A very interesting experience as there was not anything specifically awful, however, there were experiences that shouldn’t have happened at all. 1. The overall experience didn’t feel very welcoming. The housekeeping staff were the friendliest on the grounds. Front of house staff always seemed preoccupied and didn’t greet when they saw you, nor help with luggage when checking out. 2. We had a pool access room. The umbrella outside had holes, so the rain came through and drenched the pool recliners daily. There was a lot of mould on the sliding door which I believe is preventable. We had a visit from a massive cockroach one morning as well. 3. Although the breakfast options were plentiful, they were basically the same thing every single day and a lot of it was not cooked well. The chicken sausages were extremely dry and overcooked yet the potatoes were undercooked. I had eggshells in my fried eggs which completely ruined my breakfast for the entire stay. (Room service was fair. Good price for portion size. Not very flavorful though) 4. The overall experience wasn’t great for me. Highly doubt I’d stay there again. I’d prefer not to feel like I’m being hosted ‘just because’.

Hotel have a great variety of buffet breakfast. Special treat from the hotel for our stay for 3 days 2 nights for our wedding anniversary.

Most of the staff were lovely, smiling and helpful but the odd 1 or 2 two them were miserable. Nice hotel but lacks a bit of the prestige normally associated with 5 star.

Booked for 3 nights but I checked out immediately after I entered the room. They need to improve on cleanliness and need to refurbish the room. It looks old and have weird smell. Not worth the price

Unfortunately the shower blinds did not work despite asking it to me be repaired twice or change rooms. At least they were eventually prompt in getting it fixed although halfway. Ants in the room on the desk. Toilet seat was broken. Hotel is a nice 4-star but property management needs to address minor repair to leave a better impression of the hotel.

It was easy check in and check out. Everything was great staff at the front desk speaks good English. Location is really good can walk to the mall and not far from the beach

Excellent location with food, shops, massage and night market nearby. Hotel arranged connected rooms for our family, and those rooms are good with swimming pool view. Hotel staff are helpful with good attitude. Buffett breakfast with great variety of food. It's a really good hotel and will stay again next time.

Room spacious enough with a nice L shape couch by the window. Nice buffet Bfast spread which I always enjoy at Grand Mercure. Good location within walking distance to beach and Jungceylon

Overall great hotel to stay in. Kids really enjoy the pool access room. Hotel staff very professional and friendly. Location was central and easy just 5min walk to the mall. Happy my kids really enjoyed themselves.

Excellent Hotel lots of different rooms/ villas to choose from very central to everything, staff could not do enough for us. Great buffet breakfast. Would definitely book again.

poolside room is great, poor environment as i found many bed bugs and cause me skin allergy. Good service and follow-up from hotel room staff after the bed bugs issue.
