The river view room can see the city from a distance. The hotel is newly renovated. It can be seen that the room design is relatively sophisticated and the materials are very good. The thick doors, copper-looking hardware, and Japanese tea sets and tableware. Although the room is not It's quite big, but it's equipped with storage shelves, so the space seems to be ample. The waiters and front desk are friendly and considerate. Overall, it's good. It's very cost-effective in Perth. Disadvantages: The sink is too small, and you have to wash your face next to the faucet; the corridor is open-plan, and the wind was particularly strong one night, and it was difficult to sleep with the door blowing all night long; there are not many choices for breakfast and the quality of the food needs to be improved.

We booked this room pretty late after having to cut a European trip short and needing to transit Perth overnight on our way to SA. For a one-nighter in Perth this more than met our needs. Near new, modern, and clean - it was pretty good(without having any bells and whistles), and well priced for the Perth region. It's within the precinct of Curtin University, and has a great vibe about it. Some cafes nearby too in the morning if you want a quick bite. The one problem we found was that the fridge wasn't plugged in - a bit disappointing but I'm sure could have been easily remedied.

While not dead centre of the CBD, the hotel is within an easy 5 minute walk of it. But, the hotel's location is right opposite the Swan River and has lots of free overnight parking right outside, now that's a real bonus! The rooms are larger than most 5 star hotels we've stayed in and they are very clean, with comfortable beds. The hotel staff are very attentive and the facilities (pool, restaurant and bar) are pretty good. My wife and I have stayed at almost all of the 4 and 5 star hotels in Perth and while the Crown Plaza is rated as a 4 star, it is now our hotel of choice due to its value for money when compared to all of its competitors. So, if you're savvy, you won't go wrong staying here!

Stayed here for 3 nights, arriving after long flight from UK. No problem checking in, room in quiet location as requested. Some construction work going on at back of hotel, but nothing that disturbed me in the evening. Room was clean and had everything I needed for a short stay. Corridor and room carpets could do with replacing, but I guess that is a big expense after the last few years. Breakfast was more than adequate, with plenty of choice. The hot buffet was all fresh and frequently replenished. The young man in the restaurant (sorry I don't know your name), was very helpful and polite. Reception were helpful in booking a very early morning airport taxi for me, and on the morning of departure made certain that I safely got into my taxi. As a solo female traveller, it's the little details like that that mean so much. I would definitely return if i was visiting Perth again

The Sebel West Perth provided a budget-friendly accommodation option during my recent trip, allowing me to stay right in the heart of the city without breaking the bank. The staff at The Sebel West Perth were friendly and efficient. While not overly luxurious, the hotel's lobby and common areas were tidy and well-maintained. The check-in process was quick, and the staff was readily available to address any inquiries. The rooms, though basic, were clean and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. While the furnishings were not the most modern, they served their purpose. The bed was comfortable enough for a decent night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. The hotel's location was undoubtedly its strongest selling point. Being situated right in the city center meant easy access to popular attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. This convenience allowed me to make the most of my time in the city without spending much on transportation.

Both me and my son enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Although its more like a 'clubbing' area, I feel it is still safe and I have a child with me. And its just two of us. Staffs are friendly and hotel is at a good location. Room is well maintained, clean and comfortable. We had good 4 night of sleep! View from our room is fantastic. Breakfast was good too. GGuest UserThis hotel should be better than it is due to what seems like a staff shortage. The beds and the room was fine but a minimum of staff was evident so service struggled. If the intention is to economise then they will not survive. I was instructed to leave the car in the adjacent carpark and was left to struggle with our luggage to the hotel where we loaded our own carriage to take to our room, all this in clear view of other staff. Where was the concierge. We had a drink at the quite busy bar and while waiting for service, we could clearly see that there was no concierge on duty. The carriage we used was left in the hall way until we checked out. Now, if you like Indian food you'll love this place. Trouble is if you don't, go elsewhere. I think a restaurant should be more flexible with their menu.

GGuest UserCalling all curlies! Our room came with a Dyson hairdryer and diffuser. Perfect. Room decor is very classy as are all the common areas. Truth be told I found it a little dark to see well, but that’s the price of ambiance. We had a little problem with the bed on the first night and the staff quickly fixed it the next day. Great service. Excellent Italian restaurant in the hotel - you’ll have to book, even mid-week.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for two nights after a 17 hour flight from London Heathrow to Perth after waiting more than one and half hours for our luggage we got a taxi to this hotel and the service was very good. We checked in and went to our room where there was tea and coffee available in the room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable as were the pillow up to the standard of Holiday Inn around the world. We went down to Ivy and Jack's which is attached to the hotel. The food was very good but more like share platters and good for the occasional drink rather than a main meal. I believe this is where they service the breakfast if you have a breakfast package with the hotel. This hotel is right in the heart of the city so close to everything but not a lot of restaurants to eat at during the dinner service. Most hotels seem to only service lunches or late afternoon snacks.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location with ocean views, close to the city, shops and restaurant. The staff is extraordinary friendly and helpful, however, the hotel could do with a bit of a face-lift, a bit worn and I wrongly assumed it would provide basic facilities such as a toothbrush. The restaurant staff was equally friendly and breakfast was great and ample, but dinner was a bit of a disaster, could not eat the pork belly, it was one greasy lump, very disappointing. The pool was fantastic, quite unusual and beautifully lit at night, 5 stars. I was shocked by the state of the gym that used to be efficiently equipped and clean in the past. The equipment is at least 20 years old now, rusty and noisy.

GGuest UserWe wanted accommodation close to the Arena and this was perfect. The staff, cleanliness, breakfast, accessible bathroom, were all great. Shame about the comfort level of the bed and couch. The bed rolled into the middle big time and was very low. The couch was extremely low making it unusable for a person especially with a disability. They had obviously not thought about this aspect of useability only the bathroom to make it an accessible rating. We would stay again but not in that room and we would enquire about the comfort of the furniture.

GGuest UserI don’t think this hotel is in the best part of town but it is fairly central and easy to walk to some of the sights in the CBD and about 10 minutes walk from the station. However I wouldn’t walk around here at night on my own. I checked in quite late in the evening after a long flight from the UK. I had booked a small queen room and it was small. There was only a bedside table on one side of the bed, no wardrobe but two hooks with hangers on. There was a kettle, safe and fridge. The hotel website also mentioned a washing machine and tumble dryer for guests. What they did not tell me before I arrived was that there was building works going on in the hotel which started at 8 am. Not great when I was struggling with the UK / Australia time difference. It was quite noisy. The bed was really comfortable as there was a padded mattress topper. There was also air-con in the room which could be used to heat or cool the room. Although there was a mirror over the sink in the bathroom there was no mirror in the room with decent lighting to sort make up etc. out. There was a full length mirror near the door but not particularly well lit. The shower room was clean, with two large newish white towels provided. The water from the shower was hot, and decent pressure. It did leak a little under the door but not too much to become a problem. One of the issues with the room was noise control - I could clearly hear my neighbours raising and lowering the blind so there was definitely noise escape around the large windows. I was also woken during the night by one of the neighbours snoring loudly. And woken a few times each night by people returning to their rooms late. There is no restaurant for breakfast at the hotel but there are plenty of cafes locally. I chose this hotel because it was priced competitively but would not have chosen it otherwise
