Comfy quiet stay
Easy to book, prior to arrival received an email with entry information, really comfortable and roomy room. Quiet location. A little oasis with the pool.

The Roundhouse Motel in Peterborough is a good place to stay when visiting this nice SA town with its famous rail history. Our room was spacious and clean with good facilities and parking at the door. The restaurant was undergoing work so there was no on-site dining but it was only a short drive to the town centre with hotels and pizza plentiful. Likewise no breakfast but we could easily eat downtown. It is only a short drive to the rail museum. We had a most comfortable night and would recommend the Roundhouse Motel.

Havent stayed here for a while so this focuses on the restaurant. Simple menu, but three well prepared and presented meals. absolutely fantastic chips, my Schnitzel was made up of three generous pieces. also spot on. service was polite and friendly. paid a yad more than at a pub, but certainly got good value

A cut above most budget motels. Don't be put off by the dated exterior. Away from the main roads so very quiet. We had a large well appointed carpeted room, with glass door to the garden and the pool. King bed, two comfy chairs and coffee table, another table and two further chairs. Big TV with all channels plus ABC iView, SBS on Demand, etc. Dated bathroom but clean, good shower pressure and hot water. Linen and towels good quality. Dispenser shower gel, body lotion, shampoo so no wasteful little soaps. Microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery, teatowel and detergent. Very clean pleasant and helpful staff.

Basic motel, quiet location off the main road & nice pool area. Room was OK - great shower, toaster, kettle, microwave & fridge. Large trolleys of dirty linen everywhere, particularly outside rooms & in the walkway from reception was a downside & really did make one question the hygiene standards. They looked like they’d been there for some time

There was nothing to dislike about the propery other than the view from outside is a bit scrappy the pathways were littered and dirty, the gravel carpark was scattered with potholes and puddles. However, the rooms were excellent, they were clean, well appointed and roomy.

Our Wotif booking was for a family (2 adults 2 children) but only had 2 beds. The staff were very helpful and changed the room without a fuss. Room very comfortable and quiet area just outside of town. Lovely relaxing stay.
