodate 4 people, one for 3 adults, the other for 1 adult. They brought us a roll away bed for the 3rd adult and when I asked the front desk, they said they had no rooms to accommodate 3 adults with 3 proper beds. (Then why offer it as an option?). We were offered to move to a larger room, for the larger price, but would still only get the roll away bed for the 3rd adult. Accommodations…..incredibly dissatisfied. Especially for a 5 star hotel. We were ignored, not exaggerating, when we pulled up with our vehicle. While trying to parallel park to unload, 2 employees stood joking around. A colleague stopped what he was doing, interrupted them, and all but got in their face to tell them to help us! At this point I was pissed! And mind you, i was outside of the car and they had no idea i was with the car……so i was witness to it all. They were kissing the feet of the others (who were not wearing sweat pants) and legitimately IGNORED us. I was PISSED. Not because I’m stuck on myself, but because it’s so true. If you don’t LOOK a certain way, especially at this 5 star hotel, YOU WILL BE IGNORED. Don’t hate on me for my honest review. Just know that if TRUE luxury is what you’re seeking, no matter what you look like or what you drive, you may have better luck down the road. It’s not here. Best of luck and let’s hope I’m one of the few who has had to experience this.

I found out that there was no hair dryer after washing my hair last night. I called the front desk to ask for it. I waited for almost an hour and no one answered. Finally I opened the door, and a Chinese man just passed by in the corridor. By luck, he had a hair dryer in his room, so he was able to dry his hair...

GGuest UserWhile the hotel stay was comfortable and the rooms a nice and clean we found the front desk staff rude and unhelpful. From the start they have shown no courtesy, I called up the hotel from the station to inquire about the location and landmark and found the person speaking to me couldnt care less about giving directions. Then when we arrived there, there was no one at the front desk. Since there are two Holiday Inns adjacent to each other we were confused as to which one is ours and kept the cab waiting to check. Finally we had to let the cab go as not one was there to answer our query. After a long wait the lady manning the front desk finally emerged from the cabin and was very rude with us. She couldnt find our reservation, we had to panic call the booking.com customer service and incurred a huge mobile bill for the international call only so that we could confirm our booking. She insisted we had not paid for our rooms and we had to argue and show proof of payment. Any query we had about the hotel amenities or sightseeing were unhelpfully answered. The person who looks after the snacks corner was the only congenial and courteous person. The hotel is within walking distance of a train station and the bus stop is right outside the drive way, There are some good restaurants about 5- 7 minutes walk from the hotel. Lidl is a stones throw away so are a few other grocery stores. Once you get the hang of the place its pretty convenient. GGuest UserI booked this based on a 4+ tripadvisor rating. Our recent experience doesn't seem to match others experience. The room ( on the 5th floor) didn't have air conditioning, no kettle, the shower over bath was just not up to standard, the layout of the room was just not good. The lighting was awful to put it mildly. In short it did not remotely resemble the photographs that the hotel uses on Booking.com. which seem to be the refurbished rooms on floors 1 - 4. On the plus side it was clean and bed adequately comfortable. There are no restaurant facilities in the evening currently available. The area around the hotel isn't great. There are, let's call them, nighttime clubs for men in the immediate area, and I didn't feel very safe after dark, but on the plus side it is close to transport links in very easy reach of main train station. To sum up, it's not the worst place I've stayed but wouldn't recommend or stay again.

GGuest UserWe had booked a city hotel in Munich for a 4-day holiday for a sightseeing. The location, price and size of a family room (for 2 adults and 2 children in school age) was crucial. The room, located on the first floor, was clean, solid furnished at first sight - all there you need, needed, but not habited. The bathroom was moderately large, little flat, toilet in the bathroom. The beds are acceptable, the sleeping sofa is suitable for children, adults would be rather unhappy here because of the hardness. The garage parking is nothing for weak nerves - an elevator brings the car into the cellar, there are (why not anyway) screamy place on which you stand. All is benign, dark, well. The breakfast was enough, well sorted - a little more yoghurt I would have liked. But from sauce, cheese, limon, marmelade, bakery, coffee (from the machine) , juices - all there. The staff was friendly, trying to always be ready to help or to solve disruptions immediately. Location: central, a few minutes from main station and Stachus. However, around the hotel, there are many multicultural shops with the appropriate client - as a woman I would feel rather unwell on the street alone. The cleaning was defect: once we received a very flack bathtub (which was immediately rechanged), a soap-created spot on the bath floor was all the time (at least 2 cleaning units) not removed, although it was more than clearly visible.

It is a ten-minute walk from the train station; the train station is surrounded by Turkish Street, so people may be miscellaneous. The hotel is also very clean, but there is no hot water bottle, and then the air conditioning in the room has no heating function (the radiator is also bad) and fortunately it is not too cold at the end of April. The room is soundproof, but the surrounding environment and the guests in the nearby room are quite quiet. Breakfast is a normal European buffet. Although the type is simple, it is quite satisfactory. Overall OK, cost-effective
