Hampton Inn & Suites Napa
4.2/5103 Reviews
I've stayed at many Hampton Inn's and they usually meet the mark, but this time was a miss. The room they set us up with didn't have working AC or a functional TV. They said they'd send someone over(had to request twice). This carried on until the next day(no one came the first day), they obviously thought it was user error, but it was probably confirmed in a minute by the technician that it wasn't working. We had to request a new room, but were ready to just leave and go home if this was not resolved. They call and tell us we need to pack our stuff and they'll provide a room when it's ready as we are leaving for our planned event. This made us about an hour late to our planned event. This had to be known that this room didn't have working utilities, yet they still set us up there. Hotel definitely was not booked to capacity. No apologies, no checking in, nothing. Breakfast wasn't anything special, hot tub was closed, pool was meh. Elevators need to be serviced as they are constantly creaking and seem like they will break at any moment. Seriously disappointing. Place was definitely dated but they try to sprinkle some updates to make it feel newer. The only saving grace is the restaurants walking distance and view of the river. If you have a family, we cannot recommend this place. I'd steer clear of this place and just look elsewhere.
The Knoll Hotel Napa Valley, Tapestry by Hilton

This was a lovely hotel in Napa. It was in a great location and there are several choices of restaurants within a short driving distance. The hotel was very clean as was the room. We had some noisy people above us (very loud walkers as you could hear every step). I would suggest the top floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice, large outdoor patio area with a gas fireplace and alot of conversation areas. The hotel was very updated. No laundry so we had to drive a couple miles to a laundromat to wash a few things as we had been on the road a while. A laundry room would have been nice. They do offer limited meals and they have a nice bar in the lobby. Several snack and drink items available to purchase.
The Meritage Resort and Spa

We arrived at 3pm-ish. The girl who checked us in was super nice. our room was not ready, but she said she pre-checked us and our room would be ready by 4 check in time and they would text us once ready. She verified our phone # and all our information. I also verified that the room extras we paid $$$$ for would be set up and in our room upon checkin, She said yes, that is actually why our room was taking longer to be prepared, they had to clean it and then set everything up for us. This did not happen. It was 415 ( after the 4 check in time advertised and no text or call) we went to check in and the Manager on duty did the entire process all over again, when we asked about it he got snippy and proceeded to argue with us as to why. It was like he wanted the last word - he was young, so I imagine he had not been trained on customer service 101, don't argue with customers. When we got to the room, nothing was set up. So I went back down stairs and asked the same manager on duty and he said I do see that, but we don't set up stuff in dirty rooms. I re-explained what the other lady had told us,how it was a surprise for our kids which why we paid extra for it, and why we waited even after 4 to get checked it. He just said again, we dont set stuff up in dirty rooms. Which makes no sense. I could tell he was going to argue with me again, so I just looked at him, he called house keeping and asked them to deliver it. He was very snippy and rude. The sheets has spots on them, and there was hair in our tub, the mirror attached to the wall had a burn or something on both sides and was wrecked. It is located in an industrial business area, which is very deceiving from the online pictures. For the money per night I would not stay again. The only good part was the Crush bowling alley. The server was super nice and that was fun, normal bar food- nothing fantastic for the price. We tried to go to Blend coffee bar in the morning, outside they had advertised ” dragon fruit drink and green juice” my kids were so exited. I stood in line for like 15 mins, went to order dragon fruit juice, they were out, went to order green juice , they were out, asked if they had a breakfast burrito, they were out. Keep in mind this was like at 830 am in the morning, it was not late. Why did they have that sign up outside advertising everything they were out of!!!??? We ended up going to Starbucks. Also the brewery was closed. This was disappointing, should have been stated on their website.
The White House Napa Valley

I recently stayed at the White House Hotel in Napa Valley, and it was a blast. The hotel’s historic vibe and cozy decor perfectly compliment its chill vineyard setting, making it a great place to unwind. My room was nicely furnished and offered a comfy spot to relax with some nice views. The service was really top-notch; the staff were super friendly and helped out with local tips and stuff. The on-site restaurant had some good food, though I think the menu could have used a few more choices. The amenities, the pretty garden and comfy lounge areas, made the stay even better. If you’re after a laid-back getaway in Napa Valley, the White House is definitely worth checking out.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Napa Valley

This is a Hilton resort hotel, the equipment is perfect, the receptionist is very interesting, and also helped us draw a map of the hotel. Parking is available in the backyard with free parking. The hotel serves evening drinks and breakfast the next day. After the Napa Valley viewing, you can have a light meal at the hotel. Breakfast is buffet style, and there is also an American omelet. It is worth mentioning that the hotel's homemade chili sauce is really delicious. I read the comment saying that there is a swan inside the hotel, and I woke up in the morning and really saw it. There are two areas in the hotel. In the atrium, everyone can sit and eat and drink and chat. The outside landscape has fountains, swan, all kinds of small scenes, which are lively and interesting. Very holiday feeling, you can sleep lazily to wake up naturally~
SpringHill Suites Napa Valley

Husband and I came here for a relax-by-the-pool babymoon weekend right before the birth of our second baby. We had a nice time. What the hotel lacks in polish, it makes up for with really nice, helpful staff and decent amenities. Pros: - we were initially assigned a small, first floor, cave-like room facing the parking lot and the management was able to reassign us to a much nicer 3rd floor room facing the pool! This made a huge difference in the quality of our stay. - the rooms have fully operable windows which was amazing. Do great to capture the cool breeze at night instead of running the noisy, stuffy AC - Beautiful pool and nice loungey area with big towels and configurable shade structure. The pool was busy but not too crowded which was nice. Water was lovely and very clean!! -all staff were incredibly kind and helpful -free EV charging was an awesome and unexpected perk -decent free breakfast Cons - older, smaller rooms with awkward layouts. Not a deal breaker for me. - they could really improve the free breakfast with a few small tweaks: 1. Please provide real coffee cups. Drinking coffee out of paper is such a drag plus it's just super wasteful. 2. Would love to see some fresh, cut fruit options 3. Ice at breakfast would be nice. - Location is meh. Know that you will be staying off a pretty busy street in basically a business/office park. This was a fine trade off but something to be aware of going into your stay. - too many tip solicitations signs everywhere. Makes the hotel feel cheap This would be a great, economical place to stay for an out of town family visiting napa for a wedding.
