Very compact small hotel, the room is OK, relatively clean, the general Chinese travel more, the Empire State Building or Times Square in the surrounding area are relatively close, the location is good.

We returned to The Fifth Avenue Hotel again this year for our wedding anniversary. The experience was just as wonderful as it was last year. Every room is a work of art, and the beauty of the hotel is beyond compare. The Portrait Bar is absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant is a delight. Our room was perfect, and the staff were more than skilled and helpful, they were charming and welcoming. The hotel has the best staff we have ever encountered in all of our travels. When we are at the Fifth Avenue Hotel, we know we are where we are supposed to be. We would not consider coming to New York and staying anywhere else. We urge you to stay here. If you do, you will want to return, as we have and as we will continue to do.

The bed was very comfortable, the booking was a wonderful room, a big bed, and the front desk was kind enough to ask if you would have an extra bed. There is a supermarket next to it, you can buy something very late. I received 100 dollars of dollars and returned to it in three days.

Landed in JFK pretty late but check in around midnight was smooth. There was no doorman at the entrance so I had to carry a huge luggage up the stairs to the hotel lobby to check in. The hotel room was tiny and had barely the space to keep my luggage but the room itself was clean and had everything I needed for a short stay. Checking out was equally smooth and quick as checking in. Overall it was a pretty good short stay for a pretty jet lagged traveler.

The facility was excellent. Clean and in a great area. The problem came with the service and amenities. The service was very slow and there were no amenities in the room. There was no iron, no refrigerator. Not even an ice machine in the building. I was very disappointed that these basic needs weren't met, especially given the large cost of the room.

We stayed at the hotel right before Christmas. Location is super nice. The hotel itself is okay. The room is small but bathroom is big for some reason. It’s warm but the heater makes super load noise. I think it’s good for a short trip. Anyways you come to see beautiful New York not spend time in the hotel.
