Kyriad Paris 10 - Canal Saint Martin - République

The room is not too big, but it basically has everything you need, and the overall is not bad. The front desk was very patient and great. The location is relatively quiet, and there are a lot of basic supermarkets and stores nearby.
District Republique

For a quick 3-night stay in Paris, this hotel was a nice place to relax. It can be a little bit hard to find since the outside looks more like the entrance to an office building, and it's along a narrow road where there are most cafés than there is housing. However, when you enter, you are greeted to very kind staff that can speak English (so, don't fret English-speakers!) and they offer their guidance on how to have the best vacation possible. I didn't try their breakfast, but from what I could see, their eating area was pretty compact where roughly 20 people could eat at a time. I also saw fruit and bread, but nothing much beyond that. I'd say it's better to eat out for breakfast if you want more distance and variety. My room was on the first floor, and it had one bed that could fit two people. Just like the breakfast area, it was compact with the essentials, and it's definitely suited for a vacation where all you need out of a bedroom is to go right to sleep. The TV was good, but there was only one English-speaking channel that I could find: CNN. Not that it factors into my rating, this part is simply to inform. The bed was soft, the shower and toilet were functional, and no air conditioning (but that's Europe, in general). I also requested my room to be clean at 8 in the morning, and by the time I returned from my adventures, it STILL wasn't clean. The housekeeper came by at 2pm to ask if I wanted my sheets changed, just as I was going to take my afternoon nap. That's a very long wait, and I wasn't in the mood to leave my room and wait for him to be finished, so I turned him away. I'd say waiting so long to clean a room that was personally requested to be checked on is my biggest complaint with this hotel. My vacation was wonderful, and this hotel was just good enough to give me a good night's rest. But, for those interested in staying here, keep in mind that it is a minimalistic location. Do not expect fancy bedrooms or food during your stay. Doesn't make it bad, but it's important to spend 90% of your day outside and come back here for the remainder.

Champs Elysées
Beautifully designed hotel, they made good use of the space and in the rooms the finishings are super high end. Pillow was great one night and then the next I swear they changed my pillow. Room service is VERY SLOW - they will tell you they are coming but they do not. Staff are generally ok - one very typically rude person at reception, rolled her eyes a few times and was quite unhelpful Had a room without breakfast (Pauls and Laduree are up the road so there is no need to have it in the hotel) You can find street parking easily if needed. We had a kitchenette in our room - which was super useful It's a brilliant location for Champs Elysee shopping and for the George V metro line which takes you into the more central parts. There is no lobby / lounge as such so its worth getting a room where you can relax a bit. We had a deluxe room on the 1st floor

Pigalle
I stayed here with my sister during our holiday in Paris and I can say I was very happy with the choice made! Two-step structure from Moulin Rouge and its metro, 10 minutes walk from MontMartre , a spacious area, open mainly at night, a starbucks in front of the metro stop, then brewery, poke, hamburger, locals for all tastes + a large supermarket (also exactly at the out of the metro). Reception h24 - a little date structure, small stairs and a little uncomfortable but essential room, small, a small closet and a mirror, but for the location and price, for two girls is super recommended! I never had the feeling of being in a bad area, at the evening of a full-fledged, but quiet, and not new, but also here, for the price it is fully presentable and useable. The only sin (which was not a problem for us) is that at night it is not a quiet area, just not having light sleep problems and nothing to revert. The phone and telecommand of the TV are to be requested at the reception. As far as we are concerned, super recommended!
Hotel Panache

After much research, we decided to go above our original budget and pay for the 4* Panache. We had also been looking at the three star hotels Joe M and Maison Axel Opera literally just done the road, but liked the design of the Panache. The booking was last minute and they did their very best to secure two rooms at the back of the hotel so we were away from the road noise. Having read other reviews and always in need of a good night's sleep, this was important to me. Our two rooms were described as superior and given the shape of the building, were very different to each other. Both had the same decor but one had considerably more space with a separate seating area....strange that they were the same price. Fortune cookies on the pillow were fun and we appreciated a gift of a bar of chocolate. The reasons why I've said this hotel is just ok is as follows: - reception staff were polite but lacking in warmth - an ironing board couldn't be delivered to the room as there was only one person on reception - not a massive deal, but not great service either - there is zero sound proofing between rooms. I could clearly hear someone going to the loo in the bathroom directly behind our bedhead, as well as doors opening and closing, the sound of tvs and conversation, and people walking back and forth on the floor above - the hotel markets itself on its design but some thought needs to go into the back of the hotel. Given that two rooms on each floor face the back, please address the peeling paint and lacklustre views of ventilation units. Other reviewers have described a courtyard or garden, but this is a huge stretch! All in all, the hotel is in a great location and served as a good base. Nothing more...but it has so much potential. Offer a bar service in the reception area, train your staff to be consistently enthusiastic with their guests and invest in some soundproofing. I'll then understand the 4 stars and the price point. Thank you.

Excellent hotel! Location and rooms are just great! Very nice idea and concept and the host was very helpful! Many nice restaurants and shops around … for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Metro is very near and many nice shops are just a few steps away.
